App didn't work properly.

When we went to the Parthenaic Stadium, the app said there were no time slots available, but there were very few people inside! At another site, the Lyceum, the app said I could not re enter, but I hadn't been in! At another two sites the app took forever to open the ticket.. We were not happy with it!

Terrible Experience

I had a terrible experience with Smartvisit. I bought the Acropolis + attractions pass. The Acropolis tickets were through Get your Guide, but to access the other sites passes, I had to download and use the Smartvisit app. It was easy to download and get my passes about a month in advance. I checked to make sure everything was working the day before I was scheduled to use the passes, all normal. The day of when I go to use the pass, they are not available. Try re-inputting my package information-did not work. I call support and they said my reservation was cancelled. Call Get you Guide, my reservation had not been cancelled. The Smartvisit support would not issue me a working code to access my passes. I asked to speak to a supervisor, the representative said she would contact one and they would email me back. Never received an email or any kind of follow up. Completely unhelpful. I would avoid using this product again at all costs. I ended up having to wait in line to purchase tickets to the sites for a higher price.

Way to expensive and bad acceptance of Athens Pass

We bought 2x SmartVisit Athens 48 hours Museum passes. The Acropolis passes needed ordering 48 hours in advance, which blocked us from using the pass for any other attractions. When we arrived at the Acropolis together, one of the tickets was invalid because it was a duplicate of the other. So we had to go back and buy new tickets ourselves. There was no 48 hours booking in advance needed at all then. Once on the Acropolis, we wanted to activate the self guided audio tour for the Acropolis. That didn’t work because there appeared to be a 12 hours waiting time for the audio tour be activated. Crazy!!! Also the hop on hop off bus that was promised was a problem. Nowhere on the site or tickets it stated which of the 4 bus operators we needed to get. After a long conversation with the support desk, they told us we must try “big bus”. The bus drivers didn’t recognise our tickets at all, but they were friendly enough to let us in. At the Archeological museum (one of the biggest attractions in Athens), it appeared that this museum was not on the list of valid museums, so we had to buy tickets ourselves again. All and all a very bad experience for a way to high price.
