I had solar panels + Battery installed on the 30 March. This was great as I had only signed the contract on 22nd March the week before.
The 3 chaps who carried the work were fantastic, they completed the work in 1 day. They were very efficient, competent and tidy, explaining each item and its purpose.
The installation was overseen by Simons Banks (owner) who came round 3 time just to check if we were happy with the chaps and their work.
The System was commissioned and fully working by 5pm, they explained how the battery would carry out charging a cycle 3 times, taking about 24 hours, every thing worked absolutely fine.
We had a couple of extra items installed, a Surge protection system (protects your Electrical items if property struck by lightening) and as we have a large battery, a bypass system incase of power cuts, to run a few light, power to boiler and a double socket.

I am so impressed with the speed and service that was provided. From contracts up, to solar installed and scaffolding down it was 6 days! Super efficient, very neat work and competitive price. Simon & Clare gave a very personal experience. I would highly recommend.

From the initial enquiry to the final Installation I was treated to a very professional job. The installing team lead by Matt were very efficient in their work and polite in all communication with me.

They fitted the equipment having moved the items in the garage necessary to install and left the garage in a better state than it was. Thank you

The installation was carried out very professionally. The Technicians were well experienced and kept the site today. They left the site clean and today at the end of the day. I am very happy with the installation and the fact that I am now generating my own energy for use in my house. I would highly recommend.

I've had a GivEnergy solar panel system fitted and the whole process was a breeze.

After enquiring about a solar panel system from Smart Home Technical, I very quickly received a full quote for the system to be fitted, Simon very kindly gave me advice on which system would be best for our needs, took the time to explain everything and was not pushy in the slightest. Even after having the panels fitted he will still happily answers any more queries I have.

After agreeing to go forward with having them fitted, Rhys came round at short notice and checked that the system would fit where we wanted it to go.

The rest of the process from here on was just as efficient and professional. Matt came to wire it all up and did a very neat and tidy job and had us all up and running very quickly.

All in all just a great experience and thank you again to the whole team.

SMT responded to my request for a Solar battery very quickly and Rhys and Ross installed the battery for me only 2 days after the order. The guys were efficient, polite and very neat. Great job!

honest approach to sales that was really refreshing, had been told by another company that we would need to upgrade our EV charger Simon pointed out that the app for the solar panels would do what was needed. quick installation and they even moved our stuff around in the garage as we had no time to do that for them

After reading all the glowing reviews we decided this was the company for us to install our solar system and what a wonderful experience it was.
From the first site visit by Simon who explained everything very clearly in an easy to understand way right through to the project completion just over a week later everything was handled promptly and professionally by the whole team, even when I made some last minute changes, they were happy to accommodate these.
I was even lucky enough to be shown a very similar system to ours in action before taking the plunge which added the personal touch that makes this company shine.

I have just had Solar Panels, a battery and an invertor installed by SHTL into my home located in Verwood.

After getting 3 x quotes from various local and national suppliers, I decided to go with SHTL. This was based on their reviews, that they are local to where I live, the quoted price, and the friendly but professional contact I had received from them. They are a small family run business, who clearly care a great deal about the service they deliver.

Prior to installation, Simon - the company director, came to my home to confirm the location of the equipment. He was informative and helpful. Between us we agreed where the kit should go.

A date was agreed, and true to his word the scaffolding arrived, quickly followed by the installers.
There were three installers, Ross, Ronan and Rhys.

All of them were very professional, helpful, polite, knowledgeable and respected my property. They are also annoyingly young! (joking)

They basically did everything, all I had to do was to install an app on my phone to see what was happening on the system. The app is very simple to use....

I cannot get over how awesome these three chaps were. They are a credit to SHTL.

A few days later Simon came over again to check everything was OK, and I was able to ask him any questions.

I can strongly recommend the services delivered by SHTL. They have all be amazing.

Excellent service. Company recommended and installed an EV charger including additional electrical work which was required. They also attended when I had an issue after a smart meter installation.

Rhys at Smart Home arrived to put right an install by a previous company, great communication from start to finish and the work was carried out confidently by Ryys who was very polite and explained what he would be doing on the day and handed over very professionally on completion would highly recommend this company.

Smart Home recently installed my Ohme charger. Their team were professional, quick to respond and the installation was great. Rhys the engineer did a brilliant job.

Great service from the team at Smart Home Technical. Super fast turnaround installing an EV charger within 5 days of contacting them. Engineers who completed the work were brilliant - I needed to make some last minute changes to where to site the charger which was no issue for them at all, they were very knowledgable and completed the work to a very high standard

Many months of hassle trying to get a company, via a Volvo promise when I bought a XC40 Recharge, to get an EV Charger fitted. I was about to give up when a friend recommended this company based in Bournemouth. At the 'drop of a hat' they ( the company owners Simon and Clare, sorted out the issue for me and within 3 weeks Phil and Kieran popped up to fit the charger. The high standard continued. They were efficient, polite and very thorough.

I went out for 3 or 4 quotes and SHTL were competitive but it was the professional approach, good advice which concurs with the research I had done. The job was completed promptly and the guys working in the house were always respectful and even kicked off their shoes when required. Fitting was neat and the system was everything they promised. Would recommend.

A good competitive quote for the Hypervolt EV charger and a new consumer unit. The final installation of the board and EV charger was good, once the manager came back to make good but the engineer (Matt) appeared more bothered about getting away on a Friday and taking Instagram pictures than finishing the whole job to the correct standard, as detailed below:

The installation day started poorly by the engineer Matt telling me that the installation will take ‘As long as it takes’.

Asbestos roof lining drilled into (due to me not informing the engineer or labelling the sealed asbestos) and after the engineer was informed of the error, did not fully make good by sealing in the cut asbestos fibres.

100 amp fuse not seated correctly after installation and fuse housing was made loose after the installation. I was informed by the engineer that I must contact the distribution board to get that fixed. When I am pretty sure due to his removal of the item that should be done by them.

Two Utility room cupboards and sideboard not replaced and just left on the floor for me to replace.

EV charge was installed by the apprentice over the top of a rubber water pipe, which was pinched behind the charger and potentially dangerous. So was obviously not inspected by the qualified engineer on the day but signed off anyway.

Plaster rubbish left in the house, food rubbish left in utility room and garage left insecure even though I had asked them to secure it when they left.

Overall a poor experience with this company.
