Been using them for about 10 years in France to access uk tv … service has been excellent.
You need a bit of tech knowledge to set up a secondary router, but once it’s up and running, it’s great that all devices can access uk platforms.
Would highly recommend !!!

It works and the support is usually very quick to assist if there are issues. Now a lifetime member because of this.

I have been using SmartDNS to access channels i want to watch for about 6 years now. Like any web based service you can get occasional issues, but these have always been diagnosed and cleared very quickly. They respond to issues within minutes and keep you updated regularly, Having said that I have only had 2 issues in all that time, both were resolved in double quick time, so highly recommend this service.

The support team are absolutely fabulous, they have never been unable to resolve any problems that I have had. Their response to my emails has always been quck and efficient, I cannot fault them, excellent service. *****

From time to time Smart DNS Proxy stops connecting with "foreign" sites. Whether the solution is as simple as reactivating my IP or as complex as troubleshooting particular services or dns servers, tech support is responsive and effective.

Great vpn. Have been using it for the past 8 years. Changing countries in the process very helpful service. Quick response in case of problems. Really happy with this vpn.

Had a particularly interesting problem affecting three different devices using UK streaming services. This particular problem seemed to defy all logic, making it difficult to identify and resolve. After several conversations with support and tests/checks performed, they were able to resolve the problem and all is now working correctly.

On the evening of 30/10/25 we were watching UK's BBC tv. suddenly the screen went black. Tried ITV, same result, likewise 4 and 5, so no UK tv, AT ALL.
One email to Smart Dns to enquire, 3 minutes later the reply came back with a possible solution.
"If you have 4 green ticks, try to "reactivate",please".
I did, and it was all back to normal. BIG THANK YOU.

Since 2018, I have been utilizing Smart DNS Proxy as a reliable service for accessing UK and USA television content. While it consistently performs as expected when required, I would appreciate the addition of more VPN locations and an Apple TV application.
But on the occasions when the service has problems the support team are great at helping.

Smart DNS Proxy: Good, polite, efficient service. Proxy servers and smart DNS allowing you to watch streaming services from other countries, no BS. Reasonable price. Recommend it to anyone. 🙂

Been with Smart DNS now for a few months and in the last few days one of the services I follow stopped working. It seemed like not an easy issue to fix but support stayed with me and today the issue has been resolved.
Very professional, very polite, and willing to help not forgetting an easy-to-use service that works!

System works well to permit whole house remapping of geographic location. Customer service is attentive and addresses any issues that may crop up from time to time.

Always love smartdns proxy. For years using their product successfully. But the standout feature is the super responsiveness of the help desk. Meticulous and detailed in their support

I don’t understand the technology at all - but these guys get problems fixed quickly and easily. Proxy Server does exactly what it’s meant to.
