I would agree with some of the other reviews. This company is slower than I would expect at despatching items. As suggested they may be ordering from their suppliers once they receive your order.
Of the three orders placed this month, there is only one outstanding. All orders seem to take just over a week to arrive. Just long enough to make you start thinking it's got lost.
Also ordering "Economy" delivery may not have been the smartest option.

Do not use this company, you will not get the parts you ordered, you will not get your money back, you will not be able to contact them and they will reply to emails or phone messages. Do not believe the 4 or 5 star reviews they are fake. This is the worst experience I have ever had when buying on the web.

My partner placed an order for part to the value of £26. Order acknowledged and a further email telling us that the order was being "processed". At this time payment was taken.
Some 8 days later I contacted them through their contact section of the website asking for an update. Was told that MB had sent the wrong colour part and they would keep me informed. Since then I have phoned 3 times and pinged on several emails to reach the situation where MB have apparently sent the wrong colour part.. Did I want to take the wrong colour part, did I just want a black one, ... I have asked for a refund an confirmation of the order being cancelled. In truth I don't hold out much hope for any of this to happen.
This is a company that does not appear to hold any stock themselves. This is a company that fails to communicate the status of orders, or problems, or potential solutions to any matter that arises.
This is a company that you should not be doing business with.
This company displays contempt for its customers and does not seem to care that they fail in basic customer services or is that actual supply of goods.
Utterly disappointing.

Bad quality item. Started tearing at the corners where the straps are sewn on after two weeks.I have emailed numerous times with no reply. I called and was put on hold straight away.

What kind of people are these to have bought a website address that was originally owned by Smart-Parts-Direct (whose website states them to be the biggest seller worldwide of parts for Smart since 2005), and they then use "smart parts direct" as a search key which will drag people to their Smart Stuff website?
I'll tell you - complete rsols. Go to the proper site who will send you the correct parts you order; worldwide; sent within a week; from their UK address; every time. And postage starts at £1.
Just search for the company by name (web address not allowed on here), it's spelled as above .com
And if you didn't know it, they will supply you painted body panels in YOUR car's colour, NOBODY else does this
452 Steel wheels :)
Ordered two rear 452 Steel wheels (proverbial hens teeth now) not even Mercedes couldn't get them for me, but somehow these arrived yesterday. A bit of a wait not knowing if they would materialise and my level of cynicism but so worth it..

Shocking service
Ordered a part mid Feb to fit before selling car. After 3 emails in early April to check why not dispatched finally got a reply saying the order had been missed and would be sent asap. Got to early may and still no part. Sent another email to request cancellation and refund. No reply again. Part finally sent- shame it's too late as the car has now been sold and had to give a discount for new owner to replace. Still awaiting contact regarding a return and refund!

I wished that i have checked trustpilot before buying.
They should be ashamed, the smart community is a nice bunch of people all over the world and as far as i know we trust anf help each others with problems and support when necessary, these people should definitely not be trusted and should definitely not be supported with any kind of order at their webshop.

I ordered and paid for a part for my Smart Roadster. The e-mails confirming the order and payment were sent quickly. Unfortunately when I rang the number that was on the website after a few days to enquire what was happening, I was told that there was no action on the order yet. My attention was drawn to the terms and conditions, this meant that there was potential for a wait of more than another week. The lady I spoke to told me she would speak to Kate about it. I was asked my phone number and email address although I had given my order number in the beginning.
I checked the terms and conditions and copied and pasted the part of these that seemed to be relevant to my order, I sent this to the 'Contact us' email enquiry service. I asked how long it was going to take to select the item, process it and post it?
Amazingly I got a very fast e-mail cancelling my order, and another from Worldpay telling me that my payment had been refunded. It was refunded without any problem.
It was a bit of a shock, it meant I had wasted three days waiting for a piece of kit I needed.
Luckily I contacted Mercedes Benz of Newcastle and I got a part sent to me with free postage for twenty pounds cheaper. It will be here a week before the one I had ordered from Smart-stuff. Just disappointing I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from them.

After filing a complaint with Credit card company they FINALLY contacted us back. However it was with a nasty email.
Lack of communication is killing them for me.
So far my experience has been less than stellar. I've yet to receive my order placed over 6 weeks ago. After numerous attempts at emailing them and using their online 'contact' form I eventually skyped them (with a terrible connection but they were friendly enough) to be told they were waiting for part of my order to be delivered from Mercedes. That was about 2 weeks ago so again I've been sending numerous emails and using their contact form to try and get an update - no response at all yet again. I've spent over 450gbp with these people and have yet to see a thing and their lack of communication is incredible honestly. Do they actually want business ?
Update: 8 weeks from first order and got my money back after doing PayPal dispute and escalation, still complete silence from vendor. Not even to reply to Paypal, have they died ?
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Take your Money and don't supply goods ordered.
Shame I can't give -10 stars. Placed an order for £836 worth of goods on 6th December 2017 and paid immediately via Paypal. I received an email confirming the receipt of the order. By the 2nd of January 2018 I had received no further communication and more importantly, no goods. I emailed to chase the order, having received no response I phoned on the 5th January 2018. The Call was diverted and someone in the 'Garage' answered the phone, I gave them my order number and asked the status of my order, they found my order on the system and said they would get 'Kate' in the shop to phone me back. I left it 2 hours then attempted to phone again, many times through the day, my calls continued to be diverted but this time they were disconnected. At this point I had enough and raised a claim through Paypal. It took until 31st January but Paypal found in my favour and returned the money to me.
Avoid at all costs, they will take your money and not provide any goods, they will ignore ALL attempts at communication. If you really do want to risk ordering, I strongly suggest you pay with paypal or credit card so you have some hope of getting your money back.
Fraudulent Crooks. If they couldn't provide the goods, they should have said so and refunded the money under their own volition.
I cannot stress this enough - AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
Missing Order
Ordered a cover. money taken, confirmation email received from them. Then nothing... for nearly a month.
Called 3 times and emailed - didn't get a call back.
Got Mould all over car now.
Update. Exactly one month from when the order was placed i get an email saying order has been cancelled and money refunded. A lady from reception then called me up shortly afterwards to say they had sent an email a week ago saying they didn't have them in stock. No email was ever received. But i did get a mouldy car. Thanks Smart Stuff. Are you going to pick up the bill?
