$60 “Free” Gift

I loved the items themselves, but wanted to share a heads up for international customers. My order included a surprise “free gift” (a canvas bag) that I didn’t select, and it ended up changing the customs classification of the package to textiles.

Because of that, I was charged $60 in import fees—on what would have otherwise been a duty-free order. I reached out to see if anything could be done, but wasn’t able to find a resolution.

Just something to be mindful of when ordering 🤍

We love the great variety of products

We love the great variety of products. We mainly shop for our kids. The delivery process is fast (we pay the premium DHL version) and never ever had problems with duties. We always got a refund. I think this is a great service. We never used the return service as this may be more complicated to ship from Switzerland. So better shop the right sizes ;-)

I have an order that I need to return…

I have an order that I need to return for a larger size. It is 2 pairs of autry snekers that are too small. I am unable to get any person to give information on the order number so I can return the product for a bigger size. I'm very disappointed in this.

DO NOT BUY FROM SMALLABLE

DO NOT BUY FROM SMALLABLE! Ridiculous fees you will be required to pay AFTER you have already paid for your goods and a high delivery fee with no proper warning on what that could mean. I am being required to pay $70 (40% of my order) to clear my package that I already paid for plus $25 shipping. If I do not pay the fee than I will not receive my products and they will go back to Smallable and will NOT be refunded. Sounds like a scam to me.

On the other hand, their exact amount cannot be communicated in advance because it is fixed by the customs authorities of the country of destination and depends on several criteria beyond our control.

Customs Chaos

I made a purchase for about $130 SGD, shipped to Singapore. A week later, I get a notice from DHL saying that I'm about to receive the parcel, and I owe over $1,000 in taxes on it. Huh????

Apparently, the company put down the wrong currency or something, listing its value at $11k SGD. I had to reject the shipment, I couldn't give the gift I planned, and I still haven't heard back from Smallable.

your service is arrogant. Not taking responibility for own mistakes. Sending wrong items and putting the resposibility and payment of sending back completely on customer. We ended up sending back wrong jacket and never got the right one nor our money back. So you own me a jacket.

The listing photo did not match the item received. I reached out about a return with no response back.

Edited review to add that smallable quickly reached out very apologetically and offered a return label. I may have been too quick and didn’t give enough time for the response. I am very happy with the customer service department and will continue to recommend and shop from the store.

My order when thru fine but later to find out that DHL would not deliver until I paid a 43.00 tariff for them to deliver it! My gift was 72.00 and. Delivery fee of 20.00 then added an extra 43 .00 to deliver. Totally ridiculous! Will never order again!
