I made an account just to review this! The food was absolutely amazing, everything was so fresh and tasty. My partner and I have ordered a few times this week and everytime the food has been incredible. Also- the Honeycake is the best cake I've ever eaten. I am genuinely inspired to learn more about Ukranian cuisine and I will definitely be ordering again!!! Дякую!

Excellent food, this is awesome.
The delivery was going to be late and the owner rang me and apologised.
The cake was one of the best cakes I have ever tasted.
My 93 year old housebound Mom said it was delicious 💋💋😋😋😋.

First time ordering here and it was BRILLIANT. Good food, well prepared, presented and packaged. Vibrant flavours, filling dishes and amazing aromas. Delivery was on the dot. My only disappointment was that Borsch was not available. Maybe next time!

We ordered Kyiv meals and Honeycake.
The Kyiv was so succulent & flavourful, we all loved them; made us realise what a poor replica our UK store bought ones are.
The accompanying wedges were seasoned to perfection and the honey cake was light, fluffy and just sweet enough.
If 10-stars was a possibility Smakolyki Catering would definitely get 10!

I ordered all of the desserts and received complementary potato and mushroom veranyky (which turned out to be the best). Everything was mid and lacked flavour. You can see by the second photo that the desserts were left barely touched (and it was shared between 5 people) and the savoury dish was finished. Next time I think I’ll order the savoury dishes as it looks like that’s what they specialise in. Very lovely service though. I have been to Ukraine before and love their cuisine so I hope the dishes don’t disappoint.

Regarding the desserts issue, on our website, it is stated literally: "We specialize in healthy, fresh, and never processed food, prepared according to traditional Ukrainian recipes." This means that we make our desserts only from the best ingredients with minimal added sugar. For example, our recipe for Strawberry Cheesecake includes half the amount of sugar compared to standard recipes. This sets their taste apart from what you may be accustomed to.
As the number of positive reviews demonstrates, people generally enjoy our products; however, unfortunately, we cannot satisfy everyone, but we make every effort in that direction

The chicken Kyiv was very nicely cooked and I enjoyed the honey cake which was enough for 2 .
All delivered promptly in eco friendly packaging.
