Excellent and attractive fans
Fans were delivered on time and were easy to install. I installed them in the back patio and they look great and function very well. They are quiet and can control them with one remote. Sometimes they don’t work all together but eventually they all get synchronized. I would recommend these fans to anyone looking for a good price fan.

SMAFAN Customer Service is excellent!!
I purchased 3 indoor/outdoor ceiling fans that, although quiet, did not seem to move much air. After noting the disappointment expressed in my review, Customer Service contacted me to learn more about the sites where the fans were installed. The representative explained why the model I selected was not well-suited to my particular outdoor and stairwell locations, and he guided me to better choices the second time around. He also facilitated the return of my original fans. My replacement model (Aspen 52" with downrods) works very well in the three locations, and I could not be happier. Hats off to SMAFAN for excellent customer service and advising!

I really like smafan.com products, I bought and installed three of their smart fans, and in the summertime they are awesome, sometimes they go offline, like when the power goes out or the router reboots, but I can usually get them reconnected pretty quickly. One of the remotes quit working and I had to buy a new one, but it works so I'm happy, although I wish they would have just sent me a new one for free, but I understand that they can't warranty things for life.

The fan I wanted was not available in local stores. My fan fit the home decor and closely matched other cans in the house. The fan was light weight and easy to install.

I have installed many fans in my life…
I have installed many fans in my life and I would say that the installation of this fan was, by far the easiest that I have ever had. In fact, a few days ago I installed a fan from one of the Big Box stores and was cursing my way through that installation! This fan went up quickly, all the screw holes lined up nicely and electrical connections were a breeze. I love the app and its ability to change the light color, the dimness, as well as the speed of the fan. My only issue was that there was not enough time to sync the remote to the fan, as you need to press a button within 3 seconds of the power turning back on and my breaker is in the basement. Once I got help it was quick.
The fan looks spectacular and really looks great in my living room !

Down rod is fan-specific :-(
The fan is great, but it comes with 6" down rod ONLY. When I bought a generic 18" rod, I found out it won't work with the fan - something I've never seen before. So I had to order one from the company, delaying the installation.

Great looking fan and was well packaged.
Fan was well packaged and easy to assemble by the included instructions. It works great being controlled by the remote and the LED light adds to it.

Defective Fan
I spent a lot of money trying to troubleshoot 1/2 fans that was defective. I requested partial refund which is still pending. Otherwise…beautiful fans.

Please kindly note that, as outlined in our warranty policy, we’re unfortunately unable to credit installation fees, including costs related to hiring an electrician for uninstalling or reinstalling the fans. Our warranty strictly covers replacement parts and/or exchanges for a brand new ceiling fan if the product is found to be defective.
The replacement motor is in transit now, hope it can help solve your problem.

excellent value, but safety cable isn't accounted for
excellent value and easy enough to put together, but missing some hardware to do so:
there's no threaded hole to attach the safety cable from the fan - also, the included screw for the safety cable is too short to attach to the fan when assembled.. i had to use some screws i had on hand from other projects to properly attach the safety cable to the assembled fan, then used the included screw to attach it to the threaded holes for the housing - definitely not ideal, as the housing doesn't sit flush with the ceiling, but there's no other place to attach the safety cable to the ceiling bracket.. however, these fans are an excellent value overall and they look great in my home while keeping it cool

The fan arrived and the glass globe was broken. I took a picture and sent an email with my info and received a reply a few hours later and replacement globe was sent right out. Didn't have to go through any annoying hoops that seems to be the process within a type of request these days. For that alone I give it 5 stars, however it is also a nice fan.
