SLEEPON is a SCAM

SLEEPON is a SCAM. They will take your money and not send you what you paid for. I have been trying to get a product that I paid for in early September, (over two months ago), and it was supposed to be processed in 2-3 business days and delivered within 5 to 7 business days. 15 days later, I had not received anything, so I contacted them. They apologized and said they would ship it right away. Within a couple weeks I received part of the order I paid for. I reached out again, and they said they would be getting more of the item within a couple weeks and that I would get it soon. In mid October I still had not received anything, and reached out to them again. They said I should get it within the month. By early November, I reached out again. I had seen that the item was for sale on their website with no reference to being sold out, as they had done for some other products. I told them they could either send me the product or refund me. They then said I would get it around mid to late November. I still have not received any kind of order processing or shipping notice despite it now being November 22nd. I do not believe that they have any intention of sending me the product I ordered, nor refunding my money. DO NOT BUY from this company. They are not trustworthy, and will likely scam you as well. I recommend looking into other companies like Oura Ring, Whoop 4.0, Fitbits, Apple devices, etc.

I got this and when compared to my Apple Watch

I got this and when compared to my Apple Watch, this Sleepon3 is poor in data acquisition. Nobody with an Apple Watch sholud waste their money on this, but get Apps that use data from your watch which are much better and accurate. I thought this was an improvement? Not the little rings to hold this are way too small for an American mans Hands. None would fit, so I tried it on my little finger and it was tight. This thing couldn't record as it said I had less than 3 hours sleep, and I slept 9. Then it never could connect to the cloud? I then went to my iPhone and all the data from my watch was there from O2, breathing cycles, Heart rate, Sleep Quality, HRV, Sleep BPM, Restfulness, etc. I would love to return this, but seems it's made in China, perhaps that explains all the issues. Stick with the Apple Watch! It's proven and my cardiologist loves the data from it.

I purchased 2 of the new #3 model rings. One for my wife and the other for myself. We have had them for several months now. The software and firmware is always kept current. I wanted these to work and really tried to make it so. I have considerable experience with a variety of IT products and earned my living in IT for over 25 years. I'm retired now.
These devices should not have been released for sale. They are in desperate need of additional software and firmware development. Any devices being sold should have been identified as beta and certainly priced accordingly. The support system provided is subpar and is perhaps the worst I have ever experienced. These devices and/or it's application is buggy and unreliable. I believe that with enough development these will likely work quite well but not today!

Go2Sleep Device Failure - BEWARE!

As someone with very poor sleep hygiene, I purchased this $190 device with the intention of determining what my sleeping parameters were, and to hopefully correct any shortcomings recorded by the finger-worn ring. SleepOn Go2Sleep is described as "a smart, wearable ring that monitors your sleep and health data, including blood oxygen, heart rate, sleep stages, and breathing patterns". The data is then purportedly analysed by the SLEEPON app, providing insights and recommendations for improving sleep quality.

Initially, I experienced major issues in attempting to pair the device with my Android mobile phone. After contacting SLEEPON, I was advised that the device's firmware was apparently out of date—despite its being shipped with that version of the firmware, and being relatively new.

I then downloaded the new SLEEPON V.3 firmware, with the expectations of the device now functioning correctly. It then paired successfully with my mobile phone.

However, after wearing the device for two consecutive nights, it stopped functioning; it would not turn on or register any data, nor show any sign of charging—these functions being indicated by flashing red and green lights (or not) on the device. Further, the data it did record in most cases was suspect as far as its accuracy was concerned.

I checked my heart rate, and blood oxygen data from the (two only nights) Go2Sleep, and each was too high and too low respectively—in comparison to an SpO2 pulse oximeter I also use.

In conclusion, despite many emails to the SLEEPON company, they refused to provide any sort of compensation, either with a replacement device of financial reimbursement as they stated (quite correctly) that my Go2Sleep was two months out of warranty. I asked for an 'ex gratia' payment as a goodwill gesture, but none was forthcoming.

I can therefore not recommend either the faulty Go2Sleep device itself, or the dismissive, inflexible customer service of the SLEEPON company.

No delivery

I wish I could write an actual review, but since I never received my order there is nothing to review!
I placed my order start of December, it's now end of January and after multiple enquiries the only response I got was: 'It normally doesn't take this long for the device to arrive'. No follow up / follow through

No good for people who don't sleep soundly

I purchased a Go2Sleep (3) ring at Christmas and am using the Sleepon 3 app.

My main frustration with this product combination is that it frequently tells me there's insufficient data collected (less than three hours), despite me falling asleep around 10 p.m. and syncing it at 7 a.m.

Tech support has explained that this issue occurs because I tend to wake in the early hours and move around, causing the ring to think I'm awake. While it resumes tracking once I fall back asleep, that time still adds up to less than three hours of recorded data.

I don’t understand why I can’t manually select sleep times and have the software consolidate any data gathered within those hours.

As a perimenopausal woman experiencing sleep disturbances, I cannot recommend this product.

Version 2 was good. Version 3 not

The newest version go2sleep 3 works about half the time. About half the time it will synch but then show no data for the night. I’ll re-synch it and it will take the three minutes to synch but continue to show no data. I constantly update the firmware but it doesn’t make a difference. It just can’t be relied on. I had the earlier version and loved it which is why I upgraded to the 3 version. I hate the 3 version. It is useless.

SLEEPON 3 is not a final product. After 3 firmware updates and at least one app update the device still does not track the total duration of my sleep (about 6h) but reports 1-2h night “naps”. Dozens of emails in exchange with service and the typical response “please try it a few nights more”. Btw, support never signs with any name, not even “support team”, so you don’t know who is responding or how many different employees have responded to you.

Product not shipping. No response.

Ordered a product more than a month ago. Status is still preparing for shipping. Customer service always just says they’ll get back to me and never do. I don’t have much confidence they’d even refund me. Seems a dodgy company with some good marketing. I’d be cautious about buying from them or go elsewhere.
Update:
I’ve replied with my order number multiple times already so I will ignore ‘Max’s’ reply below.

I'm impressed with the updated version.

I am the long-time user who has been relying on their products for several years, I was thrilled to hear about the new version of Go2Sleep.I like the updated app version, especially the way sleep data is presented. It looks much better than the old version.

It works well

Over the years, I've tried quite a few sleep trackers, and they've all performed well to some extent, but they seem to lack some key features. However, SLEEPON might be the best integrated service I've found. This tracker not only detects sleep patterns, blood oxygen levels, and heart rate, but now it can also monitor blood sugar levels—truly a significant advancement.

Horrible device and app

I was a fan of my Sleepon2 so I was excited to get the new Sleepon3.

I couldn't be more disappointed or disgusted!

This device an app are buggy. The recording of sleep is often cut short or not recorded at all.

And as far as the ability to record blood glucose? In a month of use I've just been able to achieve 3 readings! And when and if you get a reading the result range of probability is wide making results meaningless!

Stick with 2 and save money and frustration!

Thank you for your feedback and for being a loyal user of the SLEEPON products. We're truly sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced with the GO2SLEEP 3 device and the app. Let me provide you with some insights and potential solutions to the problems you've encountered.

Blood Glucose Monitoring:
Our glucose monitoring technology is based on PPG (photoplethysmography) signal acquisition. While it doesn't provide exact blood glucose values, it offers a range estimate. Based on data from 500 subjects, the accuracy is around 84.7%, with a sensitivity of 81.05%, specificity of 88.35%, and precision of 87.51%. Please note that our product is a consumer electronic device and does not have FDA certification, so the readings are meant for personal health monitoring and not clinical diagnosis.

If you're having difficulty getting consistent readings, it may help to ensure the device is positioned correctly and tightly on your finger, as this can impact the signal acquisition. If the issue persists, feel free to reach out with your user account number, and we will have our backend engineers investigate the problem further.

BTW,Regarding the blood glucose monitoring feature, please note that obtaining a result may take between 5 to 10 minutes. It's essential that the SLEEPON 3 app remains open throughout the entire test. If the app is closed or interrupted during this period, the test may not complete successfully.

We recommend trying the following steps to ensure the process works smoothly:

Ensure your device is properly connected to the app before testing.
Keep the app open during the entire 5-10 minute testing window.
Avoid any interruptions, such as app closures or phone sleep mode.

Sleep Recording Issues:
The sleep recording problem may be due to a time sync issue. If the tracker runs out of battery and then gets recharged, it resets the internal time, leading to inaccurate data recording. To prevent this, before starting your sleep monitoring, please reconnect the device to the app to sync the time. This should ensure accurate sleep data recording throughout the night.

If you continue to experience issues, kindly share your user account number with us and order details, and we will have our backend engineers take a closer look to resolve the issue.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.
