Staff were very friendly and the train was clean. The lights were dimmed on departure which made having a sleep easier. Several seats appeared to have been overbooked, including my own, which caused... See more

The train was good, staff good, wagon good, bed toilet/ douche good. Only, the breakfast was horrible.
The coffee was not drinkable, the waffel with liquide jam was not to eat in a train, because it goes next to the waffel, on the Floor, on the bed. Why don’t you give Bread with cheese and ham, so you can eat normally. For that price, isn’t it good.

Journey so rough try and get a night's sleep in a tiny cabin not room enough to swing a cat . Top bunk ni on impossible to get into. Water had run out by morning. Breakfast slop in a box delivered to cabin. Club class my backside

Very easy to board the train at Euston and the sleepers are very comfortable with the option of breakfast in bed.
Personally, I would prefer a slightly later arrival (and breakfast) time.

It was warm and comfy had a good sleep staff were good nothing to. Much for them would use again

Worth travelling on the sleeper for the experience but the room was very cramped for two people and luggage. And you are lucky to get a seat in the club car for an evening meal or drink .

we enjoyed the reception at the lounge, the smooth boarding, the kind and attentive service in the Club Car and the wonderfl views at breakfast. we found the train a bit noisy and shaky, so we could not sleep very well.

Wonderful
The sleeper is great - I loved it. The lounge carriage is good. The staff very helpful and facilities adequate. Not a lot of room in the cabins so tall, larger, not so mobile people might find it a bit of an issue. I would go again :-)

Everything about this experience was great. All the staff were fantastic and super helpful ( i had just had a hip replacement op so needed a lot of assistance). My dogs were welcomed and offered water. The food and drink I had was delicious. The cabin was spotless. Best of all, I didn't lose a day travelling from Inverness to London. I would book again in a heartbeat. Thanks to all

Sadly I missed the sleeper because of a delay on my train from Southampton to London. So a very dissatisfying trip but not your fault.

Comfortable, (if very small), bed. Nice quality bedding. Tiny bed space - very 'functional'. No staff available to answer queries when joining London-Fort William train at Crewe just before midnight. Confusing written information in 'room' and on website about ordering food from a Classic Room. We did not want to pre-order breakfast to eat in our classic 'room' as we felt there was such little space and facility to do so. We understood from the information we had read that we could instead purchase food in the Club Car later. This proved not to be the case and there was no food available to purchase there. This seemed extremely disappointing & poor service from Calaedonian Sleeper and we were very unhappy at having to go without any food at all until we could purchase something after leaving the train at Fort William after 10.am. We believe the information about refreshments from CS was very unhelpfully ambiguous. We will not rush to repeat the journey.

Dont understand why this is called a "Sleeper" train as its impossible to get any sleep!! it is just way too noisy and the train does an awful lot of swaying and rocking about which, combined, seriously affects the ability to actually sleep.
Plus the so-called "Scottish Breakfast" was an absolute disgrace and would never in this world receive any culinary awards. It was served to my cabin in a cardboard box within a paper bag!!, and was almost inedible it was so poorly presented and cooked.
Trying to actually eat this appology for a breakfast sat on the edge of an extremely narrow bunk with nowhere to put things down and nowhere to even put the coffee was, quite frankly, one of my worst experiences of 'breakfast' ever.
Be advised, the Caledonian Sleeper looks a very inviting and modern train to travel on, but the reality is that you may well struggle get any sleep at all and forget the breakfast!
In hindsight, I might well have saved some money and just purchased a 'seat' and not a cabin as I may have managed to actually get 'some' sleep.

I had the best trip. At first, I thought it was pricey, but seeing all the amenities, the quality of the beds and linen and the service. Then I think it is completely worth it

Cosy comfortable berth with nice bedding and a choice of breakfast in the morning, delivered to the door.

We stayed in a Caledonian double room. Very helpful and kind staff, the service was amazing. Had lovely food in the club bar and the shower in the room was pretty decent for one that’s on a train! Only a personal issue, but the sleep itself wasn’t great! Loud at times and very rocky but I have slept in more uncomfortable conditions and the bed itself was very cosy and if not on a moving train, I would have slept like a baby! Everything else was good. And the little supplies and treats in the room were a nice touch
