The Sleep Doctor sight automatically signs you up for recurring deliveries of the same item

The Sleep Doctor sight automatically turns a request for a single purchase into a subscription to have the item delivered every 3 months. This was not apparent in the order, and the only way to cancel the "subscription" is to go to their website, wade through explanations, contact them twice, and finally get relief. They did reverse the sneaky "subscription," but this is clearly a racket. There should be a simple way to order a single time without invoking a subscription. If the company wants to put an additional question on the website about extending the order into a "subscription" it should be clearly marked, and not an automatic check or an opt out. Finally, the method for canceling a "subscription" should be simple and not hidden behind mounds of verbiage and multiple emails.

To clarify, subscriptions are not created manually by our team on the backend—they are selected at the time of checkout. On our website there are two options available: a one-time purchase or a “Subscribe & Save” option, which includes a 15% discount for recurring deliveries.

In your case, the subscription was created through the initial order selection at checkout. Once we were contacted, we did respond to your inquiry and processed your request to reverse and remove the subscription as requested.

They don't care, just trying to profit as much as possible

Flat out, just don't use this company. It's all for profit system with no real customer support. There's cheaper and better places to get sleep testing and cpap equipment. Everything they do is restrictive such as not giving scripts out.

DON’T SPEND THOUSANDS LIKE I DID

I SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON MACHINE AND EQUIPMENT THAT I CANNOT USE WORK WITH SOMEONE LOCALLY . They already admitted in an email that I haven’t turned my machine on because I can’t use. !!
THEY SAID THEY’VE GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP ME WELL YOU SHOULD WHEN SOMEONE IS SPENDING THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY ! They are ignoring my request for return of the UNUSED machine.. I’ve already paid out $300 for various masks and tubes that do not work and are flimsy..THE MASKS COLLAPSE ALLOWING AIR TO ESCAPE SO YOU CANNOT USE THE EQUIPMENT. FIND SOMEONE LOCAL.!

They are also really hard to work with when you have a problem with your machine they control the adjustments.
I would not work with an online sleep specialist ever again.
THE FACT THAT THIS ORGANIZATION ADMITTED IN AN EMAIL THAT I HAVE NOT USED THE EQUIPMENT AND THEN THEY PUT A REVIEW BELOW, SAYING THAT THEY DON’T RETURN MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IS BALONEY. I’ll say it again.
WORK WITH SOMEONE LOCAL BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT DO THIS TO YOU AFTER YOU’VE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!
I have spent thousands of dollars and I can’t use THEIR machine because I can’t find a mask that works for a side sleeper!!
Work with someone local!!

Unfortunately, without that information, we’re unable to properly troubleshoot or resolve the concerns raised.

As part of our efforts to support you, we’ve already gone beyond our standard policy by offering an exchange on a previously used machine, which is typically non-returnable. We also provided a refund for the price difference between devices as a courtesy to help find a workable solution. At this time, we are unable to provide additional exceptions outside of our return policy.

Regarding your concerns with mask quality, the products we provide are sourced directly from leading manufacturers such as ResMed, Fisher & Paykel, and Philips, and we are an authorized dealer. While we understand your feedback, these are not Sleep Doctor–manufactured items, and all products meet the manufacturers’ quality standards. Mask fit and comfort can vary by individual, which is why we’ve offered multiple options and continued support. The masks provided are universal to the machine, so connectivity should not be an issue.

In terms of machine settings, these are prescribed and managed by a licensed provider based on clinical needs. If your concern is related to pressure or therapy settings, we are absolutely able to assist and facilitate adjustments remotely—we just need more specific information to do so.

We also want to note that effective troubleshooting depends on consistent use of the equipment along with clear feedback on what is not working. Without that, it becomes difficult to accurately identify or resolve the issue.

While we understand that adjusting to therapy can take time, our primary concern remains on your health. Consistent therapy can make a meaningful difference in overall well-being, including energy levels, mood, and long-term health. We remain committed to supporting you where possible and would welcome the opportunity to continue working toward a solution.

Sleep Doctor stands by its recommendations!

I ordered a CPAP machine and chose a nasal pillow based on several recommendations based on the results of my sleep study. Unfortunately the nasal pillow didn't work due to unpredictable congestion issues. I was offered a credit for the full price of the nasal pillow and applied it towards the cost of a compact face mask.

Insomnia

It covers many issues regards to sleeping. I had much interest in insomnia which is a major problem I have had for a while at 70 years old. It has helped at so level but I feel medication is the main cause.

Warranty is a nightmare

My machine which I payed $1,200 for has stopped working at around 6 months of use. They are saying the warranty replacement period can take 4 weeks with no loaner in the meantime. Mind you this is an important medical device. Also to send the machine in for inspection requires a return label which I haven’t recieved for over two weeks. I’ve reached out to check up on this to no response. Very poor customer service and communication and poor sense of urgency taking care of a warranty claim for customers.

On Tuesday, 2/17, we spoke with you and provided all necessary instructions for sending your machine back for warranty evaluation, including the return label.

As we explained, under ResMed’s warranty process, the machine must first be received and processed to determine the issue and whether it can be repaired or replaced. Each situation is different, which is why timelines can vary. The four-week period is a standard guideline from ResMed — it is not a guaranteed repair or delivery time, but an estimate.

We are eager to assist you as soon as your machine is received and processed. We truly understand how important your CPAP device is, and we remain committed to supporting you throughout this warranty process.

Fantastic support team

Fantastic support team! I had issues completing my first test (my own errors not product related) and the team had another shipped immediately. The days review was thorough and very helpful. I highly recommend sleep doctor products and their team of professionals.

Sleep Doctor is awesome

I've spoken with 2 customer service associates, and they were BOTH extremely great!! They answered all my questions and were both very friendly and knowledgeable.

The only feedback I have is about the multiple calls I rec'd on 1/16 from the AI assistant Ashley. I didn't answer the 1st call, but did answer the 2nd one, and answered the questions. However, I rec'd 2 more calls later, and it was the same message on all 4 calls

Are you in search of better sleep?

After I began waking myself gasping for air, I decided it was time for a sleep study to search for answers. I researched and found great reviews for Sleep Doctor. I completed the intake and ordered the test. The shipping was free and fast. The test was simple to set up and the instructions were easy to understand. My results were ready within 24 hours, and I had a consult with a Sleep Doctor physician within days. He reviewed my results thoroughly so that they were easy to understand, answered my questions, and put my worries at ease. He recommended a treatment plan to follow, which I have chosen to follow, and am just waiting on the products to be delivered. I am so glad I took that initial step of contacting Sleep Doctor on my journey to better sleep and hopefully a better quality of life. It has been an awesome experience so far, and I look forward to continuing to working with them throughout this journey to better sleep. I’ve even ordered a test for my husband. I cannot give enough compliments to express my appreciation! I highly recommend Sleep Doctor!
