I placed an order weeks and weeks ago…

I placed an order weeks and weeks ago and still no delivery or even any follow up customer communication to say what the issue is. Will never use again or recommend. Based on my experience, I would avoid.

Appreciate the response below but will
never order or recommend this site. Substantial delay information on ordering was not advertised or I would not have ordered. Customer contact with information on the delay was never provided and a cancellation of order with refund given the lengthy delay was not apparently an option. Similar products available on many other sites, my advice is to shop elsewhere.

Do not buy from this company!!!

If this is not a scam, then it is an awful company…
Ordered the goods on 29th September - information about shipping - 3-5 days
After one week - no info so I reached the support. They said they will have the goods in two weeks and then they will send the order.
After two weeks nothing - so I reached them again. They replied that some of the goods were on pre order, which was not true at the time of my order three weeks earlier and said that they will get the goods in November.
I asked them to cancel my order, because I didn’t want to wait two or more months for my order. They didn’t address my request, just provided plain information…
Then of course silence so I reached them again.
On the 7th of November they responded that they referred the issue to the account team and a refund will be issued accordingly…
After one week nothing - I reached them again- they replied that refund might take up to 14 days…
Guess what? After 14 days nothing - I reached them again - response - system does not show any returns …returns of what? Goods I didn’t receive???
That’s all by now. I will update, if I got my money back.
Update - 10th of December - more than a week ago(on the 28th of November) I received the information that my refund is being processed and that the refund should be with me in few days. Guess what? Nothing. Their answer from 9th of December - they will update me when they will have more information. After 2 months of emailing with their support team… I will update again and again until they resolve this!

Regrettably, the date on our website which had initially been advised for the arrival of this stock did require amendment as a result of an unexpected shipping delay once the stock had left our suppliers. This was a matter entirely outside of our control and that could not have been foreseen, so we can only apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Following the arrival of our stock this week, all orders will be with couriers by Friday and with customers this side of Christmas.

Poor customer support

I can't recommend purchasing with Slantboard because of their poor contact response times and lack of clarity regarding the returns process. I sent a parcel back to an address of their choosing with Parcelforce and offered the tracking reference to confirm it was delivered. Delivery was confirmed (via Parcelforce) on the 24th of August but it took them 25 days (later) to state that they hadn't received it. Slantboard stated they required an exact location within the depot (returns address site) and images of GPS data to verify the parcel's location, but I am not aware of a single courier that can provide information of that granularity. When I initiated contact to begin the return process, Slantboard never confirmed GPS data was requisite to confirm receipt of delivery, and didn't recommend a courier that could fulfil their needs.
If you are considering purchasing with Slantboard, please take heed of this experience and other customer reviews posted earlier.

If you need to make a return, you would be better off going straight to their registered address in person with the package/parcel.

You can only contact their customer support via email and even then it can take up to 7 days to gain a response; in that time, I could have travelled to Manchester myself to make enquiries at the returns address.

I can see that, upon your initial request, your return was authorised promptly by our team. Within their authorisation email, you were sent our returns form, along with details on where to send the item back to. It was stressed that the cost of the return was your responsibility and also that we recommended using a tracked and signed service.

Upon receipt of a return, our team check, process and refund it within 14 days. To date, your item has not reached us and, therefore, this process has not yet been undertaken.

You made contact with us within the 14 day period, however at this point, the fact that our systems did not yet reflect your return was not unusual as it could still have been awaiting processing. It was only after this period had passed that the team advised the item could not be in our possession on the basis that its refund remained outstanding.

As previously communicated to you, we require details from your couriers about when, where and to who this delivery was made. We can then work with you in an attempt to locate or recover the item, such that a refund can be issued,

Awful company

Awful company, avoid like the plague: ordered a slant board paying for next day delivery. Didn’t arrive. There is no customer service telephone only a web chat that takes anywhere from several minutes to 24 hours to get a reply from. Rather than apologise, send a replacement item and refund the next day delivery charge they have just said …’forwarded this to the warehouse’ and ignored further emails. Have reported via PayPal to get a refund as this company are complete shisters and trying to keep me money despite not actually delivering the item I bought. Avoid them at all costs.

Having taken a look into your situation, I can see that all correspondence received from yourself was responded to quickly.

As we explained to you, your order had been sent with DHL and was showing on their systems as "delayed". We needed to reach out to DHL to establish what had happened, as often, under such circumstances, items reach you faster when the couriers to rectify any issues that have arisen with a parcel under their control, than for us to sent a replacement.

We did just this and DHL advised us that the item had been mis-sorted at their National Hub and subsequently sent to the wrong delivering depot. Upon realisation of this, they resolved the matter and the parcel was delivered to you successfully the following day.

LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND GIVE SLANTBOARD A WIDE BERTH!!

Bought a reverse treadmill (1.9.24) and EXACTLY SAME AWFUL EXPERIENCE AS OTHER REVIEWER - it does not offer any meaningful resistance. They replied to refund request telling me to adjust it, which I tried but it's still pathetic. They REFUSE TO REFUND. Next step ombudsman + Advertising Standards Authority + small claims court. Learn from me.. AVOID SLANTBOARD LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I work in Rehabilitation and Manual Medicine and am warning all patients and colleagues.

Recently purchased the reverse…

Recently purchased the reverse treadmill and resistance is not working what so ever . I've sent email see if they can sort it . See weather it's just a mechanical problem. But no resistance setting don't work.

Once they have sorted will change the star rating I also have fitness you tube so will pit my review on there .But you have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Hopefully I will be able to sort out the faulty reverse treadmill .

But for anyone going for refunds and becoming stressed see below.

You should ask for your money back using 'chargeback' if you:

paid with a debit card or charge card

paid with a credit card and you can't use Section 75

If you paid through Buy Now Pay Later, you can still ask for chargeback but your credit or debit card provider might not agree to do it.

If you can’t get through to the retailer, you should check the terms and conditions of your Buy Now Pay Later provider to see if they can help.

DO NOT purchase from this outfit.

DO NOT engage with this so called company. Ordered a reverse treadmill, tried to cancel within hours but the purchase was apparently processed already beyond being able to cancel. Retuned the item un-opened with full Parcel Force tracking, proof of delivery and they outright refuse to refund me saying they don’t have the item, parcel force must have left on their truck, they have no cctv to prove it was delivered and so on.
They are taking zero responsibility leaving me with no refund.
This is a shambles of a company.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SLANT BOARD. I left a negative review on their website for the Reverse Treadmill, and yet only the 1 review shows on their website which is "anonymous" and 5 stars. Deliberately misleading customers into thinking the product is of high quality when it is absolute cheap rubbish. I wished I had done more research and found this website before I had purchased to save my money.
Edit: The response from Slant Board claims they cannot find any correspondence from me regarding the issues I had with the reverse treadmill. I used the webchat feature twice to speak with someone about the issues I was having with the product. Also, the reviews being controlled by an external platform, I would suggest looking into said platform about the issues, because if you try to click on the link to the review platform it comes back with an error message. Either the platform you are using is faulty, and not displaying the negative reviews, or it has been deliberately set up to ignore the negative reviews, eitherway, it is misleading customers into thinking this product is better than it actually is. Looking at the overwhelming number of negative experiences on trustpilot about Slantboard, and how none of those negative experiences are being displayed on their website, would suggest that Slant Board are the issue. So I re-iterate my point, do not buy anything from Slant Board as their website is conveniently not telling the whole story

Overpriced junk from China.

Overpriced junk from China, the foam isn't very thick, eventually the glue comes off and so does the foam handle. The bar size is actually too large so your feet slip out.

They buy it in from China for about £15.

Don't waste your time.

Regardless, from the content of your review, we believe you are referring to our Tib Bar.

The foam used on our Tib Bars is some of the thickest on the market. It is not glued onto the metal frame of the bar to allow for user specific adjustments but is extremely tight fitting and should not move unless attempted forcibly.

We have designed this product in house and have a design registration on it. It fits all shapes and sizes of feet and is manufactured from very high quality materials for a premium finish, placing it well above cheaper imitation products available on the market.

I have bought a slant board from here

I have bought a slant board from here, and I wish I had checked Trustpilot before. The comments on their website are mostly fake and they never publish 1-2 star reviews, only 5 stars, because I kept writing 1 star reviews but it never showed, so I know. The metal slant board which is foldable is totally and completely slippery. No way to use it. The product is very overpriced. I asked for a refund and customer service ignored my many emails, telling me it works as intended. Really horrible company.

We are sorry that you have encountered difficulties with our adjustable metal slant board. The metal slant boards surface is manufactured from a textured chequer plate to provide optimal underfoot grip, but we do always suggest using the product whilst wearing shoes with a rubberised sole to minimise any risk of movement.

We feel that the adjustable slant board offers very good value for money and is one of the cheapest products of its kind available. Despite this, it is still extremely high quality and can withstand weights of up to 300kg.

Would not recommend

I would not recommend this company or its products. The product I received was faulty. I contacted the company and found the company difficult to deal with. I had to argue forcefully via several communications for my statutory rights to be honoured in order to obtain a refund. This should not have been the case.

Reverse Treadmill - DO NOT BUY

I recently bought the reverse treadmill from SlantBoard and it is completely unusable. It has no meaningful resistance making it impossible to get a workout and blood flow to the legs.

If you are buying this to mimic reverse sled pull or follow the ATG/Kneesovertoesguy training, I would strongly encourage you not to buy.

I also asked SlantBoard for a refund but was informed that the product was performing as expected so was ineligible.

UPDATE: There is a reply from SlantBoard below saying that you can adjust the resistance to make it higher than is available out of the box and to email SlantBoard for instructions.... I had already contacted SlantBoard and was provided with instructions but the resistance of the treadmill was still incredibly low even after adjustment and not usuable to get a good workout for the legs. I wish SlantBoard all the best but I do not want people to waste their money on this product.

When developing this product, we wanted to ensure it was suitable for people of all abilities, from grandparents and those rehabilitating from an injury right through to elite athletes.

As such, at the lower end, we had to make sure that the resistance was not too high. In order to allow a wide range of resistance options, we developed this product with magnetic resistance technology, which can be tweaked by the user to increase it to a greater degree than is available out of the box if required.

Avoid the Reverse Treadmill…AWFUL Product!

Please avoid purchasing this cheap equipment…Excited to see that someone must have put some thought into the difference required between a reverse treadmill and normal one I ordered the product in November to replace by heavily diy’d Davina McCall treadmill that I picked up on gumtree for £50. After finally receiving the treadmill this week (April!) I put it up today only to find out that it is a standard treadmill with the slant board branding on it. In fact it’s an almost identical treadmill to my old one. No extra slope, no extra resistance and to make things worse it’s cheaply built and the band slips every now and then just to make things worse. Was planning on buying some more products from these guys but will give it a miss now. My advice would be to purchase a standard treadmill for half the price rather than one of these as you will be getting the same thing. Very disappointed after the long wait…could have been a great product if done correctly.

Edit: I am guessing by the fact that this company is now offering a Reverse Treadmill v2 they are admitting that they fraudulantly sold normal treadmill as reverse treadmill. Make a bit of a mockery of their reply below. I am assuming I will have my money refunded to me now they are admitting selling a sub standard product!

Rubbish product and customer service

What an absolutely terrible experience it has been dealing with this company. I ordered the reversed treadmill as it seemed a good product and an alternative to the backwards treadmill which is an American brand. However on receiving the item I found it to be a very cheaply made alternative. I let them know about the issues straight away and they gave me contradicting advise….to tighten bolts for one issue and loosens them for the other. On questioning this I have now not heard from them in a week. They were all too quick to respond while I considered buying the product. I would have bought other products from them but not a chance now. Complete waste of money. Avoid like the plaque.

UPDATE- the company flagged my review as containing harmful or illegal content in an attempt to have my review removed. Clearly they are trying everything they can to silence their customers…perhaps they should look at providing actual refunds and some level of customer service in order to stop getting bad reviews….clearly lots of people are having a similar experience!

However, upon further investigation, it was determined that it was in fact the tiled floor upon which you had positioned the product which was uneven, not the frame which was bent.

Recommend not to buy for delivery to Europe

Terrible experience when buying for delivery to Europe. Even though the website slickly switches to a euro price when you give a European address, they do not make it obvious that you will have to pay the customs duty for the item to come into your home country in Europe. But you will have to pay this (and also any additional charge which the delivery company adds for handling this - this is in their small print when you click "shipping terms" but no more). And also the price in € is approx the same at the price in pounds (which makes no sense when you consider that they will not be paying any VAT on the items but still require the buyer to pay the European VAT upon import (and that VAT will be based on the higher price so a double whammy of hidden cost). And, from my experience, even after all this additional expense, they cannot be trusted to get the goods to you in a reasonable time. The website says delivery will be in 3-5 working days. It is now 17 days since I placed my order and the delivery system says the goods only left the UK yesterday. And they use DPD for European deliveries (and look what Trustpilot says about them as a delivery company). They may be a great company with great products but I would recommend only buying if you are based in the UK.

Since the UK left the EU, shipments over a certain value attract customs duties and taxes, at varying rates, depending on the final delivery destination. We do try to make this as clear as possible within the shipping information section on our website.

We understand that these additional fees can be frustrating, however they are entirely outside of our control and are paid directly to our couriers, who in turn pass them onto the relevant customs authorities.

To offset these fees, we do operate different pricing within Europe, with our prices here around 20% below the equivalent price in the UK. As such, please rest assured that, overall, the price you are paying for our products is largely the same regardless of where you are located.
