SkyStudio is now a foundational fixture in the story of my musical life. Without the guidance, vision and technical execution of Phil, I'd still be toiling away without a compass.

Phil runs an exceptional operation at SkyStudio. Not only did he plan out an amazing space with all the right equipment, Phil has brought my music to life. His interpersonal communication is excellent, and we’ve been able to establish a fantastic professional relationship based on mutual goals and understanding.

It’s a great place to record, mix, and master your music. Additionally, it’s a cool place to discuss your music productions and live music recording projects.

Philipp Conrad of Sky Studio Wien mastered my new album and I am very happy with his work.

Philipp took my mixes to the next level without comprising my artistic vision. In most instances he nailed the masters first time around. Only a handful of very minor revisions were needed and those were done quickly.

For an independent artist like me, releasing an album can be a stressful experience. Philipp was very professional and communicative and made the mastering process a breeze.

I'm a visual artist and I came to Phil to engineer a voiceover for a video installation. As with all of my productions, I rely on people who can understand the sensibility of a project, what the content of the artwork calls for - not what they necessarily think is "correct" or standard convention - and certainly not at the service of their ego. It requires a particular sensitivity that I value a lot. Phil has that. Plus, he was very easy to communicate with. I can recommend him and Sky Studio without reservation.

I was a total newcomer when I first came to SkyStudio. My goal was to gather experience in a professional studio and see what’s possible in terms of music production, recording and mixing. Phil recorded my vocals several times and also mixed/mastered a couple of my own tracks, as well as songs that we created together. Phil is a skilled engineer with an extraordinary hearing capacity. Also, his creative mind and inventive ideas helped me to bring my musical ideas to life. Phil’s style of work is efficient, collaborative and emphasizes the joy of creating music while maintaining a highly professional, yet cozy atmosphere. His network of people includes amazing musicians and is a great place to kickstart collaborations if desired. Working with Phil has been highly encouraging and informative. His patience, precision and knowledge of the high-end equipment, that SkyStudio provides, has certainly helped me immensely, not only to bring my musical possibilities to the next level, but also to grow and find my voice as an artist.

Phil made my experience great by having a great ear. Phil was patient, listened to what we wanted and made it happen almost like magic. 10/10 will work with them again!

Recording at Sky Studios has been a dream. Philipp is always skilled, so encouraging, and with an ear sound that is very refined. He also is a phenomenal arranger of songs, with great ideas to share, but at the same time quite into encouraging us as the artists to create the sound we are looking for. I’ve worked on an 7 song e.p. at sky, as well as two fast turnarounds for a tv soundtrack of original songs. He also has wonderful musicians he collaborates with if more orchestration is needed. This is by far my best recording studio experience after 30 years of making records. I highly recommend Sky Studios and Philipp Conrad!

In Skystudio, you feel like home. Phil is with you every step of the way and you will have fun with him in the process too. Your vision as an artist is super important for him and he will do everything in his power that you get the result you are looking for.
