Shark Attack paid for film complaint…
We just paid to rent and watch 'Shark Attack'. This film is so bad it is actually unwatchable.After realising how bad it was we had it on in the background and played scrabble instead. The acting was awful and the plot was a disgrace. I cannot believe you are making people pay for this rubbish and I demand a refund. I would have given no stars as a review on this occassion but you only allow a minimum of 1 star to allow an opinion to be written on this site.

What has happened to Sky movies. I'm paying for movies that are only being shown 23 hours a day. For instance 'Mrs Daisy goes to Paris'.... surely you can show it 24 hours a day? I'm sure there's something I missed!

Sky Store Scam Approved by their Managers
Received by email today, a free movie offer as a Sky VIP customer. Clicked on the "Claim now" button. Taken to a screen showing circa 30 films in the offer. Clicking on any led to a pay screen with no VIP offer code. Rang Sky Store customer service. Sent photo evidence of offer. Their management said that their offers always included a code. They could do nothing! So Sky reneges on the offer it sends out. Scammers! Appalling company culture. I'm off when my contract ends.

I am what was called a sky pioneer from when Sky launched I have never watched as much crap in all my life talk about movie channels for kids are they going to play Harry Potter Movies for the next 25 years because I seem to remember going to the cinema 20 plus years ago and it seems to be playing daily every movie is repeated until every time you go to watch something it’s another repeat or a kids film total crap it’s not even funny anymore for £70 a month to keep getting films that have got past there sell by date

Bait and switch. Used to be able to rent things through NowTV, now have to use Sky Store App. It implies you can rent movies and watch via TV or NowTV - you can't - only works on a mobile phone. Have tried all the options and nothing works except the phone. This is what some people might call a fraud.
Stuck in the past with outdated technology and limited functionality
Use this to buy older movies on sale. Can only watch them on my phone or laptop though. Can’t get it on the TV through apps, screen sharing or the sky app via Xbox. Sky really need to up their game and get into the 21st century. Such a big name stuck in the past. Soon to be extinct if they don’t change

What a pathetic joke of a company this is. I tired to rent a movie and when you select 'rent' it takes you to a page to buy. I contact their live chat and was told you can only rent?!?!. Numerous times I say I know, that's my issue. But nope, clearly they don't understand the English language. They also don't understand their own website since you can also buy. How embarrassing

Went to sky store.com to rent a film as it wouldnt allow it on the sky box, only to find out I could only watch it on my phone. Didn't appear on my sky box and wouldn't allow screen share. What a disgraceful service, complete rip off.

I made the mistake of buying a dvd with vouchers I had for sky store. 1 month on and multiple contacts with sky has resulted in no dvd and no refund. Refuse to call their premium rate number, call will likely cost more than going out and buying the dvd. Stuck in a loop of being asked the same security questions then no reply. Just a half baked apology and empty promises to look into it. Poor show sky! Avoid disappointment. After seeing other reviews on here seems to be a common theme pay for goods you never receive.

If I could give this less than 1 star I would. Do not rent a movie from the website! If you've enjoyed having sky at home on your TV then you're used to a certain quality, HD+ in most cases, you'd think if you rented a copy of a film for 48hours from the SKY Store website you'll be able to watch it on your SKY Q box, at home on your TV, but NO you have to watch it on your phone or your computer or wherever you accessed the website from and in SD quality! What a load of crock. DO NOT RENT MOVIES FROM THIS WEBSITE or the APP!
The movies are cut, waste of money
Bought a movie that was an 18 cert but when I started to watch the movie I found it was heavily cut! The movie I paid for seemed to be the 15 cert version even though Sky always say the movies are all uncut. RUBBISH!! Sky wouldn’t even let me return it. Buy the Blu-ray instead as the movie won’t be cut to meet Sky standards

I've used the service a few times but…
I've used the service a few times but only where I've had store credit to use up. Overall the library is good and it is easy to find what you're looking for. The others aren't all that but similar pricing across its competition.
The Roku app is pretty basic and not all films have subtitles. Prices for some rentals are eye-watering, particularly for new films, but then I think across this rental business everything is similarly priced.
More films need subtitles, streaming has been rock solid for me. Some titles are not really available here so often my credit just remains unused.
Buy & Keep is a good idea, though if you search online you might be able to get a disc at the fraction of the price - so do your research and use Google to compare prices from other vendors. The same goes for just streaming too.

I have to say Sky manages to 'churn…
I have to say Sky manages to 'churn out' so called 'Hollywood blockbusters' that do not appeal to me one bit, what Sky Store lacks is classic films, when a film was a film and not a 'movie', there are loads of British films that are available on Amazon Prime but Sky have really failed to pick on a particular audience. I've got £20+ credit in my account but when I browse Skys offering its just rubbish.

Awful system. I had credit yo rent witch's. Which can only be used on my phone. I rent it only to find that I cannot wat h it on the box, not only this, but the sky store blocked my phone from mirroring on the TV. Absolutely fuming and disgusted at this service. Waste on my credit and my kids cant even watch ot now. Cant expect 2 little kids to share a phone ffs. Sort it out.
