An excellent adventure. If you’re considering it, just do it, you won’t regret it. Pack minimally, get used to wearing wet clothes and not brushing your hair, make the most of porcelain loos, don’t... See more

I have recently taken part in gran Paradiso hiking and I can't recommend it enough. Starting for the local guide Marco, amazing leading us through mountains and valleys. The tour is just stunning, every section is different from the previous. The hike is doable but some challenging section which make you push yourself
For me had everything; so definitely recommend it

I loved it! Our leader Geoff made it all nice and smooth so one can really enjoy the challenge. We had nice comforting meals to look for at the end of the day cooked by Geoff even for vegetarian wich was very kind.
The lights and landscapes are beautiful and we had a lot of laughs thanks to a very friendly ambiance.
Thank you

It exceeded all my expectations to be fair. Our guide, Sally Wright from Alps Adventures, was enthusiastic, funny, interesting, patient and caring. I felt like she was really part of the team. The views were insane, food and accommodation were 1st class and the hiking was challenging in places. As a trip, it was the whole package. The people I met on this trip were incredible and I felt lucky to have met and shared this adventure with them.
Skyhook made the whole booking process seamless. I have used Skyhook multiple times and will continue to do so.

To celebrate my 56th birthday this year, I wanted to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge.
I decided to book with Skyhook Adventures as It had good reviews and website.
Booking was straightforward and the price reasonable.
Communication was first class from start to finish.
We had a group of 9 plus our mountain leader Richard.
Richard, made it clear, that we would be on the clock throughout the 24 hour challenge, thankfully, our group, respected this which ultimately led to 6 of us completing it.
I would recommend the challenge, my only advice, is be prepared to suffer, and you'll get through.

Well organised trip through Skyhook. From the booking process through to managing the trip and follow up messages I have zero complaints. You can trust in the service they provide.

Our guide Geoff was fantastic - relaxed, cheerful, informative giving paddling/steering guidance as needed. Great food, tasty and plenty of it. Great company courtesy of my 7 canoe buddies, we worked well as a team to get tasks done efficiently. Very lucky with the weather but sadly couldn't complete the last 6k due to force 7 winds. 1 set of paddling gear for the week does work -a learning point for me. Good2Go lived up to its name. Great company.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An adventure I will never forget
We had the most amazing leaders for this adventure, Chucky & Pete. From the very beginning, I felt completely safe in their hands. Their knowledge, experience, encouragement and enthusiasm were incredible, and they somehow managed to keep us going even when we were questioning our life choices! 😂
I also met the most amazing group of people — 10 wonderful strangers who very quickly became a team, with person number 11 being my best friend, who came along with me. The camaraderie, encouragement, uplifting spirit and genuine care we showed for each other was something really special. Everyone looked out for everyone, and that made such a difference.
Now for the honest bit… this adventure is not easy! There will probably be a point — possibly every night! — when you’ll wonder why on earth you ever signed up, question your sanity and think you’d quite happily go home. 😂 And yes, there were definitely moments when I wondered what I had done!
But stick with it. It is SO worth it.
The sense of pride I feel in myself now is huge. I discovered strength in myself that I honestly didn’t know I had, pushed myself further than I thought possible and experienced a peacefulness that is difficult to put into words.
I can honestly say I had the best of times and the worst of times, sometimes within the same day! But I’ve come away from this adventure with something incredibly special — an overwhelming feeling of happiness, calm, achievement and gratitude.
The memories, the people, the challenges, the laughter and the peaceful moments will stay with me forever.
Would I do it again? Ask me after my muscles have forgiven me! 😂❤️
But for now… absolutely 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was a solo female traveler, joined another couple on the trip, it was a Fantastic trip , well organised, the lodge at Imlil was comfortable and clean , wonderful views of the mountains, we had a great guide Lahouceine, he was good at managing the Pace for the climb , lucky I didn’t get altitude sickness, the climb is rough going but manageable, and worth the views at the top, stunning. base camp is basic but clean , we were on low season and were early so I didn’t need to wait for the shower, beware the gray cat it looks friendly but will bite you if you don’t have food, everyone was friendly welcoming and the food was really good , you won’t go hungry, and you can by water on way up and at base camp, An amazing few days if a little sore at the end well worth it

Great experience, good food and equipment. Will remember this for a long time. Good banter with the group. Safety always priority . Hard work with the portage and midgies relentless, so be prepared for that.

Excellent trip! The route was varied from the forest, meadows to rocky alpine ascents - incredible views of course! Our guide Marco had a passion for the mountains, planned regular breaks, accomodated individual paces & always knew the BEST spots for lunch! All the Refugio's were 10/10!

I was in charge of organising a team event and well this is what I picked! 3 peaks 24hours. I choose Skyhook as they were the most reasonable priced inc accommodation in Fort William. From start to finish communication was excellent, easy to get hold of and questions answered. We had 4 other people which added to the experience - it was a real mix and it’s amazing what you can learn in a short period of time! Our driver, Steve, was an absolute legend - never a dull moment. Protect that man at all costs! Richard, our guide, quite literally set the tone for the 24hours with his enthusiasm, putting as all at ease while answering the same questions multiple times all with a smile on his face. A lovely person to be in the company of who absolutely wanted for us all to achieve the 24hours.
Skyhook provided the right service with the right people. Would highly recommend and would absolutely join future trips with the company 😁

A fabulous couple of trips within a month both in the Alps . But 2totally different experiences . Tour mount Blanc offering more hiking huts more rustic but very welcoming and an absolute fabulous adventure. Matterhorn highlights was an emotional rollercoaster for me as I love Matterhorn. Charles is very passionate about the Alps and Nature and made this trip extra special with his ability to connect with the very nature around us. The huts were fabulous and the food amazing I had vegetarian every night and was not disappointed. One hut showers were rustic but what I expected of all of them before trip. The rest were better than expected.
Would I book again ABSOLUTELY.
JUST DO IT !

A Tale of Two Experiences: Breathtaking Scenery Meets a Difficult Guide on the Tour du Mont BlancIf you are looking at booking a condensed 4-day Tour du Mont Blanc highlights trek, be prepared for a journey of contrasts. The landscape itself is nothing short of legendary—towering alpine peaks, sweeping glacial valleys, and picture-postcard meadows across France, Italy, and Switzerland. Unfortunately, the human element of our specific group tour left a lot to be desired. The High PointsThere is no denying the magic of the trail. The physical challenge of tackling the mountain passes is entirely rewarded by the views, and the fellow travelers in our group were genuinely top-notch. Sharing camp stories, pushing through the tougher ascents together, and soaking in the alpine atmosphere created a strong bond among the participants. Everyone looked out for one another, making the group dynamic off-trail a real highlight. The Low PointsSadly, the leadership cast a shadow over the four days. A mountain guide can make or break an expedition, and ours unfortunately chose to play favorites while displaying a persistently poor mood. Worse still, behavior toward certain group members crossed the line into outright bullying. On a strenuous trek where morale and teamwork are vital for safety and enjoyment, an exclusionary or hostile attitude from the person in charge creates an uncomfortable, tense atmosphere. Constant favoritism and a gloomy disposition made what should have been an inspiring team milestone feel awkward and stressful.Final VerdictThe Tour du Mont Blanc highlights route is a bucket-list adventure that delivers on every visual promise. However, the quality of your experience heavily relies on the guide you are assigned. While the mountains and your fellow hikers will likely blow you away, hope for better leadership than what we experienced.

Organising the logistics for such a trip is not easy, balancing transport needs, accomodating the group when Fort William is fully booked many months ahead, and most importantly, the guides role in managing expectations in terms of ability for a group of walkers of unknown ability. Mountineerin Ltd did an excellent job particularly in the first two, but I'd strongly recommend to rebrand the challenge as a "weekend back to back 3 peak challenge" and eliminate the artificial time element that depends heavily on how quickly you drive between the mountains.
The alternative is to preselect participants, perhaps on experience of running 10k or half-marathon, which reflects the level of effort and fitness required to meet the 24h challenge. As a team, we were able to meet the 24h timeframe, but it would have been more enjoyable (and more inclusive) for everyone to take it a little slower... Rather than expect the guide to have to tell someone they were not fit enough, or were slowing down the group.
There's always scope for improvement, but overall I've given 5stars because the logistics were so smooth.... The guide did a really good job at setting expectations and setting pace.. and we got to the bottom of the 3rd mountain approx 24hrs after starting climbing the 1st mountain...
