Avoid buying a Skooza unless you have a lot of patience

This is an interesting product but I cant recommend you buy it due to issues right out of the box, poor quality service and lack of response on warranty claims, and some manipulative marketing practices. Its run by a small company who has spent a great deal of time and effort to design something unique to sell at top dollar, only to have its supplier steal the design and undercut their pricing. The look and fun of this product is a solid 5. You cant argue with its fun factor and you will get a lot of looks. Support from the company is poor. They dont follow through, they dont return calls or e mails consistently. They ignore your call when you have been e mailing and they decide they dont want to help you. They dont honor warranty claims. And even worse, they suppress any review that is honest about these issues on their website which the FTC deems fraud.

Its a pretty unusual purchase and you have to be ready to deal with some of the common issues an electric scooter has, and the uncommon ones bad customer service gives you.
1) battery life is really hard to nail down. You may get three hours, you may get 1 depending on a lot of factors including weight, throttle position, and prob other factors like heat that impact the battery. I get about 15 miles if I dont full throttle it the whole time.
2) You will need to figure out how to work on it yourself if you have issues and source parts somewhere else since they are non responsive to warranty claims. If you choose to try and deal with them they make you schedule an appt with a tech, who may or may not call you on the time you signed up for. In my case I had to schedule twice, and then call in when they missed their call back to me. Brake pad changes and adjustments in particular because they use the wrong type of pads are common, along with failed power supplies. This is in just 3 months of ownership. Im getting concerned about the long haul.
3) Parts are not easily obtained outside Skooza or from them directly for that matter. Their site is always sold out. It took 3 follow ups from my side just to get parts promised from them on the tech call, and they only sent half of what they said they would. You can find this scooter and all its parts on alibaba for a lot less money so if you need parts start there.
Prepare for wear and tear items and buying what you need in advance, I dont think this company will make it for much longer considering the experience.
4) Expensive- its 4k shipped for one of these, far more than you see it being sold for under its foreign name "Amoto". They are supposed to be the only supplier of this product but their Chinese manufacturer is unscrupulous and will sell to anyone directly. Just check out Hangzhou Horeca Technology.

This is not a product for everyone, its very niche. But if you are in the market for the "Porsche of scooters" with no real customer service to be had and you can work on and source your own parts, look no further.
