Damaged alloys and company morale

Their response to a claim about damaged alloys:

"if you are familiar with EU law, then you probably know that warranty does not cover physical damage caused by the customer.

We have delivered a fault free product. Maybe you just dropped your brand new alloy on the floor, who knows."

Very disappointed in courier

The service seemed prompt, but the delivery is not. I received a text saying parts would arrive on the 28th, by the end of the day. Late that evening I was informed it would be Tuesday. The next day another email arrived saying they'd be here Friday (the previous day!). Neither the company nor the courier is responding to my emails.

Excessive postage costs and still waiting for parts to be delivered

I am in Australia and I buy a lot of automotive parts from EU and UK and most times if I order on my Monday Morning, I normally receive from Thursday afternoon to following Monday (which is the norm for Air) and reasonable postage. First time ordering from Skodaparts.com and now nearing two weeks without product. Charged 75 approx. pounds 5-7 Kilo package which appears they did not label correctly (no invoice on package) so as I write this review, checked with courier direct who confirmed postage was actually 33 pounds so the difference is pocketed under postage and shipping costs on invoice. Contrary to their claims on webpages keeping customers informed, they do not provide any communication or acknowledgement, so you only ever have a paypal receipt and never receive any updated emails on tracking etc. after paypal payment. Again I had to ask for my tracking information etc only I believe their actual prices for product are good but international buyers should be very careful with no communication and excessive postage claims as other suppliers whilst a few pound dearer will have acceptable postage costs. I write this review as I have to initiate all emails even to resolve their error in postage. Buyer Beware I guess and after hundreds of parts ordered from UK this is by far the worst experience and nearing two weeks with no end in sight. They certainly want your money from the but after that, customer services end.

Had to request refund from PayPal

Placed an order, waited a month for parts to arrive, no reply to emails, no communication or ANY status updates.
In the end raised dispute with PayPal (still waiting for final decision).

Great, very fast postage !

Bought from skodaparts.com and had a great experience. There were no reviews of the site, so was a bit sceptical to use it, but everything was great and my parts arrived well wrapped and very fast.
