I have been looking for quite some time for arts using mindfulness. When I spotted Skillshare (probably on someone's website) I thought I would take a look. After just a couple classes I knew I wanted to join and have access to all the classes that are offered. I hope you keep adding more.

While I was unable to find a variety of options in MidJourney, I’m enjoying the other classes so far.

One of the best learning platforms. There are so many courses there with very helpful teachers.

I signed up for Skillshare in 2020 when, like many people, I had more time at home and wanted to try something productive. At the time, the classes seemed good and I did find the platform interesting.
However, my experience with the company’s business practices has left me very unsettled. I lost access to the email connected to my account. I stopped using Skillshare and eventually forgot about the subscription. Even so, Skillshare continued auto-renewing and charging me for years.
What was especially frustrating was that the charges continued for so long, even though my card information should have changed over time. When I contacted customer service, the response felt more like someone simply following a policy than someone actually looking into the situation or escalating it in a meaningful way. I was told my membership would be cancelled and they’d offer a “free” membership, but after having had my card charged. What was free about that? If I basically paid for the membership already. On top of that they did not really address the issue, especially since my account was connected to an email I no longer had access to. In that sense, the offer felt less like a solution.
My main concern is not with the quality of the classes themselves, but with how difficult it can be to stop being charged once access to an account is lost. If a customer has not used the service for years and cannot access the original email, there should be a clear and simple way to cancel the subscription, and resolve the billing issue and not make the customer feel like they are getting something free that they just paid for.
Because of this experience, I would be very hesitant to use Skillshare again or recommend it to others. The courses may be useful, but the subscription and cancellation practices left me feeling taken advantage of as a customer.

The instructors are not only skilled artists but excellent teachers. The lessons were broken down into manageable sections

What I love about Skillshare is that you can do a short lesson, and still learn a lot from it. You can do it in your tempo, and when you have time. I do the french course now, and it helps me to learn faster. A good input for a teacher like me.

I've only been using Skillshare for a few days, but everything seems great so far!
Good classes, a wide choice and not too taxing in length.
One one of the videos I have watched thus far (1 of 3) the stating timing was incorrect, which wasn't great as I had planned around what was listed.
On the whole, it seems good.
The only point I find a little disconcerting, is that there is no pricing listed on the website (that I can find anywhere) One only finds out once signed-up to the free trial month!
That said, it obviously doesn't take away from what is available, but it would be nice to know before submitting information to sign up - as it may have changed my decision to do that... but, I guess that is the point of not showing the pricing!
