I had good experience with skills for security and the team. I would like to Thank Mike Walker he is an amazing tutor, he has been always there when I needed him for any support replaying to his emails rapidly and picking up the phone when I needed any support. He truly cared about the progression I was making. Always reassuring me that all the work I'm doing is great and not to worry about.
I would love to have Mike as my tutor again should I go for another apprenticeship.
I would like to say it has been a journey with Skills For Security and the team, Not to mention I’ve had several tutors over the 3 years and has been a bumpy ride over the duration of the course; however Richard has been the most helpful and caring about his students when it comes to teaching and will make the vital but confusing information easy to interpret.
My tutor Mike is the best in the business.
In the course that I completed, I had both my tutors and managers full support where they gave me the upmost confidence in my abilities. I was able to achieve a strong Distinction in all 3 parts of the assessment, gaining knowledge about my company and learned more about my skills, I couldn't do it without my tutor Mike. Big props to him! :)
Skills / Mike Walker did an incredible job!
This was my first experience taking on an apprentice through Skills for Security as part of our field technical team.
Passionate and dedicated providing a professional service resulting in a distinction for Taqi in his customer service L2.
I recently completed my Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship, during which I gained a great deal of knowledge and skills that I was able to apply directly in my role. During the apprenticeship, my role evolved, and I took on additional responsibilities. Alongside this, I was also working on my functional skills.
The support I received from my tutor, Sadie, was exceptional. She was always understanding and truly went above and beyond to ensure I had the right support. Sadie made everything easy to understand, breaking down complex concepts and providing guidance whenever I needed it. Her dedication to my success, combined with her patience and encouragement, made a huge difference and helped me stay on track throughout the apprenticeship.
I also received outstanding support from my English and Maths tutor, Mark. He provided clear and detailed explanations, ensuring I fully understood the material. Mark was patient and always made sure I felt confident in my abilities, offering extra support when needed and making learning accessible.
Thanks to the incredible support, understanding, and guidance from Sadie and Mark, I was able to successfully complete the course with distinction. Their unwavering commitment to my success is a key reason for my achievement.
I would highly recommend this apprenticeship to anyone considering it. The experience has been truly rewarding, and the support I received was second to none.

Had trouble with downloading the stuff required to take the exam in the first place, and the training material was not great and misleading in places, but the staff at skills for security were amazing, especially Tia who helped us get through all the problems. Thank you, it was much appreciated Tia!!

I completed my FESS Level 3 qualification through an apprenticeship with Skills for Security at 40 years old, proving that their courses aren't just for the young! The program was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The content was engaging, the instructors were knowledgeable, and the support throughout the apprenticeship was top-notch.
Whether you're just starting out or looking to upskill later in life, I highly recommend Skills for Security. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable qualifications at any age.

Having Skills for Security assist with job advertising through their platform has been fantastic as finding apprentices can be challenging.
I have worked closely with Shaun (Skills for Security's Talent Acquisition Manager), who has assisted me with any questions through the process.
This year we have taken on 3 new apprentices where as on previous years we have only managed to find 1 if lucky.

So far so good - we've successfully secured 2 apprentices to begin with us shortly and really look forward to introducing them to our industry. Shaun was very attentive, polite and kind. Understood my expectations and delivered.
Look forward to working with the Tutors next!
Nice one SFS.

Sadie Done was brilliant, helped our apprentice through the course. At first with Skills for security there were a few changes regarding the support - learning coaches kept being changed which was not good, but when Said was assigned this was great.
