A very decent tradesman willing and able to do any size job

I have used SJ Carpentry On a number of occasions and I have always been very impressed with both the company’s work ethic and wanting to complete every task to the highest standard. Always on time with clear direction on how he intends to complete the work and willing to discuss alternatives to ensure you get a finish that meets the customer’s requirements.

Simon replaced an internal job. It turned out to be more tricky than first hoped but Simon managed to find a solution and replace the door on the same day. Very happy with the results.

You may look at prices in comparison. However, going cheap doesn’t always mean better.
He doesn’t undercut, ‘bodge job it’ or leave you needing someone else to fix it. Worth every penny!

We hired simon to cut and fit new skirting boards and to replace the banister on the stairs. Material was high quality and low price and the finish was brilliant. He left no mess and cleaned everything up afterwards. Very professional, couldn't recommend enough. Will be contacting him again for any other carpentry we need.

We have used Simon on a few occasions most recently in October 22 from replacing floorboards and building shutters and a door on an external shed / bar. He is very clean and tidy and did a smashing job both times. His pricing is also very reasonable and i would highly recommend him for any job

We asked Simon for a quote to fit a new back door with a locks.
After giving us a quote which we thought sensible he came to do the job.
Simon is very professional in the way he works, polite and he cleans up after himself. This is important to us because we are in our seventies and we needed someone trustworthy and who treated our home and us with respect.
The door now fits perfectly and we have no draughts to worry about.
We will recommend him to our friends and family and certainly use his services again.
