A customer for over 5 years, delivery has always taken a long time, no tracking and then it will just turn up.
Which I had accepted,
But the customer service or lack of it is on another level, a payment was taken without authorisation then the messages sent back were full of spelling mistakes and didn’t make sense then the director daniel thinks they are correct in the messages.
I will no longer be ordering from them and will look elsewhere for my salt. They clearly do not need the money of repeat customers
And I have been threatened now by the director, unbelievable behaviour by someone.
I am glad not to be a customer anymore

I ordered salt on 24th December 2025. I took into account the Christmas period and assumed the company would be back in action on 5th January. I started to contact them in mid-January, and each time I called to check order progress, a message told me to email. Every one of my emails was ignored until finally I'd had enough and contacted my bank for a chargeback. Within days of doing this, without any notice, salt was left outside my house for any passerby to see. The next thing, I finally got an email, but it was threatening me with legal action if I didn't reverse the change back within 48 hours. We did order once before with this company, and from memory, it was all straightforward. I understand times are hard for us all and particularly for businesses, so I have to assume staff cuts here, but this is no way to treat customers and eventually may lead to no business. The person who sent the email sounded very stressed and sad. I feel sorry for him and hope he manages to reflect, calm down and get help for the sake of his health. Needless to say, he has lost my custom.

Final update – 13th Sept: What a surprise , The owner refuses responsibility, deflects blame, and exposes himself as both dishonest and inept. He lacks integrity, professionalism, and even basic decency. His company is a sham, and he himself is the clearest reason to stay far away.

Rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional – avoid at all costs
I had been a loyal customer for a long time, even though past orders were often delayed and I had to chase them for updates each time. I was patient and understanding — but clearly, they took advantage of that.
I placed an order on April 4th, during a “buy 3, get 1 free” offer. The order was delayed for over 3 months, and not once did they send an update or apology. Then, without any notice, they only sent half the order. There was no communication or explanation about why the order was incomplete or when the rest would arrive.
I contacted them to ask about it — politely at first — and received an incredibly rude and sarcastic reply. Instead of resolving the issue, they blamed me, said they didn’t want customers “with my attitude,” told me that leaving a review would be a “waste of time,” and cancelled the rest of my order out of spite.
The level of arrogance and lack of accountability was shocking. This is a business that does not value customer loyalty, does not take responsibility for its failures, and has zero professionalism when things go wrong.
There are plenty of other companies offering similar products — I strongly recommend you take your money elsewhere and avoid this one altogether.

I’ve been a customer for over 4 years. Deliveries have often been late, but never this unacceptable. My most recent order (#19004) was placed on 6th May and has now been outstanding for over 8 weeks with no delivery.
On 20th June, after chasing, I received an email saying the delay was due to high demand and a container issue, but that extra drivers had been added and outstanding orders were being prioritised. On 24th June, I asked Daniel (Managing Director) if that meant the order would definitely arrive by the end of that week. He replied: “Yes, it will be on the first routes as it’s late.” That was false.
Since then: no delivery and no refund — despite my clear request on 3rd July. I’ve now had to contact my credit card issuer to initiate a chargeback.
After years of loyalty, I feel completely let down. Repeated empty promises, no accountability and no product.
To make matters worse, Daniel responds to negative reviews by blaming everyone else — often accusing customers of lying, calling them keyboard warriors and refusing to take responsibility. Avoid this company.
Applied delivery service, noone replies to any messages. Nearly 4 weeks now and still nothing.
I don’t need to say more as your reviews says it all !!!

They are totally unreliable and Daniel is simply rude. Buy your salt elsewhere and let this company dissolve.

I give this review on behalf of my elderly in-laws who have been treated appallingly by Siwa Salt Direct which I assume must be his own company or he would have been sacked long ago.
Twice my in laws have used Siwa salt direct and on both occasions have been messed around dreadfully waiting and waiting for delivery despite many promises that were never kept. All they could get from themwas rudeness and abrasive arrogant and evasive replies full of fake promises and downright lies.
So they asked me to write for them as their name and address is obviously known to a man who acts so disgracefully.
He has no idea at all how to treat or talk to customers with any common courtesy or good manners at all, nor with any honesty.
I have seen his messages exchanges with them and he is unnecessarily rude dismissive and arrogant beyond belief and tells bare face lies to hide his own incompetence.
I see from many other reviews that many people feel the same way and it explains fully why the company has only a 2 star rating out of 5 and 69% of their customers rate them as 1star out of 5.
Which from what I have seen is more than they deserve anyway.
My in-laws tell me their entire experience dealing with this man was awful and I hope he soon goes out of business which requires no customer interaction so he would be far more suited as he obviously is incapable of talking to customers in a decent and respectful manner.
I noticed from reviews that his usual style is to reply to reviews with even more rudeness blame shifting and lies rather than admitting to his own faults
He uses the same cocky rude and defensive attitude each time saying the customer is always wrong and then exaggerates or lies about the facts, calling customers who just want their salt deliveries as they were promised as keyboard warriors which is yet another weak transparent cover up.
Hopefully everyone can see through such a thoroughly unpleasant company with staffwho are obviously just very rude ignorant and aggressive and the worse possible sort of people to ever have to deal with on anything.
Professional behaviour is obviously not in his nature. So let's see what fantasy and nonsense he invents to this review to claim that everything is my in-laws fault and as always he is blameless in every way.
Don't use this company at all is good advice to all as its led by this extremely unhelpful rude and ignorant bully of a man which fully explains why the company is as badly run as it is and certainly deserves it's ever growing terrible reputation.

Totally agree with @Alan Higgins, well said! My experience was worse tho!:..the driver turned up out of the blue i.e. my wife just happened to be coming home from work when the driver pulled up & was leaving some packs on the doorstep causing a trip hazard so she told the driver to remove them and then move them into the garage! This was only a part order! I emailed Daniel about this and didn't even get a response back! The next lot came yesterday again without warning ie 2 weeks later! - this time I happened to be at home..suffice to say I won't be using them again!

Unfortunately the delivery service of this company is utterly appalling. They promise delivery UPTO 15 days ...but once again I have had to wait well over a month despite constant reminders. The excuse is always that they are having delivery issues of their own but if that is the case they should not continue to take customers orders and take their money and still continue to promise delivery in Up.to 15 days.
This is very wrong and I will never again use this company again because they are just so unreliable.
Watch out next though for a reply from Daniel I expect who will as he so often appears to do reply in a rather rude manner claiming that nothing is there fault at all ...and it's all somebody else's.
But I'm taking the time and trouble to write this to help other people so believe what you wish... but I certainly will never go near this company again because when I'm given a delivery date I expect it to be met.
I have to add that the reply below from Siwa salt is complete and utter nonsense. What earthly difference does it make whether I have the salt delivered to my front door or 400 yards away. The comments about being a different driver are totally irrelevant as well.. as you can see the garages from the house with no trouble whatsoever. A totally ridiculous load of nonsense is what that reply from Siwa salt is !!

Ordered salt blocks on 15th May waited 15 day for delivery as par T&C on the website. On 5th June texted the company and was told it will be delivered on 8th or 9th (weekend). Received a text message on Saturday 9th June to inform me due to broken down vehicle unable to deliver until following weekend.
As I only had enough salt to last me a couple of days I suggest to deliver on week days but apparently the person who covers Kent area only delivers at weekend but I live in Surrey.
I ordered from this company before always making the same excuses. The proprietor is Rude, Arrogant, Aggressive. He clearly needs to take a course in Customer acquisition clear he hasn't got a clue about how to engage or talk to his customers. I asked him to give me a solution as I will out of salt before the weekend. He response was either wait, collect it myself or have a refund, I took the refund didn't want to deal with a child. He will deny all this because all his customers are liars.

I have placed the order in your website on 8th May for 24 pack salt and paid using Paypal incuding delivery charge. As per their advertisement, all orders should be delivered within 15 days of time. There was no communication about the delivery and i am not first time buyer from them. As you see the order screen attached, i was bought the same thing on last Jan 2023. There was no communcation about the delivery or any messages about their delay. But when i contacted on June 1st 2024 about the order, Daniel has mentioned that there is a delay due to high demand. But he has also mentioned that there was an communication email has been sent to everyone. But no emails received from them and i have sent the emails screenshot as well. No reply for my questions and only reply it will be delivered soon. But no communication about when it will be delivered. Since it is partially delivered and raised the claim to paypal. I won the claim and refund was made finally via paypal. Overall worst experience from them and will not recommend anyone to buy from there.
This guy has posted my personal information in the review reply and got warned by the trust pilot. It does not makes sense at all and not genuine in the reply.
This guy is really horrible to get the proper reply and ended up claiming via paypal. I never requested for full refund and requested only for half refund which was not delivered to me. He has agreed with paypal and refunded back to me. I also have the video footage where the delivery guy from them how he has escaped without ringing the door bell.
