While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I downloaded Sittsy wanting to work as a pet sitter. During sign-up, I accepted the Terms & Conditions — and immediately, without any payment confirmation screen or breakdown of what I was paying for, €75 was charged to my card via Google Play.
No summary page. No "you are about to be charged." Nothing.
I requested a refund the same day. No reply. My bank declined the chargeback. Revolut flagged it. Sittsy's support is fully automated — I couldn't reach a human no matter how many times I asked.
This is not how a legitimate platform operates. In the EU, you are legally required to show a payment summary before processing a charge. They did not. I am now filing a complaint with the Italian Antitrust Authority (AGCM).
If you're in Europe and thinking about using this app — be very careful.
