Issues at First, But Promptly Resolved
EDIT: Jim from SiteLock reached out to me personally to discuss my issue. He asked me thoughtful questions and addressed my issue directly while also learning to solve for future issues. It was a very helpful conversation and it's clear he cares about his customers and how the product is viewed. I'm editing my review to account for this follow-up as it seems my interaction with customer service was not typical and likely due to short staff and complications from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beware of SiteLock. They swoop in when you are most vulnerable with your website, then rely on their "Terms of Service" to lock you into recurring plans which typically don't cover any additional issues that come up with your website. Their customer support is unwilling to work with you as they are more interested in making a quick dollar then creating long-term customers. I tried to cancel their service because I am no longer managing a website for a client. I planned on recommending SiteLock to the client, but SiteLock would not let me cancel my subscription because I just missed a 30 day communication window. They directed me to the link listed in the service agreement for full details, which subsequently directed me to a 404 error page (I can't post a link here, but have documentation.)

Sitelock Rep Saved Me Time and Money
My rep was patient (I had thought I had services through my hosting company, but didn't). He was knowledgeable and explained to me in laymen terms why my site was vulnerable/where the malware could have entered and how Sitelock prevents this from happening again. My site has been infected for months and no one could tell me what was going on. Toni was wonderful/fixed the problems and gave me preventive measures and insights that I hadn't heard from others. He even listened to my jokes.

This company is not transparent
This company is not transparent, and signs you up for services you do not need. They are charging us $373 per month and will not cancel services. We've never used any of them. Be careful before using this company. This is likely the worst experience I've ever had with a company like this.
