Opaque complaint process with real business impact
Our experience with Site Guarder was extremely concerning.
A complaint associated with this company appears to have contributed to the suspension of a legitimate business website, yet no clear evidence, detailed explanation, or transparent review process was made available to us at the time the damage was done.
I fully support action against real phishing and abuse online. However, when a private company submits reports that can lead to serious consequences for legitimate businesses, there should be a high standard of transparency, accountability, and accuracy.
In our case, the process felt opaque and one-sided. A real business was affected, but we were left without meaningful clarity about the exact basis of the allegation or the underlying evidence.
If a company is involved in abuse reporting or takedown activity, it should operate with professionalism, fairness, and a clear mechanism for review when mistakes happen.
Based on our experience, I cannot recommend dealing with a process handled in this way.
