Support is difficult to access

Support is difficult to access.

Had a Malware case reported by SiteGround on one of our websites, with a threat to take our site down if it wasn't rectified within 2 days.

When I opened the report, there was nothing in it and no files containing Malware.

Trying to contact SiteGround Malware support is behind a paywall, even though there was nothing wrong with the site.

Eventually managed to get to an expert on live chat, but not before being sent around the houses by the awful AI and, at each interaction, being upsold services I didn't need.

Once I actually got to a human, the support was spot on. Once through, they saw it was their error, removed the marker the transaction took less than 2 minutes; getting there took an hour.

Do better when your customers have issues, especially when you are the ones who created them.

We understand how a two-day deadline can be stressful, but please be assured that our system always performs a final automated re-scan before any service limitations are applied; as the file was safe, your site was never at risk of being taken down.

While our AI is there to provide quick resources and guidance, it is also designed to provide an option to "Connect to a support representative" when a customer asks to speak with our team. The support you get is brillianr

The support you get from Siteground is worth the small premium you pay for the hosting. There are cheaper hosting companies out there, but they are cheap for a reason. Every time I need help the support crew come through. The servers are secure and their software is easy to use.

Top company for website hosting

Top company for website hosting. Really helped through migrations. I now manage a lot of sites with siteground. New AI tools are pretty good too. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for fairly priced, fast hosting.

When dealing with a problem

When dealing with a problem, the option to chat with a real person is the best part of using Siteground. The AI assistant is OK but it doesn't understand the customer, only a human can truely understand what the customer needs and with carefully thought out questions a problem is quickly solved.

They tried very hard to work it out. We kind if got there in the end but it was the Kadence theme and WordPress conflicting rather than anything else.

Thank you again. I'm so glad it's sorted and not consuming every spare minute of my time. I could not have got there without the expert cares' help.

Better than the rest

I have used many platforms - AWS, Google Cloud, Azure Cloud, WPEngine - none of them come close to the stability, reliablity, ease of use and performance that Siteground provides. Cannot recommend highly enough.
