Unacceptably poor

I paid for the premium service. They registered my domain incorrectly, then took almost two days to refuse my support request to change it. I cancelled my subscription, but kept the domain (which I was charged for). Despite several requests to unlock my domain so it can be transferred elsewhere, Sitebuilder will not respond. If there was a Zero star, or even going into minus figures, they'd get it.

They over charge and have no record of it.

I am in an ongoing battle with sitebuilder. I have one website but they are billing me twice per month (£11.98 +£15.56) which they deny, having to send screenshots of paypal transactions to prove.

Also paid £56 for search engine submission, then a week later they email me trying to sell they search engine submission advising that I have not purchased it. Once again need to prove purchase with screenshots and only response I get is them trying to promote more products/services.

I am currently awaiting on a response..

Shocking

I needed a website when starting my own business...at first everything seemed ok and then my website got shut down by Nominet because the folk at sitebuilder hadn't registered my details properly...over 10 mails and 2 weeks later it is still down and all I get is 'we have opened a ticket' whatever that means..plus I had an online chat with one of their advisors who was as much use as a chocolate teapot.
A bunch of scammers, take your money and disappear into the sunset..DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS........

Scammers

Beware of these people - apparently they are a sister company of websitebuilder.com but the same staff work for both companies. Read the reviews on websitebuilder.com and hopefully you won't lose any money to these scammers.

Scam you out of money.

Do not use this company they will scam you out of money. I subscribed to a monthly plan and agreed to pay monthly through paypal, the transaction went as expected until I was sent a receipt saying they took the whole years payment and set up recurring payments for £143, not the £9.99 monthly payment i was expecting and agreed to.
I am sure this is call theft and gaining monies by deception. Please do not fall for the same scam i did. I have also tried to contact them but had no response. Police next.

Misleading and dishonest

I was looking to build a website and looked at the reviews for this company sitebuilder.com and thought it looked good. That clearly state that they provide free emails and free domain name for those that sign up so that was an added incentive. But after I purchase and tried to set up my emails it wasn't free at all, in fact a further £36 per year through using google business email. I then had a chat with a representative and was told they were working on it. I then asked for a refund and they refunded £98 instead of the £126 they were supposed to refund me. I complained and said that I had bought the domain name - so much for being a free email for life as stated before I signed up. I am now seeking action for the remainder.

I'm sure they provide a good website builder but they are deceptive in their charges. Avoid them if you don't want to be conned.
