It was posted to me here in Australia and arrived promptly and safely.
The entire ordering process was easy and the staff following up that I had received my kettle was amazing customer service. Will definatly be ordering from them again when I need my fix of England.

No wood chassis for Morgans
Your article regarding British cars and Morgan specifically was at a minimum lazy journalism, or plain irresponsible. Okay -- MORGAN CARS DO NOT AND HAVE NEVER USED WOOD IN THEIR CHASSIS MANUFACTURING. However, Morgan has always sourced British ash for the frames of their car coaches -- you know, the cockpit we sit in that is mounted over the steel chassis -- just like my Roadster (now only 20). Ironically, more than any other British automobile maker, Morgan fulfils your three criteria for 'British provenance'. I laughed when I read Austin Martins are "handmade". Watch Morgan factory videos and then the AM video. Not ONE, not a solitary robot in Malvern...'nuf said.

We have to say though that your tone is rather unpleasant and how a simple blog can be irresponsible when it has one fact wrong is beyond us.
We are a small family business doing all we can to support British craftsmanship and reviews like yours do nothing to help the cause of supporting other small British businesses.
You have not even purchased from Sir Gordon Bennett, giving SGB 1 star decreases the opportunity for us to help purvey more British brands. You must've felt great when you finished your ridicules keyboard warrior rant.
We do hope you have something more interesting in your life than using 'CAPITALS' to shout at websites that you haven't even purchased from.

have been waiting 10 days . . . and second reminder to leave feedback which is odd as I have not received anything to feedback on.
I placed an order on the 22nd of October and my shipment has still not arrived. I have already complained and have been told that I read things incorrectly saying that your handling takes about 3 to 5 dyas and after that the parcel will go in the mial. It certainly does not read like that on the website nor do I understand why you would be asking for feedback days and days early. I do not feel that you are being wholly truthful which is irritating to say the least. Parcel still not arrived, and we are now on day 10. Boring, disappointing would have been much more helpful if this process had been explained properly that I need to wait a fortnight to receive anything.

Found my Chelsea wax jacket!
I was looking to replace a well-loved Chelsea wax jacket that I bought several years ago from another supplier of British goods. I was distressed to find that they no longer carried it. With some internet sleuthing I was delighted to find that it was available from Sir Gordon Bennett, and with a very good introductory price. With a few clicks it was on its way to me, and I was kept well-informed of its speedy progress across the pond and timely arrival! it feels like Christmas in October!

I have just unwrapped my Fox umbrella
I have just unwrapped my Fox umbrella. It is beautiful and took me back to the 1970's when I was a student in London. I was caught on Waterloo station in a total downpour so hurried into the lost property office to try and find an umbrella. I came out with a very lovely Fox umbrella, which I think I paid 50p for. It lasted me for years and years. I cannot even remember what happened to it. Now I have its replacement and am happy! Thank you Sir Gordon Bennett.

Left with an expensive bag that quality-wise doesn’t match the photograph. And a sketchy returns policy - I discover too late. Returns are mentioned on their terms and conditions, but they wheedled out of accepting the return. No reputable company does that. Maybe the Ombusdsman next. Very unhappy, I’m £260 down.

Positive experience when I had an issue with the order
My order was processed and money taken from my account even though the item wasn't in stock - however, Dan was extremely helpful in getting back to me and resolving the issue. These things happen, especially with small businesses. I was grateful they got back to me and responded promptly. I'd recommend this business on the basis that you can trust they will sort things if anything goes wrong!

This item has a 5-7 day make time and it was shipped to you Tue 30th Jun. Like many of the smaller manufacturers we are proud to showcase, Heather Borg items are made to to order for each customer. Made to order items are not able to be returned unless there is a manufacturing fault with them. Made to order items are made specifically for you. (If there is a fault we will either fix the issue, replace the item or issue a refund it is important to add.) Made to order is more typical for smaller businesses and is different to larger highstreet brands who have mass manufactured goods. We ensure that information about whether the item is made to order is present right at the top of each product page as we know this is important information for our customers. Good after sales service
I bought a London brick vase as a gift for my sister. Sadly the vase arrived broken however, the service received since I informed them of this was excellent.
