You are probably reading this review because you have lost someone very special to you. I know that feeling and can say hand on heart that I am so glad I found this company. I use that term ‘company’ loosely because from the first time you speak with them it was as if you were dealing with the most caring organisation you could find at such a low point in your life. Like so many people who have lost a loved one (and my dear mother was much loved) you don’t know where to start. Well I started making discreet enquiries with persons who worked at the local council who you have to deal with to get the death certificate issued. I knew that they could not recommend a company outright but one person I spoke with gave me the details of who they had organised for their own funeral to be sorted out by when that time came. That company was Sincerity. It was without doubt the best choice I could have made. Sincerity is a local family run company where actual family members are employed directly by the matriarch of it all: Sarah. She runs things with a care and precision that you will be so grateful for. How she remembers everything is quite astonishing. She will arrange for your loved one to be collected immediately and they will be looked after by Sincerity until the funeral itself. She will then discuss with you the type of person your loved one was and make personalized suggestions so that the service can be as special a tribute as your loved one could have possibly hoped for. You are in charge of the choices. This company does not simply tell you what they will do. They formulate a plan with you. This can be very important as you want this final farewell to be as special as your loved one was. In our case she discussed everything from the flowers, the location, order of service, colour theme, the procession route, the provision of a local choir and even catering. The result was a service that was carried out in the grounds of a family members’ home on a beautiful day where every one of the attendees described it as a joyous occasion where my mother’s life was celebrated. Her pall bearers even wore pink ties to reflect my mother’s favourite colour and the theme of the service. At the graveside my mother’s favourite flowers were on hand for anybody who wished to place one. I know that my mother would have loved what Sarah did for her that day. WE even had a video of the whole day done that although still painful to watch at the moment will be something we will take great comfort from in the the years to come.
I could wax lyrical about this company but you get the picture. If you want a personalized farewell to a loved one which would undoubtedly be approved of by your loved one; then this is the company to approach. They are getting popular because their reputation is growing. However I am confident that you will be left to feel that your loved one’s service is as important to Sincerity as it is to you. Treats there staff like garbage uses them then throws them away when no longer convenient

The Sincerity Funerals family, helped us during our difficult time of organising the burial of my younger brother. Sarah held my hand all the way through and really took the pressure and stress from the entire process. My mom was really pleased with the ceremony and had multiple people comment on it being one of the best/nicest funerals they had attended. Just want to thank Sarah and her family again for all the help and support, they really made it feel like we were part of their family and not a service that they provide. The flowers were beautiful and vibrant, the whole family went the extra mile in making sure it was the theme we wanted for my brother. Thank you x

Sarah and her team were truly amazing
We used Sarah & the Sincerity Team for our moms/nannys final journey, from the moment we made the initial call, we knew we had made the right choice. Sarah visited to go through our requirements, and talk us through what would happen, both for the day of the service and the days before hand, nothing was ever too much trouble, we changed a song at the 11th hour, and still we were met with nothing but kindness.
Sarah and her team made sure the final day went exactly to plan, even down to the bizarre choice for the final song.
I hope i wont need to arrange another funeral for very many years to come, but when the inevitable does happen, I hope Sincerity Funerals havent retired :)

Sarah and her team were so professional, caring, kind and most importantly to me, they were human. Talking to the team and arranging a funeral through them was as good an experience as we could have possibly had at such a devastating time.

Being able to talk to real people, with real experiences and compassion, rather than the dry, robotic secretaries you would speak to at other funeral places is what made the whole experience so much more easy, straight-forward and memorable.

Everything was executed perfectly, from the initial sit down chat with Sarah to arrange the details, where she was so understanding and thorough with my sisters and I. She tailored everything perfectly and understood everything we wanted.

On the day too, everything went ahead so perfectly, the flowers were absolutely wonderful, a real work of art. The leaflets were absolutely beautifully made and designed. Sarah's personal touches throughout the funeral too, made it a heart-warming experience for everyone who attended. You did my Mom proud, thank you.

I hope I never have to, but I would never hesitate to use Sincerity Funerals again, and would recommend them to anyone who would need them. It was absolutely wonderful to work with you, but I also pray that it never happens again. ❤

After losing dad in February 2018
I contacted Sarah on recommendation not knowing what I was doing or what to expect but on first meeting she reassured us talked us through every step of the process and there was no rushing nothing was impossible there was so much understanding of our loss. She kept us up to date on every detail of arrangements and on the day of the funeral she had carried out our wishes ensuring Dad had a lovely send off. when we lost Mom suddenly in February of this year Sarah was the one I called immediately and straight away she took over the reins in the same reassuring caring and compassionate manner and not as a funeral director but like a friend

After losing our dad in February 2023 I phoned Sarah, she was kind, caring,compassionate and understanding of our loss. She kept us up to date on every detail of arrangements and on the day of the funeral she had carried out our wishes to the letter ensuring Dad had a fantastic send off. The after service was second to none, and on the day of internment Sarah officiated once again showing us all nothing but kindness and care. We lost our mum in January 2023,and I felt it was preferable to use a local firm rather than a big company to handle her arrangements. From the very start the tone was right. Not too pushy, we had plenty of time to discuss what we wanted. We were contacted regularly without feeling mithered, a light touch approach in all aspects. There was an issue with the cars on the day, but we worked round it and the charge for the cars was taken off our bill, without us asking for it.

I would just like to say a massive thankyou to Sarah and the rest of the team at sincerity funerals for giving my nan such a beautiful send off. You did an amazing job for us for my grandads funeral back in 2020 and now for my nan in 2022. We will forever be grateful for your help, patience and support whilst we were grieving. I think me and my family will be honoured to visit you when the time comes, just hopefully not for a while. Thankyou again Sarah x

In the last 12 months we have lost two family members. After using sincerity in April 2021 for my Nans funeral there was no hesitation to use them again when my mum passed away unexpectedly at the beginning of May 2022. Sarah and her team are amazing. You are instantly put at ease upon meeting Sarah and you know 100% that your loved one will be well looked after in their care. I know my Nan and mum were. From the start to finish of the funeral arrangements nothing was too much trouble. Great communication when I needed questions answering.
