10/10 experience - would definitely recommend going to this repair shop! My laptop screen was cracked, I needed it fixed asap as I have upcoming deadlines, brought it into the shop in the morning and was told it would take 24-48 hours but it ended up being ready three hours after I’d taken it in, as they use local suppliers to get the products!! Very professional, quick and easy to solve!

I am working in Cardiff on a temporary assignment and after experiencing problems with my i phone charging, googled for a shop that specialised in phone repairs and servicing. SIM-TEK came up and I cannot thank Cam enough for his brilliant help. If you are local to Cardiff or visiting he is your must visit centre. The other bonus is that the shop is in a nice area and parking is easy. They also fix computers and laptops.
Polite, sympathetic to someone who wasn’t brought up with a mobile and refreshingly professional. Thanks Cam for the lovely coffee whilst I waited for my phone to charge.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Took several phones for replacement screen replacements and battery replacements and had an issue with them all after the repairs!
Poor quality repair and non genuine parts used!
Replacement screens weren't replaced correctly and lifted or cracked a soon while after. All replacement batteries bring up warning on phone saying that a non genuine part has been used and battery's all failing after less than 6 months - draining quickly and shutting off when 20% battery.
Not only this but the dodgy repairs caused other faults with the phones - face ID stopped working, speaker broken on phones etc.
An absolute headache! Avoid this place at all costs! It's cheaper than Apple for a reason - because fake parts are used and they don't have the expertise to carry out the work correctly

Iv always had my phones fixed by SIM tek world Albany road they are amazing and Carl always looks after me, he gave me a massive discount as I'm a repeat customer 5 stars are not enough

Be aware, this store is a scam !
Don’t be fooled with the fake 5 star reviews as I did .
I went there to change my phone’s screen the process was good and very fast and I paid £50 and less than 10 days later the screen stopped working.
And when I went to ask for them to check they said there is a faint scratch that made half of the screen to stop working. When I questioned the scratch and how this extremely small scratch that can barely be seen could have happened I was told that the scratch might have happened while the phone was in the bag with the keys and for that reason it can’t go under warranty.

This store is a scam, do not go there ! Even if you have to pay a little more somewhere else it will be better than having to pay twice as I did.

2nd time round brilliant service again had iPhone screen replaced, great service, trustworthy and reliable thanks again one happy daughter
