Customer service is a very bad joke!

Someone needs to fire everyone working in customer service! Asap. I've never experienced such rudeness it's appalling. There really is no point for them being there, the customer service workers that is. They get absolutely nothing done. They do not listen, they do not try to offer a solution, and straight up hang up! Wild

STAY AWAY

When it works, it's fine. I got decent coverage (because of the network they use, which they don't operate themselves).

However... run out of data? Getting more is crazy expensive. See a new, better deal on their own website? Pay €10-20 order price to switch. Tired of their **** and want to switch? "Monatlich kundbar" hides the fact that the notice period is 3 months. Also, to cancel your contract, you first navigate their awful website to click a few times, and then have a follow-up call which is about 10 infuriating minutes of them trying to sell you on some **** from their other identical companies (like winsim or handyvertag -- look up their ratings). The service representative also lied to me about the provider I'm switching to (SIMon mobile -- look up its rating).

So, I really, really, really recommend you stay away. There are much better options out there.

Legal trap.

I bought a new iPhone from simplytel. In the first year, I had technical issues (phone was not connecting with the internet) and simplytel advised me to contact their repair support (w-support.com GmbH). Within a few days the phone was repaired. Ok. 4 months after the repair, I started having technical problems again. I contacted simplytel, they told me I had to pay for the repair since I was already out of my warranty period. When I asked about the 2 year "Gewährleistung" they told me I had to have a document from Apple, confirming the problem had been there from the beginning. (Although they know there had been an issue, they are simply ignoring this fact.) Now, they are keeping me from using my consumer right.

JUST DON'T.

The coverage is horrible, roaming abroad is a nightmare (and expensive) and for the monthly cost they charge you can find WAY better. On top of this their website is hell to use and they make every task super hard.

Replacement Card Delays

They are insisting on not leaving my replacement sim card in the PO Box. I live in a student dorm and obviously, there will be a need for a mailbox because there are more than 20 people living in one building. Their website form is not allowing this data to be saved.

The excuse given was that it does not comply to "telecommunications law requirements". What law exactly are you violating if you leave it in my mail box? I first received my sim card at someone else's address without my name even.

Can you please just send my replacement sim card? I got robbed in Barcelona and obviously did not choose to have my phone and cards stolen on the same day. As you know, Monesse and N26 requires 2FA all the time and it is linked to the registered number.

If I could give 0 stars, I would!

If I could give 0 stars I would. They are the WORST service you can possibly choose. STAY AWAY. I canceled my phone sim 3 months ago and they still keep charging me, they also are saying now that my ‘contract’ ends in 4 months. But what???? I never had any contract, the phone plan was supposed to be of a prepaid SIM card kind. They say ‘CANCEL ANYTIME’ oh yeah???? That’s a huge lie! They’re liars! And what’s worse is they have the WORST costumer service ever. You kindly ask them to speak English and they only say ‘NEIN!’ Without even caring or trying to help you. STAY AWAY.

Extremely unprofessional support

Extremely unprofessional support

Two year in a row I did not have any internet in Italy and the tech support could not do anything about that, I guess because they just did not want (also they dont speak English). Literally, they answered to my claims after 4 days! And I had to work without internet. And still they could not solve the problem - well, probably lazy.
Also:
- App is just bad and made by drunk penguins
- Prices are not that cheaper in the end of the day
- Dont ever us it.

Worst phone carrier!

Worst phone carrier that I used in my life!

1. I had to wait 3 months until I could use the sim outside of Germany
2. Sometimes it does not connect to the network outside of Germany, and you need to change manually to which provider to connect to!
3. CRASY roaming cost in EU and Switzerland (7 euros / MB)

Strongly advise you to go to a normal provider like o2, vodafone

Keep an eye on your account

Keep an eye on your account. Cheap tarifs. Connection is stable, I haven't had any problems with it. Bad thing is that they switched me to "flexible data volume" without asking me, and charged 3EUR for 300Mb of data!

Ihr einziges Anliegen ist es, Geld zu erpressen!

Hallo, bitte übersetzen Sie diese Antrag mit GoogleTranslate, weil ich nicht gut deutsch schreiben kann.
They keep charging me 300% more of my invoice. They don't have a significant invoice day, sometimes it can take 2-3 months, sometimes 20 days. I cannot prepare my bank account accordingly all the time and once their money withdrawal is declined, they immediately charge me 20€ plus my bill. If I can't pay it on the exact date, it is my concern for Schufa, they cannot charge me extra for that, but they do.
Plus they don't provide network in the Netherlands, we always visit the Netherlands and neither my partner nor me could get a service there.
And I lost my sim card in another country, asked them what is needed to be done. They answered "Ihre SIM-Karte haben wir sofort für Sie gesperrt. Für die Sperrung fallen einmalig 14,95 EUR inkl. MwSt. an." without my consent! Without asking me anything about it! If they find my card and misuse it (which is not very possible), this is also my problem, they cannot charge me for a service I didn't want. I lost my sim card before with O2 (I travel a lot and sometimes need to change my sim card, thus I can lose those tiny bits every now and then) and in O2, there was no charge for blocking, they sent me the new card for free, only if I started using, they would add 10€ extra to my invoice.
This company also charges 15€ for the new card.

There's something called a "replacement card" only for 15€ and I could only ask for that, saying my sim card is broken. I asked for their support and they charged me, this annoys me so much that I will take this issue under the law and try to end my contract 1 year before the minimum ending. This is their 7th extra charge without notice.
And their service is so bad that they shouldn't even exist as a mobile service company!!!

Worst unethical unhelpful unfriendly

Must be THE worst provider. I can only advise you to stay away. A few times they overbilled me and though it was obviously their mistake and admitted they'd not pay the money back.

Very unhelpful and unfriendly customer service and in the end you pay more not safe money by being with simplytel.

Very unfriendly customer support and…

Very unfriendly customer support and hidden costs.

I was in a semester abroad and changed there my contract (the tariffs of the operator sunk, but they keep charging you the old bigger price until you make a new contract). However, the price didn't change much, because due to a new contract, I had to pay for a multi-card service, which previously was for free and came as a gift.

And here is where the fun starts. I called customer support and asked to stop the multi-card service. They told that that is impossible because they need to issue a new sim card for me and replace the old ones with it, and I can't receive it until I am back in Germany. When I get back, I should call them and then they will stop the service and provide me with a voucher for three months for the time when they couldn't cancel the muti-card. Upon my return, I called the customer support again to cancel the service, and the operator just did it by phone! He just blocked the second card, and there was no need for me to wait and pay three months! He also confirmed that I will receive vouchers for May, June, and July.

Today I called customer support again because so far I haven't received any vouchers and I asked how it's going to be done. And the operator replied that there is only one July voucher, which I will receive in August, and there is no other information available. After I was promised other conditions twice, now customer supports tell me that... just no. And when I started to ask, how is that possible, that they promised me one thing, and now another is happening, and how did it come that they made me pay for multi-card extra three months, if they just could cancel it by phone, the operator raised her voice at me! Which is doubly unpleasant, because I am a foreigner and of course it is hard for me to communicate in German. I am canceling my contract and can not advise this mobile operator.
