Very efficient, kept updated from reminder of appointment to car ready for collection. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Kept me updated at every stage from initial diagnosis to completion of the repair. I dropped it off on Tuesday and collected it on Wednesday - a day earlier than expected due to the parts arriving sooner than anticipated.

Definitely one to stay away from. I put my van in to have some minor work done. They managed to scratch the paintwork and when challenged they said initially that I couldn't prove it had happened there. Unfortunately for them I photograph my vehicles before they go into any garage so I was able to show them that when I dropped the van off there were no scratches there. I had to argue still before they agreed to repair it as a "gesture of good will" but he kept saying that "we didn't have to and besides its only two little scratches". I have decided that they will probably make it worse trying to repair it bearing in mind it was sign written one week earlier, a lot of sign writing will need to be replaced as well. They clearly do not look after customers vehicles. I've decided that its best to let others know so they can decide if they want to risk their vehicles getting damaged while in the care of Simply Service. I'm sure their response will be in line with not taking responsibility but we offered to repair your vehicle. As I've explained to them, not having the van stops me working and having a loan car is not the same if you can't carry your tools and spares.
I bought a Peugeot 2008 from Toyota Colchester. I constantly heard some kind of banging in the car. The Toyota service told me that it was nothing, and that it was a safe vehicle to drive. a few months after buying the car, I went to a major service center at Simple Service Colchester and the people there found a fault, which is that my front shock absorber is leaking oil. And that's why there is noise in the car. The guys at simple service, as always, solved it for me, replaced the shock absorber and now there are no sounds and it's nice to finally drive the car. Thank you very much simple service and see you soon....

Very friendly staff and a fantastic well thought out waiting area with games machine and a large viewing area, which was important to me as finding a place I trust with my mustang was important and now I have that with simply serviced I’ll surely be returning

Impeccable as always all work carried out diligently. Noting too much trouble Lee very helpful. Again many thanks
I have always recommended and thought simply serviced couldn’t be faulted until my most recent experience with them.
I will admit that I do not know about cars and I told them that. However I called to book my car in for an MOT and asked if they could check my brake fluid and pads as I had had a warning light come up on my car about them. So this I got told it would be best if I had a service to rectify this.
I had only had a service with them in November, less than a year ago, but if this is what I needed to rectify my brakes then I thought trusting them would be the best way forward, so agreed to this.
I dropped my car, for the work to be done, only to pick up my car with a £420 bill.
I was a little dumfounded but needed to get off to my night shift so paid so I could get off.
I spoke to numerous people who all agreed this seemed a little high considering what I had said needed doing.
The following day I got my partner to call up regarding the price and ask for a break down of the costs only to be told ‘with all due respect it’s not our fault she doesn’t know anything about cars’.
For any young female considering using this garage, please be aware of this attitude that is held at the garage.
This firm MOT'ed my Audi TT last year and was told of a £600 repair to get through the MOT and a stack of advisories, I had the car serviced too. The advisories I got priced at £700 odd, I declined. Fast forward to earlier this week, service and MOT time
and booked it in elsewhere. Here's the rub: sails through the MOT with 1 advisory (lowish tyre).
So the car has miraculously healed itself over the year, or Simply Service have manufactured repair work where it was not required in the first instance.
I suggest you use another firm to service your vehicle.

Had a service carried out recently by simply serviced, Colchester, brand new not even a year old van comes back with small but very noticeable dent in my door and orange paint left on door. It’s exactly the same colour as the metal ramps they use to raise the vehicles. They denied it was them and even told me it wasn’t possible to open the doors when on the ramp so assured me it wasn’t that. Can’t use it as it’s filmed on private property but I have dash cam footage of them in and out of vehicle while on the ramps. They have offered to pay for half the costs of repairs as a good Will gesture. It’s so obvious it was done by them and they know it.
All said and done weirdly I still recommend this garage as there reviews at present are good and with all garages you run the risk of this sort of thing. It seemed like a tidy garage, I think I have just been unlucky and feel like I have been treated very unfairly. Like I said it’s so obvious It was done by them that I’m surprised they denied it to my face!
Edit. Thanks for the response. I believe if you allow me to bring my van to your garage and line it up with your ramps it will line up perfect along with the paint colour. It’s a small dent but it’s a new van.

Brilliant garage, really friendly and approachable staff and great value for money. Goes without saying the work was a fraction of the cost quoted by Land Rover, but still with the specialist knowledge and approved parts to do a thorough job. Would HIGHLY recommend!
This is the first time that I have used 'Simply Serviced'.
Got a quote from Mercedes first, but they wouldn't budge on price so I asked Simply Service (SS) to quote for a minor service and MOT. To my amazement, I saved £'s over Mercedes Service and will definitely use again. Car booked in, keys sanitized, received email to confirm job complete, collected keys (sanitized again as was the payment pad). Social distancing also in place.
The mechanics at SS are all qualified with a Mercedes background, so really a no-brainer.

Finally a garage you can trust, I pretty much gave them 'carte blanche' to do what was needed to my car, but they went through everything and gave it a clean bill of health, a less trustworthy garage could have just gone to town..
Better than main dealer service, for a lot less money!!

On 2/10/2019 my car was put through the MOT and had 2 requested extra jobs.
As always it was a pleasure doing business with Simon and his team.
One of the jobs was a last minute request and I elected to wait for the part to be delivered then fitted.
The whole exercise was complete in 3hrs.
Many thanks Simon excellent as always
