Hi there,
We’ve taken the time to carefully review your feedback and appreciate you sharing your perspective.
We’re sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Clear communication and collaborative progress are essential to the success of any project, and we understand how delays or misalignment can be frustrating.
That said, the progression of the project was impacted by several technical constraints within the existing codebase. The site relied heavily on legacy development practices, including complex PHP logic generating large portions of the HTML, which made even small changes more fragile and likely to create unexpected side effects, something we have brought up as a concern early on. As we fixed bugs and implemented improvements, particularly to support mobile responsiveness, some frontend inconsistencies temporarily surfaced, which may have appeared as CSS-related issues. However, these were largely symptoms of deeper structural limitations rather than isolated styling problems. We approached this challenge with care and transparency, always trying to preserve the integrity and stability of your application.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with you to address issues as they arose and consistently proposed solutions to move things forward. When you later indicated a desire to end the project, we suggested alternative approaches to reach a positive outcome, which were declined. We then explored other options, but delays in receiving confirmation, combined with shifting priorities, affected project momentum. Throughout, our intention remained to stay collaborative, flexible, and aligned with your expectations.
We remain committed to excellence and would be open to clarifying any outstanding elements if needed. We appreciate the opportunity we had to work with you and wish you the best in your future endeavors.
Regards,
The SimplyPHP Team
