Friendly, Good, Honest

For several years I was paid by Simplify, then my agency decided they didn’t want to use them anymore and they switched me to another company. I phoned up to say goodbye personally and that I had nothing to do with deciding to leave. They recognised me from my voice straight away, and we parted company amicably. This was the sort of friendly, helpful service they had always provided, and now I wish I could go back to working with them. During those years, I was never underpaid, and if I ever had a query regarding my payslip they dealt with it immediately. Such events could be caused by the agency being late in submitting hours, or timesheets not coming from the client company on time. Whatever it was, Simplify would have a finger on the pulse and I’d go back to work reassured and happy. Simplify were a good and honest company to work with.

Worst pay role company ever they pay at…

Worst pay role company ever they pay at different time of the day and you never know what time to expect payment, when I contacted them they told me there’s nothing they can do and I’ll be paid any hour within the day which of course left me in a bad position for paying other bills

Avoid 100%

I would avoid this umbrella company my personal experience has been shocking to say the least. I have sent numerous emails asking for the full insurance policy wording and have been ignored. I have called asking about specific details of the insurance cover (public liability insurance) and have been told different things by different people and if they can’t give you a genuine answer they will just tell you what you what to hear to get you off the phone. They appear to be clueless when asked questions I am still with this company as I type this review but I will be moving to a FCSA accredited umbrella company as simplify haven’t even been tested for compliance and are not FCSA accredited. Stay well away and go elsewhere and make sure they are FCSA Accredited.

Utter crooks

Utter crooks. These thieves charge you a weekly fee and avoid holiday even though you are PAYE along with Theo Jones recruitment which is illegal but they have found a loophole to opt you out. Stay away from umbrella companies and stay away from simplify or Theo Jones

Crooks

This company charges you employee insurance and employer insurance even though I work for a agency. This is illegal
"Paragraph 3A(1) of Schedule 1 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 prohibits employers from recovering employer NICs from an employee".
When you question them on it they say you can leave the job if you don't like it and there only a financial firm.
These people used to help people avoid tax and since its been put to a stop they are thieving of people to keep them self's in employment.

CROOKS

CROOKS. I was advertised a false rate of £9/h but minus deductions, my rate was nearer £8/h. I was never informed that Employer's NI would be deducted from my wages, nor was it explained that the online signature system will not show a preview of the contract. So I signed a blank screen only to find out there was a contract attached to the email of the link which I had now signed - even though that same contract was NOT visible on the screen at time of signature. VERY SUSPICIOUS. Additionally, the address on the contract (and my payslips) is WRONG. I emailed to rectify this and received no response until I rang and complained. Furthermore, the ONLINE SIGNATURE system DID NOT record the DATE I supposedly signed and agreed to these deductions. Neither are any of the empty selection boxes ticked to indicate that I had read the entire agreement, filled it in and then signed. There is only a signature with the date section and any other answer sections blank.

How is a contract valid if I haven't even made selections on it or ticked to indicate that I've read and understood the information before signing. Also if they are supplying the login details for the online signature form, surely they can just login, type my name in and say it is signed themselves? VERY SUSPICIOUS. Not to mention it's been a month and 5 days since my last email to Simplify and Strong Recruitment Group. I only received responses today by ringing them each directly and complaining. Appalling. Businesses in 2018 which don't respond to email?

These rogue operators have stolen £229 of my less than living-wage salary. I don't even have contracts signed with the agency (Strong Recruitment Group) who advertised the £9/h rate, nor did I sign their documents agreeing to the company deductions.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID AND DO NOT CLICK ANY ONLINE LINKS THEY SEND YOU. IT'S A TRAP.

SCAM ARTISTS. AVOID.
