They market by using robocalls with spoofed numbers, claiming to be a 'local website designer'. A simple Google search will show they're marketing themselves as 'local' everywhere. Deceptive marketing isn't used by legitimate businesses.

Simple Site Co has REPEATEDLY contacted me in spite of several requests to stop and being in the federal Do Not Call List for many years. If “Bob Hanson & Chelsea” are willing to openly & flagrantly violate federal law, what other legal or ethical shortcuts do they make?

Scammers, fake name, hard to find internet profile, no business adress or real contact info. Spammy non stop autodialer calls.

I only wish I could give him zero stars. He won't stop calling me and leaving messages even after I've asked him not to more than once. I've told him this is a residence, not a business but he doesn't care. And it's not even him, it's a computer cold calling. Unacceptable. There are too many options for web sites. Don't support this jerk and you'll be better off.

These people are Scumbags... They put a garbage website..... No customer service... Simple Edits takes months.... and the edits are even worst than the original website they created... Stay Away

They said they were a local company but it turns out they were not local once I looked into it, so I don't trust them.

Spam calls with pre-recorded messages that restart if you make even the slightest noise. Very shady and worthless business tactic. They should be ashamed

These people are sick! STAY AWAY, BOB IS A CROOK AND HE IS NOT LOCAL TO YOUR BUSINESS, HE CALLS ALL AROUND AND REPLACES THE CITY WITH WHEREVER YOU ARE LOCATED, HE IS NOT A LOCAL BUSINESS

Our company paid for a package, and Simple Site produced NOTHING. On top of that, they continued withdrawing the $100. monthly fee from our bank account!

Simple Site Company is NOT RECOMMENDED. They have ripped off a Church organization during the Covid-19 pandemic period. Our Church Youth Ministry has paid them $1,750 to do a web development of eschoolontv.com. After sending multiple emails to their Lead Developer to remove their own edits vs. my requested edits, I was told to "pay in full" less than 30 days (never defined to completion date on outset of project). When I asked to pay $150 toward our $750 remaining balance and complete "re-edits" Developer chose to add onto my organization misrepresentation - with "fake representatives of our organization"! Their billing department lied and stated "Source Code FILES will be uploaded/password removed from the FTP path access as of November 16, 2020 as they refused to do any editing until full balance be paid - without edits needing completion since October 31, 2020 of the site (project). Once I again, requested our Source Code FILES created to date to be uploaded onto my Web Hosting Service Startlogic as of November 19, 2020, they forced my domain to point to their Simple Site Company Web Server and block our "google traffic" and denied our Source Code FILES to be accessible by placing a password on Startlogic FTP path access. THEY DIDN'T REALIZE PASTOR VINCENT IS A WEB DEVELOPER TOO WITH OVER 30 YEARS EXPERIENCE! I was able to "mirror" path files and download them one at a time and change all account passwords/FTP passwords to block them from my domain eschoolontv.com, but they are continuing to point our domain to Simple Site Company Web Server...working overtime in man-hours to prohibit our Source Code FILES and what files were able to be savaged shows Simple Site Company unprofessionalism and illegal actions in Web Development to delete our root files, any verbal contractual agreement to complete work for hire on a professional product. I paid $1,750 for what you see now if you visit eschoolontv.com. I will report you to US Attorney General and have our Corporate Attorney seek DEMAND LETTER for emailing our Source Code FILES as your Simple Site Company is exposed as a FRAUDULENT COMPANY doing business scamming businesses around the world - especially a Church entity trying to expand the Good News Gospel message to "ends of the earth". SHAME ON YOU!!!

I do not bash other businesses because I believe everyone deserves an opportunity to build and grow. But I will never even want to encounter any business discussions again. Unprofessionalism and seemed to be interested in my vision and what I was wanting to do. The initial call was me just needing to get details such as cost to build website and monthly cost. I made the initial email clear with those questions. Fast forward in the conversation because I did not want to get started today as I needed to run this decision by my board and make sure financially I would be ready to do this within 2 weeks. When I stated that voice, tone, demeanor, every good thing CHANGED almost like a totally different person. I was told I wasted time because it takes 3 hours to build a site, they are the cheapest (which is not true), and because I wasn’t ready there was no longer entrust with me, I don’t even have my finances in order, and then I was hung up on. I was in shock because I didn’t know what had just happened. My son heard the entire conversation as I was on my car Bluetooth and we both were in misbelief. I sent an email expressing I will write a review because you don’t mistreat people regardless of their circumstances. I received an email response was he will share the same about my business????! False retaliation and judgmental is present.Not sure what review could or would be written about me or my dance academy as I am not worried. Deuteronomy 32:35. I have 2 other companies that are very reputable with websites and the only reason I reached out to simple site was because I had spoken with someone back in August. It’s amazing how during these uncertain times people are being revealed who they really are. I don’t recommend this company to anyone business or not.

They are amateurs using Wix to create pages for you. They haven’t got the first clue as how to really SEO your website. Internal communication between the so-called various departments is virtually non-existent. I expressed my vision and purpose of my website in the clearest terms I could, even using failed examples of what not to do. None of it was relayed to the “developers.”
I’m a photographer. I sent them a portfolio of over 100 photos. Did they use them? No. They mined my old website and yanked random images from there. They even inserted stock photos in places in direct opposition to my written edicts.
Rank apathetic amateurs. You can easily do as well or better with an online DIY website maker.

Repeatedly cold calls my business from multiple VOIP numbers so I can’t just block his calls. You would think after cold calling for two years, and no one answers or calls back, he would take the hint. It also says on our voice mail to NOT leave solicitation voice mails, so this person is obviously NOT detail oriented.

If there was less than 1 star I would give that.
They were rushed and very pressuring in their sales.
They did not follow through with the 7 day promise.
They were IMPOSSIBLE to contact. I hated what they built--it did not represent me at all. When I called and emailed to say there was a problem, they took forever to respond---forget the 7 day turn-around--not true at all. In fact, they never didn't fix the problem. I did actually get to speak to two of web designers, both men seemed to lack any concern for what I wanted. One set an appointment with me and never got back to me. Finally, I went with another company.

I have never left a review that feels this important. The monthly fee is $99, but they don't deliver. The worst---truly the worst. I want to save you the hassle I have had.
