The only part this firm is efficient at is taking payment. From that point on the service is non existent. They typically take 2 weeks to deliver and provide no updates. Their call centre is full

Don’t waste your time with this lot there are better suppliers out there.

Apparently this company now trades as ‘Simple Handrails’.

Having spent £300+ for a handrail, plus £7.14 for “2-3 day tracked” delivery, my handrail took over a week to arrive, I received no notification of dispatch or delivery and when it did turn up, was left propped against my house in the rain. Packaging was inadequate and yes, the handrail got soaked! I tried to contact this company by email and phone, receiving no response from either. Had I have seen previous reviews, I’d never have purchased from this company and never will again.

Seems to trade under simple handrails and simple balustrades , but now claims to be owned by a new company, pipedream fittings ltd, and the former company in administration, even though companies house shows all the businesses as being active 3 months on. I'd bought a handrail from them just before Pipedream took over, the brackets supplied were of very poor quality, constantly working loose. Pipedream can only sell me replacement brackets costing more than the original handrail. I would avoid this company in all it's formats, there is too much uncertainly with who you are actually doing business with at the moment should anything go wrong .

Terrible company. They accepted a return from us to the value of over 300 pounds. They then collected the return item and never redunded us. We ate now having to jump through hoops to get out money back, whilst being completely ghosted by this company. Avoid, spend your money with a trusted company.

Initial order was fine and pleased overall. Subsequent order - money taken - advice from courier they had been instructed to collect 15 July - since then NOTHING. IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT SIMPLE HANDRAILS OVER LAST 2 WEEKS BY PHONE, EMAIL OR LIVE CHAT just answer message saying high call volume. VERY DOUBTFUL I WILL NOW SEE MY SECOND ORDER.

I can't comment on the product as I have not recieved it- despite the false reviews on their website - you cannot contact them their live chat is not manned phone has a message saying all lines are busy and they don't respond to emails it looks like they have changed their name as the site is now simple handrails not simple balustrades contacting my credit card company for a refund.

I ordered a Stainless-steel handrail from “Simple Balustrades” when it arrived it was well packaged and I was very surprised with high quality and fixings. The driver who delivered it was very helpful and polite.
I will definitely use them again in future.

I bought a brushed steel handrail a few weeks ago and just had it installed today. It looks really nice, feels solid, and all the hardware was there. No complaints from the decorator who installed it. The delivery time was as promised. It looks just like the picture online. If I need a similar product, I would certainly start my search on its website.

Cannot comment on workmanship but had an unpleasant encounter with a driver from this firm.
I wrote to the firm who acknowledged my email but didn’t bother to reply or apologise for their drivers actions.
Not impressed.

Received the handrail noticed it was damaged when I went to fit it took a picture of the damage and sent it to rhe sales team noticed the offices where closed was left with no option but to fit the rail as my mum has mobility problems and can't get up and down the stairs without the help of a rail and the old one was already in pieces in my back garden when I was then contacted by the sales team I was told nothing could be done a complete waste of £169 rail looks awful because of the damage

Delivery arrangements as per advice. Oak handrail packaged in an excellent manner and good quality. A little disappointing there were no fitting intruction included to aid bracket installation as the pole was completely round. Brackets supplied were not rigid consequently became very loose at both assembly points - not impressed. Though all screws were supplied the rawplugs were standard brown 40mm in length yet the bracket fitting screws were 65mm with countersunk heads too big for the brackets - not impressed. Though the handrail is a quality product not impressed with the overall package - would be reluctant to recommend.

They place their delivery arrangements with arguably one of this country's worst courier companies.
Shocking levels of communication and the best bit? Being spoken to by a male member of THEIR staff who informs you that "yeah mate, you don't need to know my name"... I am sure that the quality of their product is good (£175)... It should be.. but certain members of their staff plus the gross incompetence of their courier makes for a thoroughly miserable experience in dealing with them. I just wish I could be writing something more positive.

Excellent quality solid oak handrail. We haven’t fitted it yet but it looks wonderful with classy brushed brass fixtures. Sent out quickly with no problems so far.

I ordered from this company and had numerous troubles with their logistics, firstly being told handrails were missing in logistics warehouse and they’d try find them and deliver next day, nothing came of it.. had rung numerous times and they finally turned up following week..

Glass was another issue in itself, didn’t turn up when they said they did, tried charging £250 restocking fee “wavered through goodwill” even though it was a problem caused by the company in any case. A panel came damaged after and had to chase to get replacement, if you want nothing but troubles this is the company to go for 👍 A* for effort and no fulfilment

I ordered a Stainless steel handrail with a small custom request. The email was answered very quickly and I had the handrail delivered very quickly as well. Its very high quality as are the fixings.
Great Company and Great products and Great Customer Support.

I’m an elderly man who doesn’t like buying online, however, the customer service I experienced from this firm was exemplary. After I told one of their advisers I didn’t like buying online they stayed on the phone for a good 15 minutes and talked me through the online system which was extremely helpful. The person I spoke to was extremely friendly and understanding of my situation. After they had taken all my personal details and payment information I received an email confirming my purchase. Two days later I received an extremely high quality product that my son was able to instal with relative ease. My overall customer experience with Simple Balustrades was fantastic and I will undoubtedly use them again in the near future.

Excellent service when I had a question on my order. Rail came within specified time and was very well packaged. Stainless rail looks very nice now it has been installed.

Absolute stunning rail delivered within 3 working days

Sent me handrails which were good but completely inappropriate sizes of screws and rawl plugs. I contacted them but they said there was only one size of rawl plug available! A Further email was answered with an automated reply. I'd avoid the company again on the basis of this interaction.
