I would give it no stars if I could. The site is unreliable (server issues?) and customer service is a joke. Stay away from this one.

Can't sign up, entered my email and password, clicked accept and nothing happens????

More scammers and con artists on this site with fake profiles than legitimate profiles.

Took a couple weeks to figure this out, don't waste your money. I had my account deleted and they would not refund my money.

Seems 90%+ profiles are FAKE in fact I don't know if any are real people, have not been able to verify anyone as real yet! But I have verified most all my matches as FAKE!!

Impossible to cancel. They have you filling out forms rather than simply clicking an unsubscribe button. The website makes it as hard as possible to even navigate how to cancel. Customer service is non-existent. No way to contact them by phone and their email response it robotic.

The phone app failed to recognize me or my device logging in. It was so bad, I had to log in on my laptop to use the app.
New matches often failed to load. The matches sent (about 50) were the ONLY matches. Many were in Canada or 50-200 miles away. All conversations about issues/problems including a fake account scam were routed through a chat GPT bot out of Germany!
Silver Singles has been sold. It has been automated. It is dead!

I am less than two weeks into my subscription. I met someone this past Sunday and we seemed to hit it off. Without going into details, I have confirmed that this person is a scammer. She said she's a lawyer, but is not registered with bar. We were texting outside the app on our phones and her area code is from NYC. I'm in MPLS!

This site should really be called Silver Suckers, because that is what we end up being for signing up with them. Though, my hair isn't silver...yet. LOL!
I really wish I would have heeded the negative reviews on here. I was on the 3rd day of my premium membership, in which I was still allowed to request a refund, but when I was editing my profile I was kicked out of my account and not able to sign back in. Therefore, I wasn't able to request a refund. I believe they knew exactly what they were doing.
I thought they had banned me for good (what for, was beyond me?), but they did finally (4 days later) answer my messages and gave me back my access to actually use the 3 month membership I paid for. Though, at this point I'm not even sure if it's even worth it to waste my time on there, considering not one of my so-called matches have even viewed my profile. I'm confident they are all dead/inactive profiles. I seem to only have visitor views of those who live out of state, which is outside of my preferences.
I did ask SS if they were sending me inactive profiles and they straight up said they "only" send inactive profiles up to 8 weeks. Really? I'm not even interested if someone hasn't logged in within a week. You can't convince me that someone who is actually serious about looking for a relationship is not going to log in at least once a week? If they don't, then they are not serious, and I'm not interested.
Since I initially thought I was banned for good, I ended up cancelling my credit card so they couldn't try to charge me again. You just never know with these dating sites? I'm actually done paying for any dating site ever again. It's better to be single than to be scammed by these fraudulent companies. They are ALL THE SAME! Dating site owners used to be honest and the sites actually worked until these greedy corps took over. Sign up on one of them at your own risk. Just be sure to accept the fact that it may not work. It's a complete crapshoot no matter how you look at it.

I cannot access their website. When I try, I either get a completely blank page or a page with gibberish. Haven't been able to access my account since April 20. At first I was getting responses and suggestions about what to do. Now, since 5 days NOTHING I've asked for an extension to my time and of course, no answer to that question. I'm almost done with them and if I don't get a response soon, I will make more negative reviews. But I suspect they don't care.

They are just a scam, all these people they show you for possible connection are all from some one's collection of people. Yes, they send you possible connections but after a while they all say the same thing and talk in a third world mentality! You can tell there not American. There some skinny looking body, with dyed fried hair Nigerian sitting behind a PC stealing for a living! lol

"Have you met" doesn't work. There are no results, day after day. I have emailed the site and not received a reply.

There customer support is a joke, I have sent 2 requests and after a week I have heard nothing.
On my profile I have put a distance of 50 kms and all the matches I receive are from 150-400kms away.
Also, I have put down English as my proffered language and getting matched with French speaking women.

There customer service and response time is most impressive.

I am 82 years old. Absolutely do not what to see or hear from anyone located over 50 miles from my Home. Your setting do not reconcile this.
Also, customers do not put photos or complete profile and should not be listed until done. Without photo don't know if looking at monster or what

Pictures are not visible anymore on Silver Singles. More than half the profiles are fake - they feature pictures of beautiful Eastern European women with profile wording that is detectable as fake immediately so there is no oversight of any significance. Pitiful! Go to OurTime or Match or POF.
Update after SS reply - payment is up-to-date so that has NOTHING TO DO WITH TECHNICAL FAILURE TO MAINTAIN BY SS! SS removes 1 fake profile for every ten that are on the site. Six days later, pictures still do not load when profiles are chosen. Instead of fixing their site, they try to discredit truthful reviews! Sad!!!!!

I think it would be good if you allowed non paying members to respond to a paying member message. I think many are not paying members, I think that might be one reason that I am not getting any responds from women that I have sent many messages to.

Beware! They auto renewed my subscription for $179.71 after I tried to cancel it 3 times and denied the charge through my credit card company. Their
online form does not work. They do not get back in touch like they say and there is no phone number for customer support.

I worked my way here from two other sites. The matches are pleasantly more targeted and there is something to their numerical compatibility rating system.
The annoyance is that my 100 mile radius is interpreted as 1,000 miles.

This is probably one of the worst sites I’ve used. Despite setting a minimum distance, I am getting suggestions from hundreds of miles away. I can’t browse or search, I am sent unsuitable candidates (too far away). Men seem to passively send a “smile” but are either fake or too apathetic to actually message. Utter waste of money.
