Totally incompetent SIBS support.

Totally incompetent SIBS support.
If something goes wrong with their MBWay service, they'll just ignore you with automated message.
They use broken terminals and fail the transactions.
Even evidences of successful transactions from bank side means nothing to them (they ASSUME that transactions reach the recepient). SIBS/MBWay just want your money without any responsibilities.
So be ready to lose your money because of them if you dare to use MBWay.
I've unsubscribed from their terrible service.

Extremely rude people who don’t help…

Extremely rude people who don’t help with anything. I have a bank account with Montepio that has blocked my bank account and they blame SIBs. SIBs blames Montepio and I wasted five hours on calls today. Turns out that the issue is with MBWay that SIBs has blocked my account. Montepio uses MBWay for their credit payments but SIBs are the ones who have control to block my account. I was told that I have a spending limit of 5k per month and I’m trying to buy a new MacBook Pro that exceeds that limit. Now Montepio has confirmed that my bank account is on hold for the next three days awaiting SIBs to unblock it.

Avoid all Portuguese banks if you can. But ultimately the customer service at SIBs was the worse I’ve ever dealt with.

Useful, free, unlimited service with useless support

They fix nothing and just repeatedly blame third-parties or the device. Cannot use their virtual cards on win2day.at since April 2023 (!). They keep ignoring evidence/facts and blaming the seller (who insists it's a card issue) and the bank (who claims it's an MB WAY issue) despite other cards and the bank physical card associated with their virtual card working with this seller. They suggested testing this and, when confronted with the results, ignored them and continued blaming the seller (!). Otherwise good. Useful (when it works), free, and unlimited.
