Terrible service
Terrible service! I booked twice days in advance.the first pick up was for my 80+ year old parents, the service was over an hour late!
The second booking was for my partner and kids and the driver didn't show up, had to wait over an hour and then get another random taxi which cost us a fortune!!!!! They are all scammers! Do not use this company!
Satisfactory transportation experience!
We had a great experience with Shuttle Central to and from our resort and the Cancun airport. Drivers were on time, kind, and tried to make us comfortable by asking for our A/C preferences and conversating with us in the best English they knew. They were focused on the road which is a necessity because the driving in Mexico is unique- not very many signs or lights and a lot more of guessing and anticipating drivers' next moves. So I highly recommend not renting a car and instead using a transportation service that hires people who actually knows the roads and how to maneuver through them. I see in the comments that others had troubles in that their drivers either arrived late or did not arrive at all, but both of our drivers arrived and were on-time. The company gave me text, email, and app updates for my appointment times and allowed me to put in any necessary information (like how many passengers, etc.) over the app. The drivers loaded all of our belongings and kindly served us. I did feel like some of their driving decisions were a bit risky, but that is probably because I do not understand the driving etiquettes of the country. In any case, our experience was very smooth and we would use Shuttle Central again for our transportation needs.

The worst. No shuttle. No help from staff. Had to pay triple for a cab. After giving Shuttle Central my fee.Refund???? Hah, U suck trump balls.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service! I had a private transfer booked through them from my hotel to Punta Cana airport. I was waiting out the front of the hotel lobby 15 minutes before my scheduled collection and the driver didn't show. When I contacted them to find out where my driver was, I was told that I didn't show! They were totally disinterested in sorting the problem and just kept telling me I didn't show, so I ended up having to sort out alternative transport at extra expense. Given how unresponsive they were at establishing where my driver was, I can imagine getting a refund is going to be an easy task.
Good service, good price
I used Shuttle Central for my transportation from Punta Cana airport to the resort and back. No problems at all, reasonable price, highly recommended
Poor communication
They ask for more information, i send it by email as requested, they do nothing but ask e for the same information again, so far their management is rubbish. I booked a return trip and the airport pick up was fin and nice driver. My return to the airport is in 2 days and they still have my pick up time the same as my flight time. Grrrrrrrr

Run from this company. The driver never picked us up for our ride to airport. After hanging up on me 3 times they told me get a taxi, keep the receipt and we will reimburse you and then hung up on me again. Never mind how stressful it was grabbing a taxi on short notice and praying we would not miss our flight. Now with receipt and screen shots of outgoing calls to them and messages on messenger submitted to them they are refusing to reimburse us for the taxi. Also, this does not appear to be a business with actual employees. It appears to be a very poorly run lyft or uber service where they just call around to local drivers and see if they can get someone to pick you up.

We booked a private transfer with Holiday Extras with this company. On the booking receipt it states that they will wait up to 120 mins for you. Our flight was delayed 60 mins and after collecting luggage proceeded to pick up point. We spent 20 mins looking for a rep with great difficulty then when found her to be told they had left because our flight was late, By this time we still hadn’t reached the 120 mins. After a lot of unsuccessful dialogue we were told we would have to make our own arrangements there was nothing the rep could do. After a 10 hr flight, standing in the blazing Mexico sun while this was going on we then had to fork out a 120 dollars for a taxi, Our return trip they picked us up five and a half hrs prior to our flight - the journey to airport taking 45 mins. The whole point of private transfers is suppose to be stress free - this was a complete shambles. Surely with the resources out there they could track flights - never again
Horrible service!
Horrible service!! We arranged for an airport pickup through Orbitz for a pickup in Cabo. I got a text saying that closer to our scheduled landing time we would get a second text with pick up details. Never happened. We wandered around for 20 minutes looking for a representative or a car and driver. Finally we found one and he said our car would be delayed due to a "crash". He told us we could get in another car but would have to pay $20 each on top of the $85 we had already paid.
We landed at 1:36 p.m. At 3:00 p.m. I started calling and texting the company at the number they had texted to me. They kept assuring me that they were reaching out to our driver. Finally at 3:25 our car arrived. We asked our driver about the "crash" and he said "no crash, my transmission was out!!!". I have reached out to Orbitz with no results and yesterday got an email from shuttle central saying they could not refund my money because we had reached out to the company after the maximum alloted wait time. What the heck. Terrible terrible service. Don't use!!

This entire company is a scam.
Upon arriving at the airport, we were told to wait 15 minutes so they could call the driver. A few minutes later, we were informed that the driver refused to pick us up, due to our plane being delayed, and to find another cab option. Nowhere in our booking did it say that our ride would be canceled if our flight was delayed and we were left having to pay an additional $70 for a ride to the hotel.
Upon getting to the hotel, I reached out to Expedia who then reached out to Shuttle Central and they both said that we would not be offered a refund because we were a "no show." I explained to Expedia that they should then be responsible since they are vouching for this company by having them on their website. They declined to refund as well.
I asked for the trip that would take us back to the airport to be canceled as there was no way we would be using them and was told it wasn't possible since it was a package deal that was already "started."
I emailed Shuttle Central directly and was told we arrived passed the "time allotment" but couldn't tell me what that magical allotment was or show me where it states that we would be left if our flight was delayed. I finally said that I would send all the screenshots and info to my credit card company instead because this was ridiculous. Within a few hours, Expedia sent me an email that said "Great news! Shuttle Central is providing a refund."

We booked and prepaid shuttle central for pickup at Cabo San Lucas Airport for a round trip to and from an all inclusive resort 45 minutes and the airport. They did not show up at the airport and we had to pay a taxi at a much higher rate. On the return to the airport, even though they confirmed the pickup time and date, they never showed up and we had to pay for a taxi again. So, we ended up paying twice to get back and forth from the airport and the resort. This all happened in late January and early February 2023. Their driver states that he showed up on time at the front of the resort to pick us up but we did not show. When I told the company that the driver was lying, they chose to believe their untruthful driver. I was stunned as they have basically called me a liar, which I am absolutely not!

Had the shuttle booked for 4 months. They texted me when I did not have service on my flight cancelling my ride with some trash excuse about traffic and construction. Leaving us stranded and in the hands of the scam taxis. No response after they cancelled on us. Horrible experience. Awful company with no morals.

We booked Shuttle Central for our trip to Punta Cana. The driver never showed up at the resort for our departure. I tried calling them, but no one answered. I also emailed Shuttle Central informing them that the driver had not shown up, but there was no reply. When I asked for a refund, they mentioned that the company tried contacting me via phone and text message to inform us that the driver was late, which is not true as I never received a text, call, or email from them regarding this. Still, they kept saying that they could not give us a refund as the company tried to contact me and did not hear from us; this is a lie. It is the worst service I have ever gotten. Now that I am reading other comments, I don't understand why Expedia promotes this company. I used Shuttle Central thinking it must be a good company as it's on Expedia. HORRIBLE SERVICE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
No show. DO NOT USE
If I could give them a zero I would. I assumed by booking through Expedia that this shuttle service would be reliable. They confirmed our ride home several times then we were waiting before pick up time of 5:30 am and they were a no show. I called and was on hold for over 50 minutes. I had to find another ride. Expedia told me to give them 72 hours to get a refund. Shuttle central contacted me asking for confirmation number. I sent it and then nothing. No apology. No mention of a refund. No mention as to why this happened. I'm shocked reading the reviews because why would Expedia keep using them if they have been proven to be a horrible unethical company.

I have used Shuttle Central in the past & they have given me problems but not too bad. In February my flight arrived early & I still had to wait an hour after my scheduled time. Going home they dropped me at the wrong terminal and I had to run thru the entire airport. My husband had dementia so I manage all the luggage. Very trying. Today my flight was delayed an hour. I emailed them at 8:26am as soon as I found out about the delay. I have emailed with them several times a day for the 4-5 days. May arrived time was to have been 12:30pm. It was pushed back to 1:30. By the time we got thru immigration and got our luggage it was 2:30pm. I was told they canceled my trip because I was a no show. I sent them my flight number & the new arrival time over 4 hours before arriving. The person I spoke with (I was told this was the owner) told me “ I don’t have time to f#%king wait for people that don’t show up. He then hung up on me. I was suck at the airport an hour from my hotel!! A very sweet, young man helped me get another private transport at an additional cost. This company works at the airport. Flights frequently come in late. I have no control of their schedule nor the length of time to get thru immigration. They stole my money. Im sure I’m not the only one. I am a parttime travel agent & suggest clients use them. Never again. There are approximately 200 travel agents in my company. This has been shared with all of them. You pay for a service, don’t get it, & have to pay $80 additional!! Don’t use them!!!

Worst experience. Went to Jamaica private shuttle was supposed to pick us up never picked us up had to take a private taxi which cost $200 called the company the person told me to put a claim I did everytime I call to see the Statius they tell me they will call me and never do. Expedia was told not to call them about this anymore worst company do not book thru them or else you will be left at the resort and have to pay another fee

I took a private booking from the airport to PDC and the driver was courteous and reliable. He drove safely and was still able to get me to my hotel and back to the airport quickly. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and I will use this service again on my next trip.
