I'm disappointed with the Showpass ticket purchase experience.
Showpass locked up on my first attempt.
After contacting them and doing the purchase by phone successfully, I still received notices that I had the original 4 tickets in my cart to be processed. I could not delete or alter the notice. The notice remains!!
After this two hour process, i was still charged a service fee per ticket fee.
Disappointed!

Showpass Canada requires personal information for guests to manage guestlists effectively, ensuring that attendees are pre-approved for specific events and can receive automated confirmation details. This process helps streamline event organization and enhances security for both guests and event organizers. B.S. They demand personal information to track all "guests"in order to purchase tickets. I was prevented from purchasing tickets because I refused to provide the personal information for each of my guests.. No ticket vendor ever requests the personal information of the. guests I invite to join me. They have my personal information as the purchaser. That's all they need.
Not On My Watch. It's a source of information they can sell.

Not even account credit when my experience was cancelled
Like many reviews here, I had a really poor experience due to the refund issues. I was gifted a voucher for an experience worth around £50+. Unfortunately when I wanted to book it the experience went bankrupt.
I tried asking Showpass for credit - not even a refund and it wasn’t available. They messed me about telling me to email other company with no refund. Eventually they stopped replying themselves.

Just an heads up to others. Even with the refund protection, If something comes up you can’t get a refund without providing personal documentation they should not be asking you for. They said I had to give them a copy of my brother’s new born babies birth certificate. Haha um no

Had a hen party booked at Cauldron Brighton but had to cancel due to a tragic family loss – the bride’s father sadly passed away, and the funeral was scheduled for the same weekend. I contacted Showpass a full week in advance to explain the situation. Initially, they were sympathetic and said they'd look into processing a refund.
However, after several weeks of chasing with no clear updates, I was eventually informed that the venue had closed down – and with it, our money was lost. No refund, no proper communication, and no accountability.
Extremely disappointed with how this was handled during an already difficult time. Would not recommend and will never book with them again.

Clients booked for Potion making at the Cauldron London, sadly they had a close family bereavement and needed to re-schedule the trip, unfortunately Showcase are not taking any ownership and helping to resolve our clients problem. It states on the Cauldron website that you can amend as long as it's 48 hours before experience, showcase advise to exchange the ticket but you are only able to do this once and only on the dates released by the Cauldron. This means our client will now miss out on this experience and lose their money. You would think they could issue a credit until the tickets are on release. Very disappointed and be aware Showpass answer emails to the venue you cannot even speak to someone. Truly awful service I for one will never book through this company again and would recommend anyone to think twice before booking experiences managed by Showcase they are certainly not customer focused.

I order tickets back on February 9, 2025, to the Calgary Women's Show on May 5-6, 2025. I never received the tickets. I need the tickets sent to my email.

I purchased tickets for an event and the event was not as billed I have now been in communication in the excess of 50 emails over the last two months trying to get a refund
They advise will email you back they don’t and when you chase them up you get a cut a paste excuse with no refund
Can’t contact the venue direct to discuss as goes back to show pass I’ve had every lie they where updating their booking system they’ve tried to contact the venue having no response from them they are investigating this list goes on and on would not use them as the event was falsely advertised and was a waste of money do not book the cocktail cauldron wizard experience in Edinburgh save your money
Staff where not engaging and was not a wizard experience was a poor experience from ingredients to atmosphere
Kind staff and good platform
I have been using Showpass for my events in Houston for the past 2-ish years and have never had an issue. I do have to say that they have some of the nicest folks working there who are always sending new products updates to me.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. In order to buy a tickets for a show, you are forced to create an account with this company. They require all your personal info, assuming for sinister reasons of selling them to some marketing companies, to get tickets for some random event. Very unethical and sketchy. And they do not allow you to delete your account until such event concludes. Clearly, this is a scam.
To add to the answer that you can delete your account, here is copied response from their chat bot: "(11:27:45 AM) Andrian Showpass: But as I mentioned, we are unable to delete your account until the event you had purchased tickets for has concluded. My sincerest apologies for the inconvenience"

The WORST ticketing agency that is not even located in BC!
First of all they have no business being the ticket vendor for the Stanley Park Rail because they aren't even located in BC!! They are in Calgary.
The way they handled the Stanley Park Bright Nights sales was an embarrassment! Even worse, they don't even use human beings to chat online as they never answer direct questions.
They should compensate people who waited hours by removing their ridiculous service fees!

Stanley Park Christmas Train
I tried to book an event at Stanley Park the site would just not work. Not sure how their queue works as my wife was in line for 7 hours and would not get a chance.
I tried hours after her and was able to get it after a 2 hour wait but when tried to checkout the system keeps on crashing and would not let you checkout. The only thing that works is the 10 mins timer you get on your turn which will kick you out even if the site is down.
Most pathetic system I have ever used.

I tried to book an event at Stanley Park and the tech is just not working. I had to get into a waiting que wasted 3 hours of my time. This app is consitantly bad and I wish the event organizers would give multiple options to book through another mora capable vendor. Needless to say I am extremely frustrated and sad I cannot attend this event because this app technology sucks!
They are scammer
They are scammer. I needed to call them but after long waits, they just cut you off, or worse yet, not they won't even allow you to wait on the line. The city of Vancouver, stop using this scammer.
