This shower seal is comprised of a high quality rigid PVC U section designed to comfortably grip any glass ranging from 8mm to 10mm thick with no need for any additional adhesive.
These seals are used vertically to seal a gap between two pieces of glass, it will span a maximum gap size of 24mm. Please note that this is a straight shower seal designed only for use on straight glass.
This product comes in 900mm or 2000mm lengths and can be cut down to size once you’ve received it.
Installation of our seals is nice and easy. Simply push the seal onto the glass from below on one end and work your way along, pushing the seal up onto the glass as you go. Easy to cut to size, fitted perfectly.
Bought a sample first, which was great, before ordering the actual product which fitted well.
Replacement for tired seal, fitted perfectly.
Although this product would have probably repaired my shower, discussion with the team led me to purchase a better option.
When my preferred product BIF040 was out of stock, I wondered if BIF092 might work between the static and moving panes of our shower screen. Thanks to Shower Seal UK offering cheap samples, I was able to test that theory, and although the joining piece between the two glass panel sockets turned out to be too short to stretch around the panel hinges, I could avoid wasting more money. The quality is fine: if your original seal is like this, without the concertina folds of BIF040 then this seal may work for you, but always get a sample to check.
