We booked a package excursion with Shore Excursioneer that was supposed to include a zipline tour, a boat tour with snorkeling, and a beach afternoon.

When we arrived, the weather was very bad and most of the activities were cancelled. While we understand that weather is outside of anyone’s control, almost the entire excursion ended up not taking place.

The original zipline tour advertised on the website included 13 zip lines and 16 platforms. However, we were only able to complete 5 zip lines. At no point before starting were we informed that the activity would be reduced to only 5 lines instead of the full tour.

Because of the heavy rain, we ourselves decided not to continue with the boat and snorkeling part, which would have been unsafe. This was not clearly discussed with us beforehand either.

In the end, the only services we actually received were transportation and access to the zipline park where we completed just 5 zip lines. Despite this, we were still charged $100 and only offered a partial refund of the $67 deposit.

In our opinion, this price is extremely disproportionate to the services that were actually delivered. If we had known beforehand that almost the entire excursion would be cancelled and that the zipline activity would be reduced to only 5 lines, we would never have agreed to proceed.

We fully understand that weather can affect excursions, but situations like this should be handled fairly for customers as well. Charging such a high amount for such a small portion of the advertised experience feels unreasonable.

Unfortunately, the company has refused to reconsider the charge despite the significantly reduced service. For future customers, it may be important to know that if large parts of the excursion cannot take place, you may still be charged most of the price.

Very confusing instructions. There was no order number on my right confirmation sheet

Found the site online, researched the company and was impressed with its rating. Found an excursion that appealed to me with plenty of info regarding activities and amount of exertion required. From there it was easy to schedule the excursion and make payment (plenty of options) online.

We paid cash for food and drink at West Bay Beach Resort Getaway and our credit card was also charged.
We cannot find a way to straighten out the overcharge.

Also, we selected the front row of lounge chairs and the resort workers moved a couples lounge chairs right in front of us, when we objected we were given the finger. To make it worse the guy started smoking with the wind blowing the smoke in our face.

We were approached every few minutes by someone trying to sell us something.

We had to go searching for the guy who was supposed to be waiting on us. I think his name was Leonardo. He is who my wife paid the cash to.

Overall it was an unpleasant visit.

Tour Guide's information on both safety procedures and the sea creatures was clear and amusing. It was a delightful end to our Panama Canal cruise - fun in the sun and sea with the opportunity to see colorful fish, sting rays, coral, and starfish. The only drawback were the number of boats in the area at the same time. My husband was kicked numerous times in the face.

I had booked 3 excursions with this group on my eastern Caribbean cruise. The first one was cancelled as I was the only one registered for it. However, I was given no prior notice and did not learn it was cancelled until I showed up at the pre-arranged spot. Then I was told there was only other spot available for a tour which was a city tour. I took it because there was nothing else to do. When I complained, I was told because I took that other option, there was no refund. I also booked another excursion on this same cruise with this company and it, too, was cancelled with no prior notice. I did not learn until I spent 15-20 minutes trying to find the guide. Finally someone at an information booth told me it was cancelled. This one was refunded but I was not happy at all. I will NEVER book another excursion with this company. When I booked, I did it online, so they had my email information and could easily have notified me beforehand.

Better prices than cruise lines and still has a guarantee

We have taken the food tour before and brought friends with us because it was so good. We were very disappointed this time. There were too many people on the tour and one family was VERY late. I don’t know why we even waited on them. They were almost 30 minutes late. Then we had to rush. We asked if we could buy something at one of our stops and the guide said no but the same late family bought something at another place and we again had to wait on them. The food was in much smaller portions than last year. The guide asked for water for us and they never brought it. I’m glad it was so good the first time. We won’t be back again.

The cost of the tours, the itinerary, and also had the opportunity to speak on the telephone to a rep who address my concerns. Booking the tours was easy and provides the details of the tour.

I was not able to use the Costco discount code despite going to the link in the cruise confirmation email.

Easy navigation of options. Lots of information regarding each excursion. One item was confusing: you have to choose number of passengers before time of excursion, but time of excursion comes first on the info you enter.

Once again, my experience with Shore Excursion Group in booking our excursions to Hawaii was a 5 Star experience. Thank you, Angel and thank you Michaela! Highly recommended!
