I chose ShopWired over Shopify partly because it’s UK-based and I hoped for better, more responsive customer service from a smaller company — and it’s definitely delivered.
Support has always been quick, helpful (thank you, Julia) and easy to reach, which makes a big difference when you’re running a small business.

The only real downside is the limited number of integrations and apps compared to bigger platforms. That said, what’s built in generally works well, and the team are open to suggestions. Overall, a solid platform with excellent support.

Ernest did a great job at solving my problem promptly

I seem to run into Ernest quite a bit whenever I’m on the ShopWired site dealing with issues and honestly, I’m glad I do. He’s quick to respond, professional and always friendly. His support makes navigating the ShopWired platform much smoother and far less stressful. Top notch service.

ShopWired have been excellent in their quality of service, flexibility and professionalism over the last 4 years. They look after 3 different websites for me and on each they have been a great asset.

The web support chat is second to none, always a speedy resolution and polite. Ernest has just sorted a small issue for me in 5 minutes for example.

Their flexibility in code for little changes that can be made has always been excellent, as some things we need aren't quite what they offer but they have always obliged for a small fee. Their website backend is flexible, friendly and intuitive to use even for a tech dinosaur like me.

A 4th and 5th site is on the books for me and I know I don't need (or want) to look anywhere else.

My query was dealt with by Ernest in a couple of minutes, no fuss, just a straight forward response which worked.

After deciding to start up our own ecommerce website, we opted to go with Shopwired and are so glad we did. The support given by the team has been amazing. Being of an older generation we had little technological knowledge but Chris B. has literally worked through every step with us, answering our queries as soon as they have arisen and even putting things right that we haven't understood. We have used emails rather than live chat but every response has been exceptionally quick, accurate and explained in explicit detail. Cannot fault the service provided.

Ernest made the changes we required in a fast and professional manner, solving our issue in a matter of minutes.

Extra at a cost £600 to add PICK and MIX !!
We are already paying £600 a year to use the online shop plus 1.9% card charges and they want £600 for us to possibly improve their income via the card charges. Seems that most extras are chargeable i.e to add a quantity option button alongside the buy now button £75. Only Lightspeed, which does not work very well so No other Epos/Pos integration so you can sell in the shop and on-line keeping stock etc synced!

The team at ShopWired have been fantastic with the setting up of our website for our new company. Throughout the process they have provided quick help and advice and given continual support. Fast response time. Resolved the issue. Great service all round.

They charged me £800 to set up my website more than a year ago, plus i paid monthly fee for this period of time, and they never did it. They didn't even start to build it. They put two lines across the page, which I can do myself or any person can do, and that's it and then keep asking me what else I want. I gave them a lots of photos and a lot of examples of how I want my website to look. In the end I decided to cancel my credit card so they can't charge me anymore. I did lost a huge amount of money and left without website. Will not recommend!!!

Moving to ShopWired is the best decision we've made in over 15 years. Great support and guidance and everything in our new shop running smoothly and stress-free at long last.

Have to agree with Scooby noms review. Very poor service with site issues they hide from customers and hope you go away. On top of this, someone changed our site code, asked for logs to see if it was a genuine mistake and they don't have any. What platform doesn't have logs ?I got rid of them months ago to end my Shopwired nightmare. Do not put your website on this platform.
