Haha, I got a gift card from this place for Christmas last year. Got an email recently saying it was going to expired 11/2024 so I was going to order but my gift card was declined in my cart. I messaged the instagram page, and her customer service email(declined address as soon as I sent it). Lol. Guess I am not cashing in on that gift. Oof

Run by thieves

This place will take your money and say your item is “pre-order” and you will NEVER get the item or your money back. I ordered my wife a sweater on DECEMBER 2022. Several unanswerd emails with one flat out denying a refund and its been over 6 months. who operates like this? A thief does.

I placed an order in March but never…

I placed an order in March but never received shipping details. All emails and dms were ignored and comments were deleted. When Velvet finally responded it was simply to blame ME (the customer) She tried saying that a discounted Halloween shirt was the hold up and that it would take 21-41 days to make…however I had also ordered 3 other items at full price that never came either. She then threatened to sue me on fb for making a post about my experience.

SAD but I have a feeling I’ll never get my item

Purchased the item on 2/28/23 for $55.43 I emailed the business on 3/19, 4/21, 5/6, 5/16, 5/19, 5/22 and 5/30 on Instagram and TikTok DMs. At this time on 5/30/23 the statement has been removed from their website but the only response I’ve been given was on 3/19 which stated “ You may have overlooked our graphic tee policy that was located in the
product description of all the graphic tees we currently sell. Our
graphic tee policy is a 2-3 business day processing time. This allows
us to carefully look over the order and make sure that there are no
issues before sending them off to our offsite vendor for production.
From there it's a 21-45 business day production time. This does not
include shipping to us and then to you. Once your tees are shipped,
you will receive a notification with updated tracking. Our tees are
unable to be cancelled once the order is placed. However, if you no
longer wish to wait on them before the policy window, we do allow for
store credit or an exchange of tees we have on hand.” At this time I don’t have my item, I haven’t gotten an update, another response, or my money back. I was really looking forward to my order. I’ll be disputing with my bank and I may also submit a fraud claim to the FTC.

I have had now Two bad experiences with…

I have had now Two bad experiences with this business. My first experience was last year and it took MONTHS and me reaching out to the owner personally via FB to get a resolution. She gave me store credit and a code for 20% off my next 3 orders. I gave her benefit of the doubt and ordered 1 more time. One of those items were the Stevie overalls. These were a “preorder” and said on the website they would be shipped 01/30. I reached out to their support email on 02/23 asking for an update. Kelsey Cook responded with this “Hi Danyel!
We are still awaiting the next update from our vendor regarding the Stevies!
The second we have an update, we will notify you 😄”. That is the LAST response I have received from their email. I emailed again, 03/09,03/23,03/29,05/02 and again this morning 05/11. NO response from their email. I even stated I would be willing to take a different product instead of the original. I reached out to the owner via fb messenger on 03/31 with screenshots of my attempts via email. She responded with “Thank you!! Give me some time to look into this ❤️”. And I never heard back from her. I sent follow up messages on 04/19 and 05/01 with no response. They have a policy on pre order items that the orders cannot be cancelled. But after 4 months of no communication or resolution, I feel like a cancellation, refund, exchange should be available! We chose to spend our hard earned money with this business and did not receive our full orders or any items at all for some. It’s disheartening that a business could do this to people trying to support them.

Never Received Order and Ignored

I ordered a sweater shirt on march 6th, 2023 excited to support a small business and have yet to receive an update. I have messaged the owner over message, email, and tiktok and have yet to get a single response. She has deleted all my comments and reviews and refuses any contact, I am going to have to find a way to get a $56 refund. DO NOT order from here!! There are many people who have experienced the same exact thing.

Shut Down Southern Grit

I have been a customer for over a year! There have been a couple minor hiccups but nothing that completely turned me off until my most recent experience! I ordered 3-2-23 and have yet to receive the order, answers or the decency of interaction! I have now been blocked on all social media platforms and am considering calling the Pendleton PD. The owner is a complete psychopath that is ripping off loyal customers!

Terrible company

Terrible company. I ordered $140 worth of t shirts and she has not refunded me or sent my items. It has been 3 months. I ordered 12/22 and it is 3/18 now. No resolution! I did receive an email stating if they go over their 45 business day time frame I would get a refund .. that was about 3 weeks ago. Literally robbing people and getting away with it. The owner should be in jail.

SCAMMY

I order a pair of pants on Feb 10, 2023. I never received a tracking number. I waited weeks and contacted the seller MULTIPLE times with one automated response. It’s been over a month and I never received my items. I can understand back orders and small businesses but was never given any sort of resolution or an estimated delivery date. I reached out many times through multiple forms of social media.
I’d never recommend this boutique to ANYONE. Very scammy vibes. Thankfully I was about to dispute my charge and was able to get my money back.

I’ve done over 30 orders with SG in the…

I’ve done over 30 orders with SG in the last 2 years. Only once did I have a hiccup and it wasn’t SG’s fault, it was the suppliers. SG immediately let me know the shirt I ordered was going to take longer than expected to get to me. It was a Cody Johnson shirt I wanted to wear to his concert and Kelsey knew the concert was coming up. She offered a refund or store credit. I took the credit and she shipped me a Poison shirt that day express mail. I had it in 3 days and I’m in Utah. I’ve always been happy with my orders. In fact I got the cutest pair of stripped overalls this week that I absolutely love.

My husband ordered a pair of overalls from her. We never
Received the overalls order. I have sent multiple emails and requested a refund and I haven't heard anything from them. I also filed a complaint with BBB about the issues.
She blocked me on facebook after making a comment about never receiving my order or a refund It is now 3/6/2023 and still nothing. DO NOT ORDER from her or her company, Souther Grits Boutique The overalls where ordered in January and was told they will ship to us in on Feb 1st. Still nothing no response back and no refund.

Nothing received and blocked

I ordered a sweatshirt and a pair of bell bottoms from her during her black friday sale and I never recieved my order. I have sent multiple emails and requested a refund and I haven't heard anything from them. I also filed a complaint with BBB about the issues. She blocked me and my mom on facebook after making a comment about never receiving my order and she blocked us both. It is now 2/1/23 and still nothing. DO NOT ORDER from her!

Don’t buy from them!!

Don’t buy from them!!! My daughter got some stuff from her Nov. 25 2022 and her it is Feb 2023 still hasn’t received her stuff nor will she give her a refund and when you ask about your order on Facebook she will block you so I feel like she got Scammed

I would leave zero stars if I could

I would leave zero stars if I could. I ordered 3 shirts on November 29th, 2022. It's going on 7 and a half weeks and I still have not received them. I commented on a Facebook post and they blocked me, ignored my messages on Instagram and Tiktok. I also sent several emails and never get a response. Poor customer service skills...

Do not order from them, they will rob you.

I ordered something early September 2022 but I never received it. They kept telling me it was back ordered but I would receive it soon. After 4months of waiting, I requested a refund but never heard back. It's been 5months, I have not received the item or a refund. Do not order from them, they will rob you.

I preordered a white jumpsuit for my…

I preordered a white jumpsuit for my wedding/bridals. After months of waiting (and well past the promised ship date) - I never got the jumpsuit. Had to cancel my bridal photos. I emailed them upwards of 4-5 times for status and never got a response. I sent a final email and said “DO NOT SHIP THIS TO ME - I have canceled my bridal photos because of not receiving this jumpsuit”, I received a response with a promise of store credit and that the jumpsuit would not be shipped.

Well. They shipped it anyway.
And then when I emailed them about their error in shipping it to me anyway, they tried to charge me for a return shipping label…. ON SOMETHING THEY SHIPPED WHEN THEY WERENT SUPPOSED TO.

They finally agreed to pay the return shipping cost as it was their error.

But.

That was in June-August. Here it is January, and I cannot get a response back on multiple emails regarding my store credit for the jumpsuit.

This company is dog crap. The owner is out of her depths with a crap attitude.

Do NOT BUY from this company, unless you want months of headache trying to chase down responses and address concerns.

Unprofessional

Ordered an item and within 19 days it still hadn't shipped. I reached out to the email provided. They told me the item was a “drop item” and would ship directly from a warehouse. I replied, saying that I understood but I asked for an estimated shipment date and I received no response. I waited 24 hours and requested a refund and got no response. I commented on her Instagram post hoping they would see it and get back to me via email and when I checked the next day, they had deleted not only my comment but another customer's comment. This is still an ongoing situation. By the lack of communication and response from the merchant, I've taken this as unprofessional, rude, and very scam-like business. This business seems to care more about posting on social media than taking care of its customers. Will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau.

I ordered a Shacket in which I never received. I emailed them about it they said I would receive it in early November. Mid November comes around I email them and a week goes by I get no response. I left comments questioning about the item on their IG and the comments get deleted. I had to google the owner and comment on her personal IG page to get communication and my money back for the item. They’re a trash company

They take your money and run

Item ordered on pre-order said would ship first week of November. That shipment date came and went. There has been no communication regarding the order. Emailed company multiple times...no reply to sincere customer service questions. Seller disabled their instagram (or maybe blocked me) I only received one snarky comment when I commented on insta. They have the worst customer service and pretty much seems like they are thieves. I am a single mother out 50 some odd bucks.
