I was really looking forward to a dress and bangle I ordered from this site. I never received the items yet my card was debited the full amount. I believe my items are lost and I need a full refund, but I cannot reach anyone via email to respond and credit my account back. If I don't receive a response I will escalate matters and have the bank investigate. I feel like I have been scammed!

Don't bother with this site, firstly products take weeks to arrive even though your card is debited immediately. When the items arrived they were poorly made from cheap fabric and the high necked chiffon top literally started unravelling when worn the first time.

This is a response to my earlier review. Upon receiving a reply from Burlap, I sent an email to the address provided as instructed. The email came right back as unable to be delivered due to an undetermined issue. Surprise!!! Not. Is this a joke? Why is this company in business?

I received 3 dresses from them. ( I only ordered 2) the total was over $100 so I thought the quality would be nice however it was horrible and cheap. I tried to email them 2 weeks ago and haven't heard a response back but an automated message apologizing it may be days before hearing back. Still haven't heard back. DO NOT ORDER from here.

I ordered 2 sweaters through Burlap Apparel. I was not happy with the quality, and emailed them. I got a refund the next day! They were very prompt and professional. I would order from them again.

Ordered a dress which arrived after 3 weeks. Very cheaply made and nasty material. I want to return this dress for a refund. On their home page they advise to email them at

This email just keeps bouncing back as undeliverable mail. What going on BURLAP??????

Just about everything about this company is wrong. They post ads/timeline on FB and it looks like your friends are ordering from them. I ordered a dress. Shipping took almost 2 months. They make it appear like they are from the US, but most likely from China. Dress arrived completely off in sizing I am a med/large this was an extra small labeled as large. There are no instructions on how to make a return or exchange...only an email, no phone number. After I started posting comments on their FB feed and replies to people liking the dress, with the real information, like shipping sucks, sizing is way off, and no way to return. After the posts I received a refund through PayPal.

I ordered 3 items, they were REALLY small even though I ordered the next size just to make sure. They have not told me where to return them and doesn't look promising that I'll even be able to speak with them on a phone. or get a refund. The clothes come from some Asian country with VERY small women there so the sizing is crazy off. Do not order from them
they aren't honest. I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE KNOW THEY WERE DISHONEST WHEN THERE IS NO TELEPHONE NUMBER. I wear a size 12 in United States sizes, ordered a size 14 it was like a size 8. THEY have corrected the problem

I ordered a sweater that took 3 weeks to arrive and did not fit. I have sent my 3rd email to try and get return instructions. It has been a week and no response.

I would not recommend buying anything from this company.

Absolutely the worst online purchase I have ever made. Product description is completely misleading. The fabric content stated in the merchandise description is completely false. It doesn't match what was shipped at all! The title even states it's a sweater but they shipped a cheap poly cotton jersey knit. W the cheapest sewing construction and the sizing was so small. One of the items shipped has a label that says 65%poly and 35%cotton. It's 100% polyester! As if we don't know what 100% polyester looks like! Unbelievable! I have started the return procedure and I am in the middle of the delay tactics. I sent them an email saying I want a full refund and I got an email back saying we are busy will reply in five days! Then I got an email saying I have two choices, get a credit or get a full refund, asking me what I'd like to do after I already sent my email saying I wanted a full return. So I had to reply again that I want a full return. I had to wait a few days to get another email saying we're very busy, will reply in five days! You better give me my money back! Now! I have been in the retail business for many years and you are going to be sued!

I purchased the high neck chiffon blouse - in fact two of them. Apart from the really long delay in receiving the items, the quality is appalling - super cheap and nasty, poorly made and the sizing is clearly Asian sizing as the large won't fit me and I am a 12/14 normally so not really that big!! This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had with clothing and I have gifted the items to St Vincent de Paul as I don't want to have to send them back and fight over a refund. Never again Burlap!!! Absolute rubbish!

I ordered the winged dress in black in an xxl... I based it on their side chart (it only went up to xl) but based on those measurements it should fit me just fine... but not even close. Personally I am not a giant fan of the material but if it fit better I could of delt with it just fine because it's not like it was an expensive dress.
I read people say you get what you pay for which would of been fine as far as poor quality as some had stated but my issue is much more with fit.
The dress fits my mom (who is much smaller than me) in every aspect but the boobs. I'm an xxl in pretty much everything I wear and she's pretty much like a small to medium in everything she wears so that's that... just going to let her keep it and see if she can do anything to alter the size for her boobs and if not maybe I can cut the wings off and have her sew it to something?? Who knows. Just sucks cuz I thought it would of fit.

The concept of this dress though is nice and I would love if done by a decent company.
So yeah buyer beware ... learned that in school, should of listened but based on sizes it seemed legit.

I ordered two rings for my daughter but I havn´t received them yet. Of course ... I live in Denmark, but that is not the end of the world.
I have given them two stars because it was easy to order. No measures of any kind.

This was probably my worst experience buying online, ever. The measurements provided on the site are wrong. The dress I ordered was much much smaller. It was the length of a t-shirt. The material is thin and scratchy. I ordered this a-line dress with wings on the back and they're attached by a thread. If it did fit, I'd have to alter it before wearing it so it didn't break half way through the day.

They said they're a business based in Florida, but since they don't give any real address or phone number, they're clothes are super small, they take weeks to month to ship things, and I've seen garments on their site sold on amazon saying they're imported, I don't think this is an American business. Which would be fine if they hadn't lied about it. Also everything on their site is on an 80% "sale" which is really suspicious.

I've emailed them and got the same automatic response others are getting which is that they're swamped with emails and won't respond for 5 days. (Of course, they're swamped, their stuff is horrible and everyone is returning things)

TL;DR Don't buy anything from them. It's all over priced and practically a scam.

I purchased two of the same dress, intending to return the one that didn't fit. I've emailed the customer service email twice and have had zero response. I would certainly like to return the dresses and have my refund, but can't get a response. There is not a phone number on their website to contact a customer service rep.

I ordered a couple of items from Burlap. It took at least 3 weeks for the clothes to arrive and to my disappointment the quality wasn't good and they didn't fit right. One of the items has a stain in the front (probably grease). I have emailed Burlap to notify them I want to return the items and they offered me an exchange to which I said no. Since then, I have emailed twice asking for a prepaid label to return the clothes and get my money back and I haven't heard back.
They reached out to me after this review and gave me a refund. Thanks!

Sadly opened my packaged today to realize that you are just a cover operation for the Chinese line of clothing and brands. I specifically asked if an XXL dress would be the equivalent of a size 20. I never got a response, took a chance and ordered and when I received it yesterday, I had a size 14 person try it on and it is snug on her! Why do you not disclose that sizes are small. It is commonly know that when buying from Chinese or Taiwanese businesses, they run VERY small. How do I go about returning this? I feel I have been suckered. You are behaving as if you are an American company or one who is willing to do business with Americans, but this is just another scam. I will do what I can to stop you from buring others.

It seems I am the only one happy here. The waiting was long (btw, as clearly anticipated on B's website), but the item was precisely the way I expected it to be. The fabric, whose motif has just a couple of imperfections, is ok - a regular mid season flannel, the stitching is perfect, and all the details showed in the original picture are in place. However, since the item was produced in China and I did not expect this, I only hope that those who create the clothes Burlap sells are paid appropriately and receive a fair treatment in their workplace.

I ordered 4 items. Yes I should have guessed at those prices i would not get designer quality. None of them were what I anticipated so yes I was disappointed. Delivery was a long time but exactly what they had told me when I ordered. So I imessaged the company through Facebook where their ad appeared in the first place. To my surprise, I was refunded my money back onto my credit card in full within 2 weeks and I was told to keep the items. That was pretty amazing as I thought I would never see my money again. I did send them a picture of the items as part of the process. I thought that was pretty fair they way they handled it.
