Be aware

Be aware. I love how the prices look good on large electricals, example a TV but when you look closer at the import fees....well yeah, it puts the price back right up to it's original registered retail price.

I'll pass.

Edit: I did get in touch several times but no email responses.

So just to get this straight; you found the information about the product, the pricing, the estimated cost of import (which is listed directly on the product page) and more, and thought to yourself; "I don't like the cost and clear information, here's a bad review for you"?

We appreciate that some potential customers like yourself, have a lot of sparetime on their hands, but if you let us know directly the next time you want to complain about something like information already listed on the product page, we would perhaps be able to assist you with alternative solutions, rabat and discount or otherwise general information.

Subscription scams!

I warn you, these are scammers. I made a purchase and paid about 7 euros for 3-day access. After 3 days, 33 euros were withdrawn from my account. It turned out to be a paid subscription, renewable every 28 days. The goods arrived damaged, I filed a complaint and placed and paid for a new order. And the delay began, people were asked to confirm the order even though it had been paid. In fact, the idea was to delay the new shipment until 28 days had passed in order to debit the subscription fee from the account. Be careful.

The worst experience I ever had with a…

The worst experience I ever had with a purchase, it took two months to have a refund and the customer service wasn’t helpful at all. I’ve been charged twice and I’ve got the refund after two months only because Klarna intervened, wasn’t my bank’s fault, the refund simply wasn’t issued.

Shopbetter24 *BEWARE•

Like many of the other reviews for Shopbetter24, I was tricked into a £39.50 monthly subscription There seems to be lots of items out of stock on the (rubbish) website, lots of items overpriced, even with the 15% discount! Please learn from our mistake, be vary aware of doing any business with this company. I’m also guessing they will try and respond by saying I’m not a member, but I can confirm that I was for approximately 4 days, until I realised I’d been charged a MONTHLY membership fee of £39.50. I swiftly cancelled after realising I’d been misled. BE AWARE of this company!!!

I’d give minus if I could

I’d give minus if I could. I’ve never been on their site but was purchasing something on FB. Thought I was paying delivery.. unfortunately they’re saying I signed up and they then took another approx£40 out. I actually ended up not purchasing as realised it was a Scam! Not received any email to inform of terms or conditions if I did sign up! Horrendous customer service, Horrendous company to deal with.

Misled to sign up.

Like a couple of others, thought I was signing up for a Starbucks prize, a Gift Box. But had to pay a shipping fee, $9 and then another 2$ fee… Find out I signed up for recurring membership price: 49$ recurring membership: 21 days??? The website is horrible.
Bad experience. Blocked my credit card in case. :((
Adding… This company did respond to say it has nothing to do with a Starbucks Contest but the contest came to my email address and led to signing for this ShopBetter website. AND I’ve had two more of the same emails but deleted them. I’ll never recoupe the small amounts for Administration fee or shipping fee. Maybe another fake company is doing this? Using ShopBetter? I’m just happy I’m no longer associated. I am a real person.

I have “won” a hoover for £6.99 but then it took me to another payment page for an admin charge - not stating the cost. I am looking for refund but everything takes you to a place that charges you for everything!

I received a defective product.

I received a defective product ( a microwave). I contact them as soon I received it I send the product back to Valencia and they never send me the money back I still waiting. Horrible service. Don't buy here!

We're very sorry that you deem our service to be horrible.
As soon as you contacted us initially regarding the defective microwave, we, as per our standard procedures, asked for documentation and investigated the case as soon as we received that documentation.

The microwave itself was deemed still fully functional, although with some vanity damage during delivery.
We offered compensation for the vanity damage, which you declined, so we procured and sent a return label your way. That way, you still had the option of returning the microwave.
As soon as the microwave arrived back at our warehouse, we confirmed the contents of the return delivery, and started the refund process right away.

Unfortunately, we were unaware that an error had occurred with the refund until you contacted us 2 hours after writing this review, and we of course also made sure to process your refund as soon as we were aware you had not received it.

We always try our best to answer any questions or fix any problems that occur with orders or refunds, although it is difficult if we are unaware that a problem exists.

We're very sorry you think we've had the worst service ever.
We can see that you contacted us regarding potential delivery damage and/or missing parts of your order.
Unfortunately, we have a relatively strict policy regarding such claims, as we also have a very narrow timeframe for reporting such faults to the courier.
Normally, we would need to be informed within 48 hours of when you receive the product, although in rare circumstances, we might still be able to continue with a case if it is documented within 5 days. This is also noted in our terms and conditions on our website.

Unfortunately, we first heard from you on the 15th of January, a full 16 days after the product was delivered.
In this instance, the case would get rejected by the courier no matter what.
We offered you a 20% compensation as a commercial gesture from us, as we want to deliver the best customer service we can. Although, we never heard back from you again.
