Extremely Disappointed, No customer service

I’m extremely disappointed with American Threads and the quality of their clothing. I purchased an item that ripped after only a couple of hours of normal wear, which is completely unacceptable for the price point and brand image they promote. Isn't this a woman owned company? Supporting women??? I think not.

What’s even more frustrating is the lack of customer service afterward. Instead of standing behind their product or offering any kind of replacement or refund, they refused to help resolve the issue. A company that truly values its customers would take responsibility when a product clearly fails almost immediately.

I wanted to support this brand, but after this experience, I won’t be shopping here again. Buyers should be aware that the quality may not match the price, and customer satisfaction does not seem to be a priority. If they would have replaced the item or refunded my money I would have walked away a happy customer and would have given them another chance. Customer service is everything, unless you're American Threads.

The customer service for this company…

The customer service for this company is the absolute worst. I have never had a worse experience with a company. They are quick to blame their customers for their own faults. They send stained clothing and then will blame the customer with no way to resolve it without the customer having to take pictures before the return. Who takes photos of items as evidence for a company?! I will NEVER purchase from them again. They are rude and take 2 months to respond to you about an issue with clothing. Seems fishy to me to be blaming ur customers 2 months later. I strongly advise you to no purchase their low quality clothing with low quality customer service.

This company is a SCAM

This company is a SCAM! Do not order from here. They sent me a dress that was heavily fragranced, I returned due to a bad fit, unworn, tags on, and they said they wouldn't accept the return because it smelled of fragrance. I can't stand fragrance and don't use any products with fragrance. I also never wore the dress. Their customer service was SO rude and awful. They are running a scheme as many reviews are saying the same thing.

Terrible customer service and…

Terrible customer service and impossible to return. We placed an order for a dress in 3 sizes to make sure one fit. Days later that cancelled the order and said we can only order one and to follow the size chart. We followed it and measured EXACTLY as stated. Had to pay for rush shipping at this point and the dress did not fit. I requested a return on their website and cannot get anyone to respond with a return label. I have asked MULTIPLE TIMES. Returns should not be this hard. Do not go through the headaches of ordering from this company.

I advise not to order from this…

I advise not to order from this company. We bought a dress and my granddaughter tried it on and it didn’t fit so we returned. They rejected it saying there was dirt on it and a strap was twisted. There was no dirt on it and the strap was not damaged. This company is not to be trusted.

I don’t know why all these reviews are…

I don’t know why all these reviews are full of the return policy. You are told the return policy when you buy something. I made sure to try on everything before I bought it so now I have no complaints with the return policy because I only bought it if I knew I was going to wear it I don’t know about the other locations but the Woodlands location. Everyone was so sweet and made me feel so welcome well also complementing me on the right outfits to wear so sorry all of y’all had a bad experience.

Awful Customer Service! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING!

I purchased a full price dress while on vacation in Orlando in person at the American Threads store. Upon returning to SD (we have no locations near us), I decided to return this dress. Tags are still on, never worn and have receipt. The in store manager was rude and said they cannot accept something mailed to them I'd have to return online. After 3 emails and one week later (as there is no customer service phone number), I was instructed because it was an in store purchase it has to be returned IN THE STORE. I called the store manager back and again was told they cannot return it unless I am there in person. Again, I live in SD. I will never purchase anything from them again

Poor return policy

Poor return policy. There's a $2.00 restocking fee, $ 8.95 for the shipping label (which I printed) and the flat $ 8.00 shipping fee. So basically they kept almost $19 when I returned a dress! I tried to go through their customer service, but they told me there was nothing they could do. Too many other options to shop online to deal with such a terrible return policy.

Only buy if you want store credit for return

Researched sites for homecoming dresses to ensure that we picked a site that would allow returns to original form of payment. Bought 9 dresses for daughter to try on, double checked that none were final sale, etc. When we went to return, 6 of the 9 dresses had changed to returnable for store credit only. I emailed customer support, and they responded that a warning that the dresses were returnable for store credit only had always been on the page. Not true, and I have screenshots to prove it. Only got permission to return for refund when I made a threat to report deceptive business practices to the FTC. Was instructed to go back through the website and request a return. Still only eligible for store credit. Contacted customer service again, rep says to choose store credit and it'll be fixed when the return arrives. Returned today, I suspect that if I ever see this $475 again it'll be because I contacted the credit card company.

Worst customer service ever…

If I could give shipping and customer service zero stars I would. This online store scammed me out of a skirt and I attempted to contact them 3 times to get clarification. They just did not respond to repeated attempts to find out where they delivered my product. Still trying to reach them, with no success. I will be trying my credit card company now. Worst service ever!

Return Policy Sucks

American Thread has a horrible return policy - they lure you in with discounts and if you return you end up paying for it. Yes, I expect to pay for shipping sometimes at cheap sites like this but give me a break. I will never purchase from this company again.

Wish I would have read the reviews…

Wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. I purchased full-priced items as Christmas gifts online on Cyber Monday and I used their Cyber Monday coupon which made all items final sale.....dirty business if you ask me. I won't support and I'll spread the word.
