I ordered a Smallwood aluminium roofing…

I ordered a Smallwood aluminium roofing square because they are the Rolls Royce of roofing squares and they are still hand made in Leeds by this small family firm.

When it arrived it had some marks on it and the edge blade was not square showing evidence of a bulge.

I contacted Gary Cochrane at Gibsons and sent him photographs. He was most apologetic and explained that the bulge was caused by part of the manufacturing process and that it had slipped through quality control.

He immediately sent me a replacement by next day delivery. It arrived as promised, in pristine condition.

The man who never made a mistake never made anything, but the man who fixes his gets my business.
