Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 224 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the service, describing it as misleading, with job postings often being inaccurate or irrelevant to their experience. People frequently reported issues with the payment process, noting that initial charges were often followed by demands for additional, hidden fees for services that were not clearly explained or delivered. Reviewers felt that the staff, particularly relationship managers, were unhelpful and primarily focused on additional charges, often making promises about jobs that were not met. The website itself was criticized for facilitating these issues, with many feeling that their money was wasted and that the services provided no actual benefit in their job search. However, some customers also noted positive experiences, particularly with resume writing services, finding them effective and helpful in securing interview calls. A few other people also felt that the platform was a good job portal, providing relevant databases and opportunities, and even recommended it for job changes or internships.

Shine.com cheated me of ₹50,000 – pure fraud, but I’m fighting back!

Three weeks back, Shine.com called me with “premium services” and “100% interview guarantee”. Started with ₹3,697 registration, then kept demanding more ₹5,650 verification, ₹9,967 background check, ₹17,047 placement, ₹13,679 priority totl ₹50,000 gone. No job calls, no profile boost, nothing delivered. Classic bait and switch scam.
I took action immediately
Posted full story with proofs on LinkedIn, tagged job groups & HT Media already multiple shares.
Filed cyber crime complaint on cybercrime.gov.in with call recordings, screenshots & transaction IDs.
Blocked their numbers and refused multiple follow-up calls begging for one last payment or agreement sign. But firmly refused.
Filed consumer complaint on consumerhelpline.gov.in demanding full refund and compensation for fraud and mental harrasment and taucharing.
Spreading awareness daily on LinkedIn to save others this helped me a lot to spread awareness and reveal the fraud shine.
Friends, if you’re a victim, do the same! Post publicly, file cyber & consumer complaints, never pay another rupee, block them, and warn everyone. Let’s expose Shine.com together and stop this fraud. Stay safe!

Shine.com – Looks professional on the surface, but the experience tells a different story!

At first glance, Shine.com appears to be a highly professional and well-organized service provider. The website, the pitch, and the way they approach you create an impression of expertise and structure. Unfortunately, my actual experience has been quite the opposite.

The process felt disorganized, and once you subscribe, the focus seems to shift more toward asking for additional payments and upgrading to more services — many of which they are not fully capable of delivering. Instead of feeling supported, I felt pushed.

The biggest disappointment was their resume writing service. What they delivered was far from a professionally crafted resume. One document turned out to be just a covering note, and another included the name of a company I have never worked for. It gave a strong impression that the content was copy-pasted from other resumes, with minimal effort to understand my background or differentiate my profile. If every resume looks the same, how does that help anyone stand out in today’s job market?

I am sharing this feedback not out of frustration, but in the hope that Shine.com’s top management takes a serious look at these issues. The platform has potential, but without genuine customization, quality control, and accountability, customers will continue to feel let down.

Big fraud shine I got cheated by 35000…

Big fraud shine I got cheated by 35000 today. They told me first pay registration fee of 3697 and after that a madam so called Shalu as relationship manager told me to pay 5650 and than 9967 and and 17047. When I started arguing a man called Deva was trying to pacify me and asked me to pay 24679 again which I refused. I have asked for refund and if they don't I will go to consumer forum and file a cheating case against them. Giving these people 48 hours time to refund or face the consequences. I have also contacted the press and media and I will expose shine fraud team

⭐ Scam - SHINE.COM Job portal

⭐ Review Title: Misleading and Unethical Practices by Shine.com — Beware!

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Shine.com. On 11th November 2025, I received a promotional call from Ms. Gunjan offering their Combo Pack (Application Highlighter & Resume Booster) for ₹3,292, valid for a year. I was later contacted by Mr. Aravind (08068914217), who repeatedly insisted I pay immediately, assuring me that this was a one-time cost and no additional amount would ever be asked.

Before paying, I even wrote to shine.com

to confirm the authenticity of the offer. Shine’s reply confirmed it was genuine and mentioned nothing about any future payments. Based on that assurance, I made the payment while Mr. Aravind was on call and sent my CV as requested.

However, just a few hours later, I received a call from Ms. Shallu (08068914122), who introduced herself as my Relationship Manager and immediately demanded an additional ₹4,990 to proceed further. When I refused, she arrogantly insisted that I send a written statement saying I didn’t want Shine’s services anymore!

This clearly shows a bait-and-switch tactic — Shine first lures candidates with a low “one-time” cost, and then demands more money once payment is made. This behavior is unethical and feels like a scam.

I strongly urge others to be cautious before making any payments to Shine.com. They make verbal promises and written assurances that they later break, leaving customers cheated and helpless.

I’ve already written to their team for a resolution and refund. If there’s no proper action, I will escalate this to consumer forums and public grievance platforms.

Payment Details: ₹3,292 paid on 13th November 2025
Nature of Complaint: False promises, unethical additional demand, harassment by staff

Extremely poor service || Non-transparent policies || Forced selling

Its an absolutely money-making company with no proper service given. They use pressure tactics and upfront lying to force you to buy additional services at exorbitant cost stating it is required for your resume. The quality of resume writing is very mediocre free AI tools can do a much better job Despite taking multiple services there is no recruiter action or any jobs. Not at all recommended for anyone with some experience may work for junior experience members.

Shine website I paid for premium…

Shine website I paid for premium service but they did not deliver anything as promised. First they said they did not have money, saying resume highlight, recruiter call etc. then they asked for more money on various pretexts. Finally I realized that it was a complete waste of time and money. When I call customer service, no one responds properly.

⚠️ Review fraud company

⚠️ Review: Shine.com is a Fraudulent Company – Be Careful!

I want to warn everyone about Shine.com. This company is involved in fraudulent activities. They contact people pretending to offer job opportunities and assign a so-called “dedicated manager” who later asks for money in the name of job placement or registration fees.

Please don’t fall into their trap! They make false promises about guaranteed jobs and cheat many people out of their hard-earned money.

I have proof of their fraud, and there are many others who have also been scammed by them. Before dealing with Shine.com, please check reviews online and stay alert.

Stay safe and don’t trust fake job offers that ask for money!

I purchased multiple serviceMisleading Sales with No Service Delivereds from…

I purchased multiple services from Shine.com, including:

Application Booster Package – ₹3099

Education Verification Plus Package – ₹4400

Featured Profile : 90 days – ₹1999

Job Profile Verification Plus Package – ₹6099

Mid Level Resume Writing Services – ₹2999

Professional Summary – ₹8999

International Profile Update – ₹40 (Singapore, Middle East)

Unfortunately, I faced misleading sales tactics with no actual service fulfillment. Despite making all payments, I received no substantial update or support related to these services. The promises made were unfulfilled, and there was a lack of transparency about additional costs or service delivery timelines.

This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, and I caution others to carefully evaluate before investing in paid services with Shine.com.
