Shame on you Shift
I was charged for the full program eventhough I know I only wanted the trial. I emailed them as soon as I saw I was charged so get a refund and they firstly took ages to even reply. And then came the office you read the small print you would have seen we don’t do refunds. Now the video and on their website says refund guarantee, but that is obviously not the case. And to add I will be taking matters further and it’s in breach of the consumers rights. I would never recommend this to anyone and will actually be filling every one in to say don’t get it, they are ripping people off.

The infomercial on social media is misleading and the company is greedy and has no conscience.
I originally attempted to sign up for the 1 month subscription with the money back guarantee offer only to be baited and pressured with a timeframe to gain an extra two months for the price of one. When selecting this offer, the Money Back Guarantee no longer applies. I, along with numerous others have been caught out by this. When contacting the Shift Team, a templated response (saves time when there’s so many of these responses required!) is sent regarding the T&C’s and the Money Back Guarantee only being available to 1 month subscription. Mind you, even though I signed up for the extra two months, I decided SHIFT wasn’t for me almost as quickly as I signed up. I submitted my request to cancel within less than two weeks of signing up and only after opening the app ONCE. The response I got was me being questioned why I was canceling (they also advertised cancellation will be a no questions asked process, not the case) and even offered me more than 50% discount on what I had paid per month. My original email stated I was within the Money Back Guarantee timeframe, to which they cleverly ignored until confirmation of my rejection that I did not want to continue at the discounted rate. Then after processing the cancellation I was ignored before that impersonal and infuriating templated response regarding the Money Back Guarantee only being available to the one month subscription was sent more than a day later. All other correspondence via email was almost instant.
100% customer dissatisfaction.

Although the sign up process was a tad confusing, I did enjoy the app. When I needed assistance with customer service I got a reply straight away and offered multiple ways to deal with my issue. Liked how they were very upfront but also offered other options if I changed my mind!
