I’m only a week into the program and I love that it helps me stay disciplined in a completely doable way. I think this app has SO much potential, like it could be incredibly amazing. It seems like a very new app and they have a lot of glitches to work out. The customer service has been very responsive to my feedback and I hope they work with a developer to make improvements and fix some bugs. For me it’s worth the value. I wanted something affordable. It costs less than one personal training session or a month gym membership. Consistent steps everyday to reach my goal. Love that I can personalise my meals I can even scan the barcode on most my food items and it will automatically add it in and let me adjust portions.

Shift doesn’t make sense to me

Shift overall….not so much. It didn’t make sense to me and I asked to cancel my subscription. I just want my money back but that process isn’t happening. Ugh!
Refusal to return money
I did not join this program to be charged annually even though I toldvthem to cancel my subscription. No one answers the phone when you call and customer service is not very helpful when they finally answer a day later. I just want my money back. This is truly one of the worst service departments I have ever used and they definitely need to be taken down by the better business bureau. One staris too many

They charge your card extra, blame you for the confusing and misleading fine print, are super rude and ignore you for days. Abram offered the worst customer service I've ever received. The app crashes, it is not at all 'customised' to you, SO generic.

Shift with Erin is not even shift with Erin. The model has disavowed their relationship and the way they sell the program is misleading at best. They never give you a total before you buy and they say it has a 30 day trial
With a guarantee but it’s not true. Fraudulent all over. Do not get this, there are several better programs. They also pay for people to leave decent reviews. All a scam.

Predatory practices - Auto Renewal scam
I subscribed for the year membership over a year ago, used the app for a short time before deleting it. The program, while seemingly well planned, did not fit for me and I did not utilize the service after October 2021. On August 11, I received an email that my annual subscription would renew automatically. (Side note - the email was in my spam, I had to go searching for it) I tried calling customer service directly, no answer likely due to time zone challenges. I emailed that evening further requesting a confirmed cancellation (as I thought I had canceled in October, but apparently did not.)
I was charged 190.00, requested a refund but was denied. I was initially offered a deep discount, which I declined. I was then assigned a new CS Rep who sent me excerpts of their policy stating that annual subscriptions could not be refunded. This policy is not clear nor transparent. Their auto renewal is designed to be a bait and switch to easily steal dollars from people who have been unknowingly entrapped. This is a predatory practice by a company that delivers a service with a high cancellation rate.

Waste of Money
I subscribed for the year membership over a year ago and only used the app for 4 short weeks because the workouts were the same as just using YouTube. They charged my account $190 and I decided I wasn’t going to renew. Well I saw a charge on my account this month and requested a refund but was denied. They offered me an extreme discount for the app which means they are obviously over charging to begin with. I replied with, “I don’t want a discount, I want a refund;” however, they did not oblige. Any company that values their customers and simply believes in their product offers a refund (especially since my request was within 48 hours of being charged.) I am extremely dissatisfied with this company and believe it’s a scam at this point.

Not only did she refund me for the current month, but she was able to see where I requested for cancelation before and offered to refund me for that month, as well. Amazing customer service
I almost quit since my life became a bit too chaotic for the plan (mainly the food since my kids where not helping me stay on plan) but Abram spoke with me and restarted my plan so I can start again. He was incredibly helpful and made me definitely want to continue going forward.
Good app
If I had more time, I believe Shift would have made a big difference in my life. It was very thorough, had lots of resources, I loved the recipes, and the workouts were well-paced. I always had trouble connecting my music to the app though, so I could never listen while working out. I wish there were more reminders to workout though.
