Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service! Despite buying the product back in May we have only just been able to have the item fitted. Unfortunately a screw broke during the fitting. One call and a lovely lady at Sheilamaid is sending me a replacement. So nice to deal with a company that prioritises their customers. My decorator was impressed with the product and the service received so there may well be another purchase off the back of this. Thank you

Unprompted review
Six batten dryer.
Arrived on time, suitably packaged. No faults with the items. They even give you a small piece of wood to get the correct size of batten. I needed longer batterns so bought locally and smoothed them off. Used every day, large house hold. The 6 battern version does allow either a lot of clothes and sheets or the ability to use two battens and thus increase the air flow. Bought to replace a previous original of 100years use.

The instructions feel a bit amateur and…
The instructions feel a bit amateur and could be much clearer and better written without error. The pulley screws are unnecessarily long and the supplied cleat and screws are on the small side considering the thickness of rope and weight of the rack. So far so good in terms of practicality.

Top quality product, quick delivery
I’ve bought Sheila made airers in the past and have always been satisfied with the quality of the product.
I needed a couple of pulleys to hang an existing airer. They arrived quickly and with totally recyclable packaging. The pulleys and rope are well made and easy to install though you need strong hands to screw them fully into the joist. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to install a clothes airer.

Delivered by DHL I think. Good installation kit, although the instructions are all in inches. It's cast iron and comes with plenty of rope, which I was worried about because I was installing below a high ceiling. Should last decades.
